Dear Diary,
I did it. I signed the contract. Oh, I hope I did the right thing. I'm gradually getting over Inu- Inu- well, you-know-who. O.k. gradually maybe is not the word. Slowly? Or carefully, cautiously, deliberately, purposefully, ploddingly? SIGH, I don't know anymore. I'm going home to see mom again before we begin my CD. I want to talk to her and see the Goshinboku God Tree again. It seems since I left, another part is missing from me. Besides the bigger part what was Inu- InuYasha.

Kagome stopped writing and looked around her room. Her perfect red walls and silver `sorrys' (That is what they're called) hanging from the ceiling covering a black ceiling. A Red bed I was lying on, and tan ruffy carpet. All reminded me of the man of my dreams.

With the exception of a wide screen TV, huge boom box, and a walk-in closet full of clothes.

I missed InuYasha.

Kagome sighed again and brought herself to write in her diary,

I just hope he's o.k and he's happy.

Lots of love,
Kagome

Kagome heard a nock on her door just when she finished her entry in her dairy.

“Yes?”

“Kagome-san?” A muffled voice called out.

“Yes, Asa? What do you want?” I said in the nicest was possible, trying to hide my true emotions.

“Some hobo is at the door and they won't go away. Do you want me to get rid of him?”
“No, I got it Asa.” I replied getting up from my bed, just to get an exciting idea.
I quickly walked over to the window in my room and looked outside it to see the huge oak tree.

`Not as huge as Goshinboku God Tree though…'I thought grimly.

I opened the window and placed my foot on the ledge, `I have to jump five feet to reach the closest branch. PISH! I can do that!' and I looked at how far I was up, `at least I hope I can…'

I was just about to jump when Asa opened the door.

“Kagome-san? What takin-” Then he spotted me, “What the hell are you doing?” He ran over to me, I shut my eyes, and…

(should I make her jump?)

…jumped out the window.

“Kagmoe-san!” Asa yelled as her tried to grab my hand, but he was too late…

I had already jumped the gap and was currently holding the tree branch with one hand.
“Don't worry Kagome-san! I'll get you down from there! Just don't move!” He made a movement to put his leg on the window's ledge like I did, but I called out.

“Asa! Wait!” He stopped, “Don't worry, I got it covered!” I smiled and brought my other hand up to grasp the branch and pushed myself up. When my elbows were resting on the tree branch I looked at him, his mouth was agape.

“How- Wha-?” And currently couldn't comprehend a sentence. `HA! He thought I was a weak little girl needing protection. Well, that changed his mind.'

“See you at the bottom!” I laughed and twisted my body so I flipped over the branch and landed at the bottom of the tree. About twenty feet from that branch I jumped from.

`Ouch… man, I have got to start working out again!' I thought wincing.

I started running toward the front door ignoring the calls for Asa behind me.

When I got there I stopped dead in my tracks, for my grandfather was sitting down and muttering something about how pushy the kids were these days.

“Grandpa?” I asked.

His head snapped up, “Kagome! I have to tel-” He was just about to finish when Asa opened the door and cut in.

“Kagome-san…” pant-pant, “WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING?” I didn't see what he was wearing until now, he had on a clad in a black shirt, and in light blue screen print was Mario grabbing Peach's hand, `I scored with the Princess.' I chuckled.

“Hey, young hugulen! Don't talk that way to my granddaughter!”

Asa looked at my grandfather quickly, then to me, and had a confused look on his face.

“Granddaughter?” He asked.

I chuckled sheepishly, “Ya, this is my grandfather.” I patted his head, “Still alive, Grandpa Higurashi.”

“Kagome!” Grandpa wined. (I'm just going to call him that kay?) “Don't speak that way to your elderly!”

“Sure Gramps.” I said still patting him on the head, “Sure.”

“Kagome! There is something going on at the shrine and I don't like it!”

I looked at him shocked, “What do you mean something's wrong?” and then my face turned smug, “And why do you need my help, oh wise one.”

“Something's going on with the Bone Eater's Well and I-”

“Let's go!” I yelled pulling his hand and running toward my Mustang, successfully dragging him along. “Asa get Edward! I'll meet you at the gates!”

---

When we got to the Higurashi Shrine I jumped out of the car, and was surrounded by screaming fans.

“ASA! EDWARD! HELP!” I was then picked up in the arms of Edward as Asa cleared a path for me, “Thank you, Edward.” I said gratefully and he put me down on the sidewalk.

Just as Asa came back I started running up the stairs of the shrine.
“Kagome-san!” Asa called, “wait up!”

I just kept running up the stairs thinking, `Something's wrong with the well.
The Bone Eater's Well.
THE Well.'

