Kagome where are you
chapter 55 Star Wars . . .
Hmmm . . . oddly enough, there were reviewers that did not
recognize that this world is from the Star Wars movies.
Ahh, for the Star Wars fans out there. Please note that Kagome is
NOT a star wars fanatic so. . . . she may not be always correct
in her info. And, if I need to change something for my story, I
will. So, things might be different in this story, then in the
movie.
from chapter 53
Kagome's first impression is trees . . .
They appeared with meters off a huge tree. It makes the god tree
back home seem small.
Kagome and Sesshomaru slowly back away, and look up. "It must be
hundreds of meters talk." Kagome whispers in an awed tone. "Like
the redwoods in California . . . beautiful . . . "
Sesshomaru, while his mate is entranced by the forest of huge
trees, turns around and looks for trouble.
He frowns. ‘That doesn't look right.' He thinks.
He taps Kagome on her shoulder and points. "Do you have any idea
what that is?"
Kagome turns around and stares . . .
"A Death Star . . . "
Hanging above them in the sky is a partially completed Death Star
. . .
"We're on Endor." Kagome whispers.
"Endor?" Sesshomaru asks.
"Endor is the name of a planet, Sesshomaru. The planet is from
one of the movies that I've seen."
Sesshomaru slowly nods, "Ahh, And a movie is that special type of
play, that you've explained about. The same thing that human
female from earlier was going on and on about it."
Kagome smiles, ‘he's not going to use Ginger's name.' She thinks.
She nods. "Yes. Now. It's been awhile since I saw it. One of
Sota's friends loves the movies and I've seen them, oh, a couple
of times."
Sesshomaru asks in a dry voice, "Your assumption is that we are
in the same universe as that movie and things will happen to us,
as it happened in that play?"
Kagome nods. "I think so."
He purses his lips, "A good enough plan." He pauses, "In that
case, since this is not home, where can we go to avoid any
problems, so, in a couple of days, we can leave this world and
try again with a new world."
Kagome glares at Sesshomaru. She puts her hands on hips,
"Sesshomaru. We're going to find Luke, Leia, Han and the others."
Sesshomaru raises his eyebrows, "And doing that helps us get
home, how?"
Kagome opens her mouth, then closes it. Her eyes light up as she
says, "Luke is a JEDI knight with powers similar to ours, his
training might help."
Sesshomaru grunts, unimpressed with that argument.
"And Sesshomaru, they have computers with a lot of language
skills. One of the characters C3-PO, I think, is supposed to
speak six million different languages."
Sesshomaru nods. "And you're hoping that he might be able to read
the cube?"
Kagome shrugs, "I don't know. I do know that it's a chance and
can we ignore it?"
A pause.
Sesshomaru grinds his teeth. "You're right. I just." He shakes
his head, "that just feels too easy."
Kagome steps close to him and he wrap an arm around his waist and
rest her head against his chest. "And maybe we're due for
something easy?" she whispers.
"We did. That vacation was it, I'm sure." Sesshomaru replies.
"Now, it's going to get harder, my dear." His arm wraps around
her shoulders.
Kagome sighs, "I can dream, can't I?"
"Of course, my love, Just remember it is a dream."
A pause as they stand there, Kagome's arm around his waist, his
arm around her shoulders. His tail wraps around her as well.
"What direction?" Sesshomaru asks.
Kagome looks up at the Death Star. "I don't know. It doesn't look
exactly like I remember, but it's been awhile, so that doesn't
mean much."
She looks at Sesshomaru, "you and the professor did talk a lot
about the radio and such?"
Sesshomaru looks down, "Yes. The exercises he gave me to improve
my senses will come in handy." He pauses, "You want me to see
what I can find out?"
She nods.
Sesshomaru looks around, "I never could decipher those . . . he
called them signals. So, I don't know how helpful I'll be."
"Can you track them back to their source, and maybe give us a
direction to go?"
Sesshomaru nods. He releases Kagome and starts to slowly walk in
a large circle in the middle of the clearing. His face is showing
the tremendous concentration it takes to sense radio waves.
He stops. He points in one direction. "In that direction is the
strongest source. And it is giving off radio waves of many
different . . . " He pauses, trying to find the right word.
HE shakes his head, ‘using my senses like this. Everything is
sooo strange. Normal words don't really apply.' He thinks.
Kagome looks in that direction and nods. "It'll probably be best
if we walk, Sesshomaru."
Sesshomaru shrugs, exactly how they travel, isn't important to
him.
"Oh yes, before I forget." Kagome says, "There is in intelligent
species on this planet. They are called Ewoks." She pauses.
"Think of them as dwarf bears with human hands."
Sesshomaru nods. "Powerful?" he asks.
