“Sit, Sit, Sit, Sit, Sit, Sit!” Kagome screamed.

InuYasha and I were in front of the well, having it all out after InuYasha's last meeting with Kikyou.

A sea of tears raged in my eyes and I thought about InuYasha's meeting with Her.
I came into view as InuYasha was confectioning his feelings for Kikyou, yet again.

:Flashback:

InuYasha and Kikyou where in front of The Goshinboku God Tree, when Kikyou asked, “InuYasha do you still had feelings for me?”

“Kikyou…”

“You still owe me your life and I will take it to hell with me when this quest is over.”
InuYasha was quiet for a moment, thinking. `Is that really what I want? To go to hell with Kikyou when this is all over?'

Kikyou charged in when the silence wagered on, “Have fallen in love with my reincarnate? For all she is, is a copy of the real thing.”

`Kagome.'

His mined answered, `I haven't even thought about her when the quest is over. Will she go home and marry and have pups with Hoho?' He was confused with the pure anger, resentment of that thought but quickly shook his head.

“I don't know but Kikyou I will go with you.”

`After all I'm just a hanyou, Kagome wouldn't want a hanyou following her around when the quest is over. It is a way to get away from the pain of being alone again.'

Kikyou walked up to him and nodded, pulling him into a deep kiss.

:End of Flashback:

I had then given up hope and decided to go home. For good.

“Humph!” InuYasha kissed the dirt.

“InuYasha!” My eyes were clouded over in tears now, pouring down my face like a waterfall. “I've had it! Every time you go to that... that… Clay-pot-bitch, you tell her you love her and I can't take it!”

She saw that the Inu-Gang were starting to come over to see what the matter was.

With InuYasha successfully planted into the dirt the three of Inu-Gang were made up of Sango, the Taijiya, whose entire village and family had been destroyed by Naraku, the Evil half-demon bent on destroying everything in his path, to get what he wants.

Miroku, who has a Wind Tunnel in this that that will suck up everything in its path when released, he has had it as a curse from his grandfather, who had gotten it from Naraku. The Wind Tunnel although is a great weapon for battle, has a dark side, it will eventually suck up its own bearer after some time.

Shippou, a Kitsune, who's mother and father been killed by the Thunder Brothers, Hiten and Manten, and it was InuYasha who killed and revenged the little Kitsune's family.

InuYasha who in turn had been pinned to a tree, The Goshinboku God Tree, for fifty years, Naraku had deseed InuYasha and Kikyou those fifty years ago, transforming into InuYasha and injuring Kikyou, and then transforming into Kikyou and threatening InuYasha. In this disseveration InuYasha and Kikyou had a fight which ended destroying Kikyou's life.
Although Kikyou's life was restored later with a part of Kagome's soul and the help of Urasue's potions and dark magic, Kikyou was alive but yet dead, she was the walking-dead, not of this world or the next filed with hatred and grief.

All in favor of the Shikon no Tama.

The Shikon no Tama was the whole reason that Sango's village and family had been destroyed, Miroku's Wind Tunnel created, Shippou's mother and father dead, and InuYasha's and Kikyou's misunderstanding. (Ya, right...)

The Shikon Jewel has the power to increase the demon holder's power to amazing heights and in the power of The Shikon no Tama if it where in the hands of a human would grant the human one selfless wish.

“I've had enough! I'm sorry, but I can't do this anymore!" I turned and walked toward the well, picking up my bag.

“Kagome!” Shippou screamed. The fellow Inu-Gang had just arrived, just as I started walking.

“Kagome-chan?” Sango quoted, stating my tear streaked face and InuYasha just getting up from the all those `sits.'

“Kagome-sama?” Miroku questioned silently.

“I'm sorry everybody…” I sniffed, “I'm leaving and I don't think I'm coming back. I can't have my heart broken anymore.” I wiped my face with my sleeve, with a broken smile. “There's only enough one girl can take.”

“Kagome,” InuYasha started, before I stopped him.

“NO! I won't take it!” I said grabbing my head, shaking it, and backing up toward the well. I turned my tear filled gaze toward everybody. They looked as if they weren't believing what they where hearing.

InuYasha looked as if he had made a grave mistake.

I turned toward Sango, “I'll miss you so much Sango and I'll never forget the time and secrets we've shared you where always like a onesan to me.”

I turned toward Miroku, “Miroku, you've always been like an older brother I could always depend on.” Sango snorted despite herself, and I smiled. “Even through all your little problems I think you and Sango will have a great life together.” I added, making Miroku and Sango blush and stutter.

I turned toward little Shippou, “Shippou you've always been that little something to cheer me up on all those sad days. I always thought of you as my son.” When I finished the only thing that was moving were my legs, still backing up toward the well.

When I finally turned toward InuYasha, who more than everybody looked like he was losing the only person that could understand him, being that as it may.

“InuYasha,” I stopped and clapped my hands together making everybody jump, I closed my eyes and chanted an incarnation. When I was done everybody heard a gasp from InuYasha and turned the eyes toward him, even me...

InuYasha's rosary had fallen off!

Everybody stood a gape, all except me who nodded my head.

“Kaede had given me the incarnation for the rosary when I was ready. To release you, now you can do as you please.” I mumbled these last words, “So you can't come and get me.” But he heard it, all the same, wondering what she meant.

“After all we've been through, Mistress Centipede, Yura of the Hair, The Mask of Flesh, Tokajin, and many more. I have always been by your side and I've even promised you that I, Kagome Higurashi, would stand by your side till the end of the quest, but I'm sorry I have to take it back.”

I was in a waterfall of tears again when I said these last words, “As for The Shikon no Tama you can get Kikyou to help you,” I took a deep breath, “and if it's anything to you, I've always cared about you no matter what form you where in, human, hanyou, or full demon,” and I took one last look at everybody before stopping, feeling the hard wood of the well behind my legs.

“And I've always wanted to tell you that… that… Ai shiteru, and I will always have you in my broken heart.” With that I smiled at everybody and fell backwards into the well with a last, “Farewell.”
