“What type of things?” Ayame pressed, she could sense Inuyasha, Kouga & Sesshomaru outside the door.

 

“Just things” She whispered.

 

“Why are you telling me?” She asked.

 

She was slowly crying. `I wasn't going to say anything but it hurts too badly' she was bawling now.

 

“It's alright” Ayame rubbed her back, “Naraku will suffer for hurting you, I guarantee it” She promised.

 

“I'm going to bed” Kagome whispered.

 

“Do you want someone to take you?” Ayame asked.

 

“Can you? I don't want anyone to see me like this” She asked.

 

“OF course, right this way Lady Kagome” Ayame said.

 

“No, don't call me Lady. I'm just Kagome” She corrected.

 

“Yes…Kagome” she guided her.

 

In her drunken state, she completely missed her mates watching her.

 

“Ayame, please don't tell my mates” Kagome begged.

 

“Why?” Ayame asked.

 

“I don't want to think any less of me” She confessed.

 

“I'm sure they won't, they love you so much” Ayame assured.

 

`Why would we think less of her? What did she do?

 

“Goodnight Kagome” Ayame said.

 

She was already asleep on the bed.

 

“Ayame, that was nice of you” Kouga said.

 

“She is drunk, she won't remember it” Ayame walked off.

 

“Goodnight Lords” Kouga also went off.

 

Sess walked into his room. “I'm staying, I don't want to be far from her” Inuyasha said.

 

Sesshomaru didn't fight him on it. He went to sleep on her left and Inuyasha on his right.

 

Kagome's Dream

 

“Kukuku, foolish Miko. Did you think you could escape me?” Naraku laughed. “You're not here, I'm with my friends, in my castle” She blinked. “I have tapped into your dreams, I won't allow you to awake” He said.

 

Sess could sense her fear & despair. In an attempt to comfort her, he wrapped his arm around here stomach. “You aren't with your mates, It's me cuddling behind you” She could feel the arm.

 

“Let go Naraku. Before I purify you” She shouted. Her aura flared, her body glowing pink. Sess & Inuyasha got burnt.

 

“Stay away from me” She said, creating a huge barrier around the room.

 

“We must get her to wake up” Inuyasha said.

 

“Stroke your mark” Sess ordered. Inuyasha did it.

 

“My mates are trying to get to me, you can't control me anymore” She said; she awoke.

 

`I was in my room, I was safe. Who did I purify?' She let her barrier down.

 

“Mates” She called out.

 

Their sleeve on 1 arm was burnt away. Bad burns marks on them.

 

“I am so sorry, I never meant too…” Kagome couldn't even face them.

 

“What happened in your dream?” Inuyasha asked.

 

“I was back with Naraku, he was trying to hurt me” She recalled.

 

“It's alright now” Sess said.

 

“What about the burns?” She asked.

 

“They'll heal within a day” Sess answered.

 

“Do you think we think less of you?” Inuyasha asked.

 

“What do you mean” She asked.

 

`They must have overheard, Ayame couldn't have told them'

 

“After the rape, do you think that we think less of you?” He clarified.

 

“No, why would you ask that?” Kagome asked.

 

“No reason” He lied.

 

“Do not lie to me, you must have overheard, did anyone else here?” She asked.

 

“Kouga, Jaken & Sesshomaru” He answered.

 

“Great, how everyone knows my business” She huffed.

 

 

“It's no big deal” Inuyasha said.

 

“OF course it's a big deal, baka” She said, “Jaken pack several outfits & pairs of shoes for me & the pups. Have Ah-uh ready to leave by 10 a.m.”
