InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Kagome's Realization ❯ NOTE ( Chapter 40 )

I got a request for an update on my gma, so I'm going to post a note for all are interested. So sorry to anyone who was thinking this was a chapter update. I wish it was too, I've been having some writers block with Kagome's Realization. I've been trying to punch through it by writing other things, not sure if any of you have read my Misao and Aoshi fic and I'm working on a one shot for an episode of teen titans (I've taken a liking to that show).

 

And here is the update: I am leaving tomorrow night to go and spend the weekend at my gma's (a six hour drive) she's doing better now than we originally planned this trip but last Wednesday after dialysis my gma was very unsteady on her feet and she feel going into her house. Thursday she woke up and her back had gone out on her because of the fall the day before. She took medicine that she has when such things happen. She took a pain patch that caused a reaction and made her oxygen level drop and she ended up hospitialized over the weekend and suffered from delirium for the past four days. She is finally doing better but she is back to square one in her general condition. She's been struggling to keep her B/P under control and she goes back and forth with having good and bad days due to the diaylsis.

 

She's been at the point where she can make it short distances with a cane and be okay but she can no longer cook for herself, or clean house for herself (cleaning like sweeping or moping.) and now she is even weaker than that. Sleeping in her hospital bed in the living room and on an oxygen tank 24 hours a day. She came close to dropping to brain damage level with her oxygen. My brother, his girlfriend, and my niece are going to travel tomorrow to see her. We'll be gone just for the weekend.

 

My mother can't go, its her mom, because she had another heart cathater today because she was having chest pains and pressure. There was blockage around the stint that they placed in June so they placed two more and want her to repeat the procedure for two more in a month. She won't be home till tomorrow.

 

So........ it's just been one of those weeks. Hopefully everything will smoothly work itself out. That is my wish, at least. I appreciate all of the prayers and good wishes that you, my readers, have offered on behalf of not only my gma but my father and my mother as well. You are all very sweet and I appreciate you so very much. More than just for reading my fic, though I love you for that too. I hope your patience for the next Kagome's Realization chapter holds out because I'm not sure when its going to be done. I've been working on it. And I hope you don't hate me for writing other fics. My friend, Ai, who is a huge fan of K's Realization is urging me to continue and finish my one shot for Teen Titans. For that fic if you are not a fan of limes and lemons, please do not read it lol :).
