Back at Lady Kaete's village: Lady Kaete says "Kykio I have had my suspicion about who has kidnapped Kagome. I figure that since there were shards of the Shekon no Tama and poisonous insects around the battle scene that Naraku is responsible for the kidnapping of Kagome. Is my reasoning correct?" Kykio responds "Yes, you are right but I suspect that since I have not been to the castle today that he has called for some help" Inuyasha interrupts "Is Kagome ok, please tell me I have to know she's she's" Kykio responds "She is probably fine. (Inuyasha lets out a sigh of relief) from what I have heard in his conversations with others Naraku wants you first and then he'll probably kill Kagome or make her his sex slave but I doubt he will keep her alive because of her Miko powers. They are so strong look what happened the last time she hit him with an arrow he had to get another body. Plus her Miko powers will only get stronger as she gets older. Besides I don't think that she would cooperate with him anyways. Inuyasha when we go to get her you must win or lose yours and her life." Inuyasha responds "I will win and save Kagome I still have to tell her about my feelings and see if she feels the same way about me as I do her. I must have her back she is mine all mine and no one else's. I want her to live a normal life well as normal as it can get for her." Myroku says " Inuyasha this will not be an easy task for us to fulfill. Naraku will not be an easy foe and who else knows who Naraku has waiting for us when we get there. I think that we should go but keep in mind" Inuyasha interrupts "who cares what you think alls I know is that I have to save Kagome" Now Myroku interrupts "But we must keep in mind who is better suited to fight Naraku" Inuyasha gets a puzzled look on his face and responds "I am better suited to fight Naraku and it is my responsibility an nobody else's to save Kagome I was supposed to protect her but failed so now I must prove to Kagome I can still protect her I must win her trust back" Sango interrupts and says "but I have to avenge my family and village" Inuyasha interrupts her and says "I know and Myroku must kill Naraku to get rid of his wind tunnel. But you have to admit that Myroku couldn't take Naraku with those insects around and while you are a good fighter you are not strong enough to take his poison or fast enough to keep up with him. I may not be as fast as him but I am a lot stronger and less vulnerable to his poison and attacks. It is natural that I fight him" Kykio says "I hate to admit it but he is right. Inuyasha is the only one who can take Naraku on and have a chance at defeating him. But the only way Inuyasha will be able to kill him is if Kagome wants him to rescue her. You see Kagome has a a like a key to his power with her he always fights harder to prove himself to Kagome and she responds to that. Without her he can't fight to his true potential. Inuyasha's and Kagome's hearts must be locked and fell each others feelings only then can they defeat Naraku. Her feelings are a stimulant for Inuyasha to fight harder." "Well it would make sence you would fight harder for a "friend" than someone you don't know." Inuyasha gave a growl showing he was unpleased with Sango choice of word. Then Inuyasha began to think about what had been said he couldn't believe what his ears were telling him "That wench did all that for me and I didn't even know it. I loved her but was really mean to her to cover that fact up. Kagome was always there for me even when I pissed her off. She would tend to my wounds after a fierce battle and I would treat her like shit. Well all of that is going to change. I am going to rescue Kagome and then show her that I can be there for her as she was for me." "So what are we going to do Kykio I hate to admit it but you have better knowledge of the situation we are in and where he has Kagome prisoner, but I will have final say in what we do" asked a tense Inuyasha. Kykio responds " Yes I do know where Kagome is held but I will not be fighting unless need be. I will accompany you there and keep you out of the traps. Now this is what we will do Shippou you will have to stay here." Shippou whines then says "Why" in a tone that gets a look of disapproval from Inuyasha. Kykio responds " You are too young and would only get in the way. Your not fully in control of all your powers yet not to mention they aren't nearly strong enough to go into this battle most likely if you fought in this battle you would die" Shippou just pouts. Kykio goes on with her plan "Sango you and Myroku will work as a team when we get thereto defeat any demons that come are way. Inuyasha you will only fight if you are really needed. I am saving you for Naraku But first we must walk through the forest towards his castle it is a half a days walk to the west. Now if he has a strong demon I will fight but then and only then will I fight. I must stress that this is your battle not mine and it should stay that way." Inuyasha says "Ok that sounds like a good plan we will head out first thing in the morning to save Kagome and defeat Naraku and anyone else who dares to cross us." Inuyasha thinks to himself.
" I hope she is waiting for me I said some things that I ought not to have said before she was taken from me I never had a chance to say I was sorry for saying all those mean things to her in the past. But what am I really worried about? I think I know now will she accept my feelings for her or will she just reject me like the rest of the world did to me. I will save Kagome and then tell her my feelings no matter how difficult or how much I will hurt. I hope she agrees to be my mate. But I must save her first" Sango and Myroku go off to talk and Kykio goes to talk with her sister. Inuyasha goes to his tree and goes up to think. " I have always wondered what it would be like to mate Kagome and to confess my love to her."
