Sango and Miroku announce their engagement, the group stays in Sesshomaru's castle, Sesshomaru leaves to patrol his lands with Jaken, Kagome announces she's pregnant and Kagome/Inuyasha think that Rin and Shippo may like each other.

Author's note: So I was wondering people, how do you like the story so far, how was my first lemon, I'm not good at lemons but I'm sure people would want one and I don't plan on doing another lemon, but definitely limes and other citrus fruits. Alright a little background on the chapter:

Mostly Sango and Miroku, no, no lemons or citrus fruits for now! As for the ages of the people in this story, Rin and Shippo are 12, Sango, Inuyasha and Kagome are 19, Kagura is 22, Kikyo is 21, and Sesshomaru is around 26 or 27.

Newly Engaged

Kagome awoke to see Sesshomaru.

“Good morning” Kagome said.

“Good morning” Sesshomaru repeated. Sesshomaru licked Kagome's neck, lightly brushing his fangs against it.

“What are you doing?” Kagome asked.

“I'm going to mark you, so everyone knows that you're mine” Sesshomaru whispered in her ear. Kagome leaned her neck towards him. Sesshomaru wasted no time biting onto her neck. She gasped a little from the shock and pain. After he was done, he licked at the bite marks.

“Lady Kagome, visitors are here for you” Kagura announced.

“How long have you been awake?” She asked.

“A few hours” Sesshomaru answered.

“Lady Kagome, your guests are waiting” Kagura yelled through the door.

“Coming” Kagome called out.

“We have to go” Kagome whispered.

“This Sesshomaru can have Kagura send them away” Sesshomaru said.

“That'd be rude” Kagome said smugly, and then she smiled. Sesshomaru was already dressed so Kagome went to put on her school uniform.

“Don't you have something more decent to wear” Sesshomaru asked.

“In my time this is decent” Kagome said.

“Kagura, who's here?” Kagome asked.

“A demon slayer” Kagura answered.

“Sango” Kagome exclaimed.

“Kagome” Sango yelled.

“Why are you here, where's the others?” Kagome asked.

“That's why I'm here, I escaped from the others to come see you, and Miroku says he wants to marry me, but I'm just not ready” Sango said.

“IS he going to stop his hentai ways” Kagome asked.

“He said that he would, and now that his curse is over, he doesn't ask every woman to bear his children” Sango replied.

“Well do you love him?” Kagome asked.

“Yes I do” Sango answered.

“Well I'm glad that you've finally found love” Kagome said.

“But I'm not ready to marry” Sango said.

“Well why you don't just be engaged for awhile” Kagome suggested.

“Thanks Kagome” Sango cheered. She didn't feel like going back to the group.

“Hey, what's that on your neck?” Sango asked.

“My mating mark from Sesshomaru” Kagome answered. Sango's fingertips rubbed against it.

“So when are you going to tell Miroku” Kagome asked.

“As soon as I return” Sango answered.

“So what do you want to go Kagome?” Sango asked.

“Well um” Kagome started.

“Kagome” Inuyasha yelled.

“Sango” Miroku yelled.

“Will you two stop yelling? You'll upset Sess” Kagome said.

“Fluffy will be ok Kagome” Inuyasha said.

“Do not call This Sesshomaru `fluffy'” Sesshomaru demanded.

“Sango, have you considered my proposal” Miroku asked.

“I just talked it over with Kagome” Sango answered.

“What did you decide?” Miroku said.

“I decided that we should be engaged” Sango said. Miroku was glad; at least it was the promise of marriage in the future.

Miroku's hand rubbed Sango's rear. Sango didn't whack him.

“The ups to being engaged” Miroku cheered silently. Kagome giggled with glee at the site.

“Inuyasha, what are you doing here?” Kagome asked.

“Miroku needed help finding Kilala and Sango, so I got dragged along” Inuyasha said.

“Oh sorry about that, didn't mean to inconvenience you” Sango said sarcastically.

“Can we stay awhile?” Sango asked.

“Sure” Kagome answered quickly.

“Don't you need to ask Fluffy?” Inuyasha said.

“This Sesshomaru will not be disrespected in his own home” Sesshomaru bellowed.

“No, I do not need to ask Sesshy, this is my home too” Kagome said.

“Kagome, This Sesshomaru's castle is not an inn” Sesshomaru objected.

“Unless you want to be in this castle alone, I suggest you shut up” Kagome said harshly. Sesshomaru wouldn't have any part of that. He held onto her wrist tightly.

“Do not treat This Sesshomaru like that ever again” He said.

“Let her go Sesshy” Inuyasha teased.

“Do not come between this Sesshomaru and his mate ever again” Sesshomaru hissed. Then he went out of the castle to his private gardens, he placed a barrier around himself.

“I was pushing my luck” Kagome said finally.

“Kagura, can you escort them to their rooms, the couple will share a room” Kagome asked.

“Yes Lady Kagome, Lady of the Western lands” Kagura said. Kagome felt so uncomfortable.

`Will all people address me as such? Will I have to address others in that same way?'

Kagome didn't know and didn't want to know, all she wanted to do was be there for Sango and Miroku, it was there moment to shine! Kagome was proud of them, finally getting together. Kagome was walking down the hall when she almost ran into Shippo and Inuyasha.

“Hey you guys” Kagome greeted.

“Kagome, why do you smell different” Shippo asked.

