Epilogue

 

 

2 days later…

 

“IS momma alright?” Rin asked

“Of course Rin, she is just sleeping” Shippo said confidently. They both left the room for lunch.

 

Everyone was waiting. Naraku's shards were carefully collected by Rin & put with the other ones. Sesshomaru was worried, it had been 2 days and her condition hadn't changed, but Inuyasha was upset, he just learned Kagome liked Kouga's touch and then she let Naraku feel on her.

 

“Mate” She mumbled.

 

“Mate” Sesshomaru answered, relieved to hear her speaking. However, Inuyasha didn't answer.

 

“Inuyasha?” She called for him.

 

“I'm here” He answered dryly.

 

She could feel how upset he was “Are you mad…at me?” She asked softly.

 

He didn't answer her. She remember the battle, how Naraku touched on her, how he told them about the incident with Kouga.

 

“I'm sorry” She whispered.

 

“Don't be; I'm the sorry one, thinking you'd be faithful” He stormed from the room.

 

Sesshomaru moved to get him but Kagome had a tight grip on his arm.

 

“Don't, please stay” She begged, too weak to say more. Sesshomaru pulled her into his lap, just glad she was alright.

 

Once she fell asleep, Sesshomaru went to find Inuyasha.

 

“Do not upset our mate with your foolishness” He growled.

 

“You mate touched Naraku, let Kouga touch her. She is nothing more than a commongirl”

 

Sesshomaru's eyes turned a slight pink “do not call her a commongirl”

 

“Stop, Inuyasha is right. I wanted Kouga's touches; I dishonored both of you” She lowered her head.

 

“It's not your fault” Sesshomaru said.

 

“No, it is. I liked it; I am nothing more than a commongirl”

 

“Kagome, I want to know why” Inuyasha demanded.

 

“I was upset, I was lonely, I felt unwanted, I needed to be fulfilled, and he was willing to do it”

 

“Do you like Kouga? Did you ever?” Inuyasha questioned.

 

“No, I never have felt anything for Kouga. He was purely a friend” She answered truthfully.

 

“You purified him?”

 

“He wouldn't stop, I knew it was wrong and I asked him repeatedly to stop but he didn't”

 

“Did you cum from it? Did he make you feel better? Did you have sex with him? Did you like it?” Inuyasha was too angry to stop.

 

She was in too much shock to answer, `He thinks that I had sex with Kouga, that I cummed from him. I've never done that, the only people who can do that are my mates. I didn't like him, I actually felt worse'

 

“Answer me now, did you cum from it?”

 

“Do not question her like that, she does not have to answer” Sesshomaru stepped in.

 

“I didn't” she whispered.

“Then exactly what happened?” He questioned, still mad.

 

“He took me to a hot spring; he left me alone so I stripped down and got in. A few minutes later he came in naked, he tried to get me but I tried to escape, he ended up pushing me up against a rock, he felt on my breast. I begged for him to stop and he did. But before I could get away he had me back against the rocks, suckling my breasts, he was going to attack me so I purified him” She was still crying, but those silent tears you get sometimes.

 

Now Inuyasha felt guilty. “I'm sorry, I thought…”

 

Kagome cut him off. “You thought I was some commongirl* who rutted around” She turned and left, too upset to say anything else.

 

As she walked down the hall she ran into Rin.

 

“Hey Rin”

 

“Are you on your way to purify the jewel shards?” Rin asked.

 

Kagome had completely forgotten them. She hurried in the direction that she felt them. They were hidden under the tunnels. She touched the jewel, it was whole again. It didn't taint when she touched it but it was instantly purified. `I have to make my wish'

 

“Kagome” Inuyasha called.

 

“Inuyasha” She said.

 

“I'm sorry, I was stupid to think you'd betray me” He looked away while he said the last part.

 

“Do you trust me?” She asked.

 

“I do, I was foolish to doubt you and I'm sorry”

 

“You should be, but I forgive you' she said calmly.

 

“What are you going to wish for?” He asked, eyeing the jewel.

 

“I'm not sure” She held the jewel tightly in her hands.

 

`I want to help everyone who suffered because of Naraku, to make everything right in the world. TO make it where no one is in pain because of him. But it can't be selfish, it can't benefit me but if I make a wish to help everyone, it'd help Kagura & Kouga which would be selfish, I can't decide'

 

`I wish the world was back to the way it should be, before Naraku became evil and made people suffer'

 

“Then It shall be done' A voice said, mysteriously knowing her dream.

 

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Intermission~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~

 

The voice is the miko in the jewel ((I forgot her name)) Commongirl= A whore or a slut. Now this is going to skip 8 years. Kagome is 29, Nouchia is 8, Kashia is 11, Jiro is 7, Miroku is 28, Rin is 21 and Shippo is 22.

 

 

“It's been 5 years” Kouga said.

 

“Good to see you again Kouga”

 

“MY mate should be coming any minute now”

 

“I'm here” Kagura arrived with Jiro on her flower.

 

“It's almost time for the wedding” Nouchia & Kashia yelled, they were both the flower girls. Jiro was the ring bearer.

 

“Do you Shippo take Rin as your lawfully wedded wife?” Miroku asked

 

“I do” He said proudly

 

“And do you Rin take Shippo as your lawfully wedded husband” Miroku asked.

 

“I do” She smiled at Shippo.

 

“I now pronounce you Kitsune & Wife, you may kiss the bride”

 

Shippo turned to Rin and leaned in to kiss her but once he felt Sesshomaru's aura, he just kissed her cheek.

 

“Sesshy, stop scaring him, it was you who allowed them to marry” Kagome whispered, glad to see her adopted son and her step-daughter getting married.

 

*Flashback*

 

“Dad, Shippo has something to ask you” Rin whispered.

 

“Go ahead” Sesshomaru urged.

 

“Dad, I am here to ask for your blessing, I want to take Rin's hand in marriage” Shippo asked.

 

“She is not to marry yet, she is barely 21 summers”

 

“Yes but I love her very much and we've been courting for awhile”

 

Sesshomaru's eyes turned pink.

 

“Dad we asked mom's permission” Rin added.

 

He calmed slightly.

 

“I will not…”

 

{You better say yes, they've been courting a long time & they really care for each other, if you say no, be prepared to sleep alone tonight, I'll be with Inuyasha}

 

`I give my blessings to the marriage”

 

Rin & Shippo jumped for joy.

 

*End*

 

“Only because you threatened me with an empty bed” He whispered back, watching his 2 kids eat at the feast.