Kagome shakes her head, no. "Not individually. As a group, they
seemed very good. In the final fight they were great!" she
smiles.
She looks up and down Sesshomaru's body, and she comments,
"Against you? I'd say pretty much like humans."
He nods, "Anything else I need to be aware of?"
Kagome nods. "Yes, Imperial storm troopers. They are humans in
white and black armor. The armor is plastic, I think, it is a
harder version of the material that the ramen food was in,
remember that?" she asks.
He nods. "That type of odor?"
Kagome shrugs, "I think so."
Kagome grabs her submachine gun and makes sure that it is ready
for use. "And they'll have weapons that look similar to these,
but they shot bolts of light, that look a lot like my arrows."
Sesshomaru raises his eyebrows, "dangerous?" he asks.
Kagome nods. "Yes. The bolts of light are dangerous." She smiles,
"but, storm troopers aiming ability is a joke, a bad joke."
Sesshomaru nods.
"And there will be a group of humans. They will be wearing . . .
" Kagome pauses as she remembers the movie, "green and brown
splotched clothing. Like if someone tried to paint a very leafy
forest on the clothes."
Sesshomaru raises his eyebrows, but accepts that description.
"And that with that group will be two . . . " she pauses,
finding the right words, "metal beings. One looks like a man, but
dressed in very form-fitting golden armor and the other like a
moving tree stump, with a rounded top, but he is metal, not
wood."
"Odd."
"R2-D2 is an odd being." Kagome replies. She smiles, "but, he's
probably the wisest in the group."
Sesshomaru raises an eyebrow at that statement. "Anything else?"
Kagome purses her lips and shrugs, "not really. The Ewoks, will
probably have some scouts out and your senses should detect them
and the imperial storm troopers will be scattered about the
forest. Your senses should detect them, as well."
Sesshomaru nods, "Then, let's go." He walks in the direction of
the strongest radio source.
Kagome follows, "Ah, yes, Sesshomaru the place that we're going
toward is going to be heavily guarded by the storm troopers, so
we might have to change plans or directions before we reach it."
He nods as he continues to walk in that direction.
Kagome follows beside him. One hand reaches out and finds his, so
they can walk holding hands. The other hand reaches around and
pats the machine gun.
Later . . .
Sesshomaru squeezes Kagome's hand and instantly moves both of
them behind a large tree trunk. He whispers in her ears, "Off to
our right, about a bow shot away, humans are talking."
"Can you understand them?" Kagome whispers.
"Yes, the song of language still works. They are complaining
about being bored, out in this forest anyway from everyone.
Something about watching out for rebels?"
She nods, "imperial storm troopers, I'm sure." She pauses, "We
need to take them out."
Sesshomaru raises his eyebrow, "You want to aggressively attack
them?"
Kagome nods.
Sesshomaru smiles, "you know that we can't care for or watch
prisoners, correct?"
She grimaces, but nods again.
"Interesting." He mummers. He grins, "very well. It's only two
humans." He looks at her, "And it'll provide additional training
for you."
"Huh?"
"We practiced on the island similar scenarios, since you want
them dead, you can sneak up and kill them. I'll help, if you get
into trouble, but, since this something you want to do, so you'll
do it."
Kagome swallows hard. She looks down at the ground and kicks the
tree. She looks at Sesshomaru. He is staring back at her, with
no emotions in his eyes.
She slumps down, straightens herself up and points to the right.
"That large tree in distance, they are at it, right?"
Sesshomaru looks at the tree. "Yes, somewhere at the base, I'm
too far away to be sure, but, I think they are this side of it."
Kagome nods. Her clothing changes into a military style
camouflage clothing. "Sesshomaru, this type of outfit is what I
was talking about earlier."
He nods.
Kagome pulls starts to grab her machine gun, but then she stops.
‘I promised Jaa Kalpa that I'd use him whenever I could. And his
cold wave is useful.'
She pulls Jaa Kalpa out. *be ready.*
*I will.* he communicates back.
A few minutes later after Kagome has snuck around, she can see
the two Imperial storm troopers. They are sitting around a fire,
cooking something. They are talking to each other, Kagome can
hear them talking about how idiotic their orders are, that no one
is out here in this forest.
Their flying speeder bikes are hoovering next to them.
Kagome grips Jaa Kalpa.
‘Should I do this?' She thinks, ‘maybe these two are two of the
scouts that Luke and Leia meet. So, if we attack? Does that
change things?'
She flicks her eyes to the right, only her mystic senses allow
her to keep track of Sesshomaru. ‘And if I back out, especially
since I was all for attacking . . . ' She grimaces, ‘let's do
it.'
She crawls on her belly, closer to them. They are not paying
attention.
She stands up, quickly.