When I got to the top of the staors I quickly ran over towards the well's house (I don't know what it is called… sorry) and opened the sliding doors.

“Kagome!” I heard someone call. “Kagome!”

Sota came running up behind me, “Kagome! Jeesh, how fast can you run?”

“Sota,” My voice was grave, “What is wrong with the well?”

Sota gulped and said, “I really don't know. That's why Grandpa went to fetch you.”

“What's happening? It looks fine.”

“Well wait a little while you'll find out.” I nodded and stared walking towards it.

“Kagome-san!” It was Asa, “Why didn't-”

“Shh! Asa!” I snapped and I looked into its depths. I noticed my backpack. `How did that get there? … Oh ya.”

:Flashback:
I started toward the well in a sprint and jumped into it like a jack-rabbit, `Yae! I'm goin…' only to hit the bottom.

“Wha?” I climbed out of the well and jumped again, to hit the bottom again.

“NNNNOOOO!” I cried, climbing out and jumping back in, and again and again, until I was black and blue all over my legs. “NNNOOO!” I cried again, climbing out and running out of the well house, forgetting my backpack at the bottom of the well.
:End of Flashback:

Just then I saw a glow in the well, right where my backpack was currently sitting. `To do? Or not to do? That is the question.' (-grins- I COULDN'T HELP IT!)

“Kagome-san?” Asa's voice pulled me from my thoughts. “What WAS that?”

“Asa, Edward.” I turned around to look at their faces, “I haven't been truthful to you guys.”

---

“No freekin' way.” Asa said eyes wide; Edward exactly like him.

“It's true. When I fifteen I was attacked by Mistress Centipede, and brought back in time five hundred years ago to the Feudal Era Japan.”

I looked toward my mother for support, she nodded and gave me a small smile. I took a deep breath and begin again, “From then I walked to the Goshinboku God Tree I saw from the well and I saw a man pined to the tree.” My voice grew very soft, “I've never… never seen anyone like that before, he… he looked like he was sleeping. Just going to awaken at anytime, but I knew. I knew it was wrong. He was pined by an arrow and I walked up toward him when I was just as close to touch him I saw that he had dog ears on top of his head.”

"Wait, DOG ears?” Asa asked shocked still. Edward punched him in the shoulder and pointed to me. My eyes were glazed over as I remembered that moment.

:Flashback:

I stood frozen in front of a boy- a man, pinned to a tree.

A peaceful look apon his face, just like a child's.

My hair blew in the wind along with his, reveling two pointed dog ears on top of his head.

I gasped and reached my hand out to reach them, just as I did an arrow rushed past my face and I cried out.

“You there, get away from him!” Someone said behind me.

:End of Flashback:

I blinked and shook my head, wiping the memory away.

Someone put a hand on my shoulder and I looked up startled, “It's o.k onesan, they'll understand.” I looked at my bodyguards, who were staring at me.

“What?” I asked.

“You were talking about a man with dog ears pinned to a tree.” Asa explained helpfully.
“Yes, his name was InuYasha.” I got out painfully.

“INUYASHA?” Asa jumped out from his seat, startling everybody, “So he's the one you love?”

“Yes.” I replied without hesitation, not noticing the pained look on his face as I pictured my red armored knight.

Edward got up form his seat too and walked over to me, bringing my hands in his two looking into my eyes. In an unheard question.

“I was mad at him.” I begin, looking down into my lap. “I yelled at him for seeing Kikyou. I broke his rosary so he couldn't come and get me. So I could live a normal life.” I laughed bitterly, “Some normal life this is.”

Than I begin again, “He looked so pained when I left, like if he could go back in time he'd change everything. It wasn't until later I realized how much I needed him by my side, almost like that air I breathe... I know that sounds cheesy but it's true.” I said once I saw Sota's face scrunch up in disgust.

“I know onesan but still, eww…” I laughed, truly laughed for the first time since I left the Feudal Era.

“I know Sota.” I ruffled his hair playfully. Gently sliding my hands from Edward's, putting them back into my lap.

After a while I got up and started walking towards the door.

Asa started walking with me until I stopped him, “I'm going to check the well everybody. Stay here. If I don't come back you'll know what happened.” I quickly sprinted oust the house not waiting for a reply, toward the well's house.

When I had gotten there I saw the light blue glow and I jumped in…

… only to hit the bottom of my side of the well. (2x of's…)

“Shoot,” I muttered my old self coming back. I quickly went over to my back pack to see the light dimming. I grabbed my bag and lifted it to find a book.

`Hmm… that's weird.' I thought.

I bent down and grabbed it to see it had writing on the cover. I tried to brush it away but I couldn't quite get it. I took a deep breath and blew on the cover and just made out the markings:
