Inuyasha was running as fast as he could. He had heard Kagome's scream and her scent was getting stronger the closer he got.

 

He came to a clearing and stopped running. There it was! Naraku's castle! He unsheathed his Tetsusaiga and ran towards the castle.

 

-“KAGOME!” he yelled and broke down the front gate with a swing of his mighty sword. “I'm coming! Just hold on!” he yelled and ran up the stairs towards the castle doors.

 

 

 

Kagome's head shot up. *Did I just hear Inuyasha?* she thought as she hurriedly stood up and listened more intently.

 

-“I'm coming! Just hold on!”

 

*Yes! I did hear him! He's here to rescue me!* Kagome thought happily as she rushed to the broken window.

 

 

Inuyasha got into the courtyard and saw all the demons flying around. They all turned towards him and started charging towards what they thought was dinner.

 

-“Big mistake!!” Inuyasha yelled and brought the Tetsusaiga to his right. “WIND SCAR!!” He whipped the Tetsusaiga horizontally and unleashed his wind scar, taking out half the demons in the process. He ran towards the next patch of hungry demons and started hacking himself a path through them towards the castle.

 

 

Kagome watched Inuyasha use his wind scar on the demons and advance on the castle. *I've never seen him fight so hard before...* she thought and watched him hack up the remains of Naraku's demon army.

 

-“Kagome!” he called once they were all defeated.

 

-“Inuyasha! I'm in here!” she yelled.

 

Inuyasha turned towards her cell and saw her. A look of relief flooded his face. *She's alive!* he thought as he ran to her window. Kagome stuck her arm out the window, wanting so badly to be with him again. Inuyasha dropped his Tetsusaiga and kneeled so he was face to face with her. He took her hand in his. “I'm so glad you're okay Kagome! I thought Naraku would've killed you!” he exclaimed, trying to keep himself from crying.

 

-“Oh Inuyasha, I'm so glad to see you!” Kagome said happily, letting her tears fall freely.

 

Then, a shadow fell over Kagome's small figure and Inuyasha's eyes widened. Kagome screamed when she felt someone punch her in the back of the head.

 

-“Kagome!” Inuyasha exclaimed and felt her grip on his hand loosen. She fell to the ground and behind her stood none other than, Naraku. “Naraku you bastard! Let Kagome go!” Inuyasha yelled angrily. Naraku bent down and picked Kagome up and turned to walk back out the door. “Wait! Where are you taking her?!” Inuyasha asked frantically.

 

-“Why don't you come see?” Naraku said and left the small room.

 

-“Maybe I will!” Inuyasha exclaimed and picked up his Tetsusaiga.

 

He brought it up over his head and swung it down onto the chamber's wall. He quickly climbed through the hole he had created and ran through the door. There was a long hallway with a door at the end of it. *I'm coming Kagome!* he thought and started to speed down the hallway, sword ready.