They stare at her and then, as they start to draw their weapons,
Kagome swings her sword.
A wave of cold engulfs the two storm troopers . . .
The fire is out. The two frozen human statues fall to the ground
and break apart.
Both speeder bikes fall to the ground as well. They are not
protected against severe cold and froze.
Kagome walks forward.
Sesshomaru appears next to her.
She jumps, a meter in the air, in fright, "you scared me!" she
cries.
"Adequate." Sesshomaru says as he looks around. "However, they
weren't real soldiers, so that wasn't a test."
Kagome breathes in and out, trying to calm down. "Let's see what
we can find." She says as she walks past him.
She picks up one of their blaster pistols, then drops it. "It's
still cold." She squeezes her hand a couple of times, to warm it
up.
Sesshomaru looks around the camp and picks up and examines
things. "The cold destroyed many of their items. And the ones it
didn't . . . the language that they use . . . I don't know it."
Kagome nods. "Yes, the song of the language is only for spoken,
not written languages."
They poke around the campsite for a few minutes, but find nothing
really useable. What wasn't damaged by the cold, requires them to
understand the symbols written on the objects.
Sesshomaru, as he is easily punching through the black and white
armor of the storm trooper, stops and looks off to the left.
‘Weak armor, pathetic.' He thinks.
"Sesshomaru?" Kagome whispers, she can feel him tense up.
His nostrils expand. "Visitors, Kagome. Not human. Leather and
fur, no perfumes. Very light on their feet." HE whispers.
His eyes scan the area as he turns slowly around. "Very good.
They are all around us. The group that I'm downwind of waited
until the others surrounded us, before they closed in."
"Then they are probably Ewoks, Sesshomaru. And they seemed
friendly enough, so." Kagome whispers back.
She walks away from him, her arms spread wide, as she yells into
the woods, "we're friends! I don't like the men in the black and
white armor!"
A pause . . .
A furry being, about waist high to Kagome, maybe a little over,
walks out from some bushes. He is unarmed. He stands about
fifteen to twenty meters from her. Sesshomaru is a few meters
behind Kagome.
"Friends?" He calls. "The tall ones like you are not our friends!
They kill us, for sport!"
"I'm not like that!" Kagome says back. "I don't kill!"
One of the speeder bikes metal frames' pops as the cold finally
broke it.
She blushes, "oppps. Sorry, I don't kill for sport!"
"And I am not human." Sesshomaru adds in.
The Ewok looks at Sesshomaru. Sesshomaru is wearing his
traditional clothes, with his tail wrapped around his shoulder,
like normal.
"I want to be friends, please." Kagome says in a soft tone. "I
can help you with these." She waves her hands at the dead storm
troopers.
Another Ewok comes out of the bushes and the two Ewoks begin to
whisper back and forth between them.
Sesshomaru steps up to Kagome and whispers, "They are saying that
a Chief Chirpa, a neighboring tribal chief, I think from their
tone, has sent out word that all the tribes need to band together
and fight the humans."
Kagome nods. "Yes, In the movie, the Ewoks do band together to
fight the empire."
Sesshomaru grunts, "these two are part of a company of fighters
that are going to the village of this Chief Chirpa to maybe help,
maybe not help. They are arguing about that."
Kagome nods, "Sesshomaru, I want you to try something that they
did in the movie."
He raises his eyebrow in a silent question.
"Just fly around, a couple of meters off the ground. In the movie
that proved to be very convincing."
Sesshomaru nods. "Why do not you try?"
"Sesshomaru!" Kagome hisses, "I can't fly!"
"The power is there, Miko Higurashi Kagome, but, since you
haven't been trained to fly, yet." HE pauses. Kagome shivers, as
she guesses about what some of her next lessons will be.
"I will do it." Sesshomaru declares. He steps back away from
Kagome and raises a body length in the air.
A couple of dozen Ewoks suddenly appear from the bushes
surrounding Sesshomaru and Kagome. They all converge on the first
two Ewoks and a loud argument break out between them.
Sesshomaru lands and stands next to Kagome.
After a few minutes of arguing, the first Ewok, steps away from
the group of Ewoks and says, "I am Paploo."
"I am Kagome."
"I am the lord of the western lands, Sesshomaru."
"We are going to fight the evil black and white skinned
creatures. You will come along?"
Kagome nods. Sesshomaru stands there, without changing
expression. "He'll come." Kagome says, after a pause, as she
realizes that he's not going to say a word.
Paploo nods. "Let's go." He points off to the left, and he starts
to walk that way.
Kagome nods and follows him. Sesshomaru follows her. His eyebrows
rise as his senses tell him, exactly how many Ewoks are around
them. He thinks, ‘Very, very good. Many more than I thought that
there was. These beings do know about woodcraft and hiding in the
woods.'
