A/n: Alright 2 more chapters, I'm appreciated all the reviews that I've heard, I love the support my story has been receiving lately, so I wanted to thank all my reviewers for their kind words of advice and it makes me feel so supported. My next story which won't be as long, not even by half will be out soon, hopefully but Sunday, I am so happy right, I really want everyone to read it. It's too early to spill details but I promise it'll be juicy, I pretty much figured out the pairings. Being that I am so generous, I am going to tell you the main pairings right now: Be warned they can be changed! Nar/Kag, Sess/Kag, Inu/Kag (friendship) San/Mir. There may be more lesser ones later in the middle, based on what I've outlined (which can change) It'll be about 10-15 chapters so try to hold on, and yes there will be at least 2-3 chapters a week so it'll last about a month or so.

 

 

Battle with Naraku

 

 

“We need to hide the pups” I said quietly.

 

“Jaken, take the pups to the chamber beneath the house, do not come out until I retrieve you” Sesshomaru said.

 

Kagome wasn't ready to part with the kids but she quickly got over it.

 

“An evil aura is nearing, 2 hours at the most” A passing youkai whispered.

 

“Are you ready?” Inuyasha asked.

 

Kagome didn't feel too comfortable but she said “Yeah I need more arrows though”

 

“Don't rely so much on your arrows, use your powers” Sesshomaru added. His usual mask was on and I couldn't assess his mood. Each of them had 1/3 of the jewel shards on them to protect it from being captured. But they didn't have time to suggest a strategy because Naraku was outside of the castle.

 

 

_______________________________Inuyasha's P.O.V.________________________

 

Naraku that lowly hanyou, as evil as anyone. But to target Kagome, as innocent as she is. I was furious, disgusted, and ashamed. IT was my fault that Naraku got her in the 1st place. I wanted to rip him to shreds with my wind scar but I knew he wouldn't go down so easily.

 

Sesshomaru walked swiftly, Kagome slowly fell in step behind him. I walked beside her, trying to keep her calm.

 

“My delicious miko, where is my pup?” He asked.

 

“It's mine, after all you've done to my family you can't have her”

 

“What did I do?” He asked faking innocence.

 

“You…impregnated me with your child”

 

“Is that all?” He asked

 

“You killed Kagura”

 

“She had to die; she was trying to warn you”

 

“She died…for me” It broke her heart to hear that.

 

“So did Kouga, his love/lust for you made him easy to twist and you actually enjoyed it” Naraku said, glad to watch how broken up she was.

 

“You had Kouga Killed, you killed Kagura, and you tricked me”

 

“Your fate has been in my hands since Inuyasha raped you, the 1st time”

 

“You controlled him?”

 

My blood was boiling, he used me again to hurt another woman I love.

 

“You sadistic bastard, you used Kikyo” I shouted.

 

“And you killed her?” He retorted.

 

“She's not dead” I corrected.

 

“She is; the woman Sesshomaru saw was another reincarnate Keiko, not Kikyo” He corrected me and for once I was speechless.

 

___________________________Sesshomaru's P.O.V. --------------------------------------

 

He played on my mate's emotions revealing truths she couldn't handle, forced her to see reality. My eyes have yet to bleed crimson but I felt myself growing angry along with Inuyasha. Kagome was too sad to feel anything. I had my hand resting by my side, ready to use my energy whip.

 

 

___________________________Kagome's p.o.v________________________________

 

He got me raped & molested, threw Kikyo into the mix, got Inuyasha depressed & almost ruined my marriage. He deserved to be purified & I was ready to do it.

 

“Get away and never come back” I said, almost too calm.

 

“I'm not leaving without my pup” He replied, his stance unchanged.

 

I pushed some of my aura, getting it to flare at him, hoping to change his mind but it didn't.

 

“I can get her on my own” He didn't move, he appeared deep in thought, so I tried to think of happy thoughts to keep him out of my mind.

 

 

_______________________Naraku's P.o.V. ___________________________________

 

`Nouchia cry out to me baby' I coaxed her, `Use your demonic powers'

 

______________________Kagome's P.O.V.___________________________________

 

I heard Nouchia wailing at the top of her lungs. Naraku dashed off at demonic speeds, I couldn't see nothing more than a blur. Inuyasha raced after him, Sesshomaru in front of him. He wanted to steal my pup, he wanted to hurt my family, upset my pack. I was once again, barely containing my powers. I got it down to a manageable level so I ran to find my mates.

 

______________________________Sesshomaru's P.O.V._______________________-

 

This Sesshomaru despises that pup, that creature's offspring but it means the world to Kagome and that's all this Sesshomaru cares abut. I wasn't worried but concerned that the other pups may get hurt.

 

_________________________Naraku's P.O.V._________________________________

 

Running under a bunch of mazes & tunnels was time consuming. But all worth it for my pup & I'll get her to do whatever I want, she won't be in any position to say no.

 

__________________________Pups & Jaken__________________________________-

 

“Get the pup to hush up, she'll alert Naraku” Jaken hissed.

Shippo and Rin tried their best but she wouldn't stop.

 

“Give me my daughter” Naraku said, appearing in front of them.

 

 

___________________________________Normal P.O.V. -------------------------------------

 

They were booking it, but Naraku was still ahead when they got there, it was too late. Naraku had all her pups.

 

“Kagome, you have to come to a decision now; your pups or yourself”

 

Sesshomaru's hand rested on his sword.

 

“Ready to strike, aren't you afraid you'll hit your pup” Naraku mocked.

 

“My pups, I'll give up myself” Kagome said clearly.

 

“You choose to save your pups” Naraku questioned. She nodded.

 

“You'll make a wonderful mother to my 2nd pup” He said smiling.

 

“I will never go against my mates, I won't let you take me again” She snapped at him.

 

“Will you let your children get hurt?” He asked, some miasma coming out of him.

 

“DO NOT HARM MY PUPS” She was so angry. She let go of herself and send a blast of purifying energy at Naraku. It gazed his skin and hit the wall behind him but he did get a slight burn.

 

“You wouldn't hurt me, it could kill Nouchia”

 

“DO NOT SPEAK HER NAME” Kagome screamed, her eyes rolled back in her head, the whites were the only part showing.

 

“I'll leave her alone, if you come with me”

 

Kagome regained her control.

 

`Fine but you grab me first'

 

He walked over to her, because she was in front of her mates. He wrapped around her waist.

 

`Did she turn her back on this Sesshomaru?'

 

She erected a barrier around herself & Naraku.

 

“You don't know how long I've wanted this” Naraku said softly.

 

“You don't know how long I've wanted to be this close to you” She replied, smiling widely.

 

He captured his mouth, his hands groping her ass. She broke apart from him, still tightly wrapped in his arms.

 

“Rot in hell you bastard” She let all her pined up energy go and purified him to ashes. The barrier protecting her mates and pups from being purified. Then she promptly fainted, her barrier dropped.

 

________________________________The dead_______________________________

 

“She killed him, she defeated him after all these years, she can live with her pups in peace, and I can rest in peace”

 

“Sorry you can't” Kouga whispered.

 

“Why not wolf? She killed my mates, she knows of my death, she mourned my loss, my body is properly buried…what's wrong?” She asked.

 

“Your heart is still kept safe somewhere, it needs to be stopped before you can rest” He answered.