I forgot to take a bath, it's been awhile.

“You smell like Sesshomaru” Inuyasha said.

“Well I live in his castle, I'm with him a lot” Kagome replied.

“Something else makes it different, something that makes it more” Inuyasha insisted.

“Kagome, can I talk to you in private?” Inuyasha asked.

“Sure” Kagome said. They stepped off into an empty room as Shippo walked down the hall to Rin's.

“Did you rut with him?” Inuyasha asked.

“Well… um… uh” Kagome stammered. IT wasn't long before Sesshomaru showed up.

“Do you need something with this Sesshomaru's mate?” Sesshomaru asked.

“I just had a question, but now it's answered” Inuyasha said.

“Yes this Sesshomaru heard, what we do is none of your business” Sesshomaru said firmly.

“So it's true then, you have” Inuyasha said to Kagome.

“It's true, Kagome is This Sesshomaru's mate” Sesshomaru grinned.

“So then she knows?” Inuyasha started.

“Know what?” Kagome asked.

“That you're pregnant” Inuyasha answered calmly.

“Sesshomaru, did you know?” Kagome asked.

“Yes this Sesshomaru knew, but it was not the right time to tell you” Sesshomaru said.

“How did that happen?” Kagome asked. “When this Sesshomaru's…” Kagome cut him off.

“Well I know how but I'm just so young” Kagome said.

“This Sesshomaru was going to tell you after he returned” He stated.

“Where are you going?” Kagome asked.

“To patrol the western lands, This Sesshomaru should be back tomorrow evening” He said swiftly.

“Will I be left alone?” Kagome wondered.

“Rin, Shippo and Kagura will be here” Sesshomaru said.

“Inuyasha will be staying too” Kagome said.

“This Sesshomaru does not want the hanyou here” Sesshomaru argued.

“He is my friend, and I don't want him to leave if you aren't going to be here” Kagome yelled. He saw he wasn't going to win so he decided to stop while he was ahead.

“As long as the monk and demon slayer stay as well” Sesshomaru said.

Kagome smiled widely, all her friends were staying. Kagome needed to tell her friends what was going on. She walked into the library were they were all sitting.

“I have something to tell you” Kagome whispered.

“What is it Kagome?” Shippo asked.

“I'm pregnant” Kagome said. Sango hugged her tightly,

“Congratulations” She said.

“Momma, how did you become pregnant?” Shippo asked.

“I'll tell you once you're older” Kagome smiled.

“Lord Sesshomaru, a member of the wolf gang tribe is here” Jaken announced. Kouga appeared.

“Hi Kagome” Kouga said, taking her hand and kissing it.

“You will refrain from greeting this Sesshomaru's mate in that way, you will address her as Lady Kagome, Lady of the west” Sesshomaru growled

So everyone will be addressing me so formally.

“Lady Kagome, you smell different” Kouga said.

“I'm pregnant” IS all Kagome had to say.

“You mated with Sesshomaru” Kouga exclaimed.

“Yes” Kagome answered.

Kouga slowly shook his head.

“When you get tired of dogs, come to me” Kouga flirted.

Sesshomaru flipped his whip at him to show him how upset he was getting.

“Owww” Kouga yelled.

“Sesshomaru” Kagome hissed. She went over to Kouga.

“Are you alright?” Kagome asked.

“Yes of course” Kouga said.

“Bye Kagome” Kouga said and in a whirl of color, ran out.

“Why did you allow him to kiss your hand” Inuyasha asked.

“Honestly, I'm not sure” Kagome replied.

“Lord Sesshomaru, we must get going” Jaken said.

“Goodbye Sesshy” Kagome whispered, kissing him on the cheek.

“Inuyasha, you better protect her” Sesshomaru said.

“He will and so will I” Shippo said, puffing his chest out.

“Kagome, how long are you going to be pregnant?” Shippo asked.

“I'm not sure” Kagome answered.

“Around 6 months” Inuyasha added in.

“Wow, that's fairly short” Kagome said.

“Well the baby's not human” Inuyasha said.

Kagome went to her room, as she looked through her dresser she realized that her clothes would probably be too small soon, but she didn't want to go home and face her mom.

“Have you seen Rin?” Kagome asked.

“She's with Shippo, after we finished talking they went back to her room” Inuyasha said.

“They've been spending a lot of time together” He added.

“Well they are friends after all” Kagome said.

“But they are in that age where they start to like each other” Inuyasha said.

“Rin isn't going to like Shippo” Kagome insisted.

I wonder if Sesshomaru will get back sooner.

Kagome saw Rin walking down the hall.

“Rin come here” Kagome said. Inuyasha already left.

“Do you like Shippo?” Kagome asked.

“He's a nice friend” Rin said.

“No, do you like him as more than a friend” Kagome asked.

“No” Rin said quickly.

Rin promised Shippo Rin wouldn't tell Kagome or anyone else, they wouldn't understand and they'd probably Lord Sesshomaru, he'd be very upset with Rin.

“Alright Rin, run along now” Kagome said.

Inuyasha heard the whole conversation.

“I asked her” Kagome said.

“She could have been lying, she knows you'll tell Sesshomaru” Inuyasha said.

“How would that matter” Kagome wondered.

“She doesn't want to upset her lord and being with a boy so young, she thinks may do so” Inuyasha explained. IT made logical sense.