Kagome, after a while, realizes that it wasn't a couple of dozen
Ewoks, but a couple of hundred that they meet.
Later . . . night has fallen . . .
Paploo and the group of Ewoks approach a grove of huge trees.
High in the branches' Sesshomaru points out to Kagome, houses,
pathways, lights. The Ewoks live high in the trees.
Kagome looks at the spiral staircase that the Ewoks are beginning
to walk up. She sighs, and thinks, ‘Once upon a time, I could NOT
climb those stairs. It'll be like walking up the Tokyo tower
staircase. Now . . . ' She smiles, ‘even the fact that the
protection railing is small, too small for safety really, and
it's at night. This is just a climb, nothing special.'
Sesshomaru looks at Kagome as he follows her up the stairs. ‘She
isn't even asking me to fly her up these stairs.' He thinks, ‘I
knew that there were reasons why I feel in love with her.'
At the top of the stairs . . .
Inside the hut of the chief Chirpa.
C3-PO says, "We are now part of the tribe."
"Just what I've always wanted." Han Solo says sarcastically.
"The chief has vowed to help us in any way to rid their lands of
the evil ones." C3-PO says, ignoring Han's sarcasm.
Luke, who has been slowly moving toward the doorway, stops. His
brow furrows and his attention are directed outside the hut.
He quickly moves outside the hut and looks down.
Leia, smiling slightly as Han begins to ask the Chief about what
type of help the Ewoks can provide, as he acts as the captain of
the expedition, follows Luke outside the hut.
"Luke?"
"Someone, no. Two beings are approaching, Leia." He says in a low
voice. He points down at the stairs.
Sesshomaru height and pure white hair are easy too spot. Kagome
is walking in front of him, and her height, as she towers over
the Ewoks makes her easy to see, as well.
"Who are they?" Leia asks. "Imperials?"
Luke shakes his head. "I don't know, Leia. The white-haired man .
. . he feels like Darth Vader . . . then, again, he doesn't.
The woman, the force is with her, powerfully."
"Jedi?" Leia replies, "but you're the last." She states in a
puzzled tone.
Luke shakes his head, "Not Jedi, I'm sure of that, but, both of
them are powerful."
"Hey Luke!" Han Solo comes out of the hut, "these guys are going
to show the way to the shield generator . . . " HE looks at Luke
and Leia and notices that their attention is below.
He walks to the edge and looks down. "Company?" He says as he
frowns.
‘Something . . . about the white-haired guy, is giving me the
creeps.' He thinks.
Chewbacca, C3-PO, R2-D2 and the Ewoks leave the hut and wait for
the new group of Ewoks to join them.
A few minutes later . . .
Paploo and the Ewoks that followed him and the chief Chirpa and
the Ewoks of the village meet and greet each other with large
displays of affection and friendship.
Paploo quickly joins his forces with the forces of the village.
"And, as we came here," Paploo explains as he points to
Sesshomaru and Kagome, who have been standing back waiting to be
introduced. "We found them, after they killed a couple of the
black and white armored ones."
Kagome calmly walks forward, with Sesshomaru following her, bows
to Chief Chirpa and bows to Luke, Leia, Han Solo and the others.
"I am Higurashi Kagome."
Sesshomaru doesn't bow.
She taps Sesshomaru arm, "My consort is Sesshomaru, the lord of
the Western Lands."
Chief Chirpa introduces himself.
"Wait, one second!" Leia interrupts as Han Solo was about to
introduce himself.
Everyone looks at her.
"How?" Leia begins to say, "How did the Chief Chirpa understand
you, and I understand you, when you only spook once and you
didn't speak Ewok."
Kagome bows to her, "Princess Leia,"
Leia narrows her eyes as she thinks, ‘How did she know my name?'
Kagome continues speaking, "I have," she grimaces as she pauses,
trying to find the right words, "I suppose you'd call them force-
related abilities. And one of them is that I can speak various
languages, when I wish to."
Luke nods, "I can sense the power that hovers around you, and
him."
Sesshomaru, finally looks at Luke intensely, then returns to
ignoring everyone.
"How did you know my name?" Leia demands.
Kagome purses her lips and blushes. She opens her mouth, then
closes it. ‘How do I explain this?'
All the star wars characters looks at Leia, then they look at
Kagome, as they understand why Leia asked the question.
Kagome slowly begins to speak, "My background." She licks her
lips, "My background allows me access to special knowledge,
Princess Leia."
She nods to the rest of the people watching her, "I know you're
names. Luke Skywalker, Jedi Knight. Han Solo, one of the best
pilots that there is."
Luke and Han share a wide-eyed glance.
She conceals a grin, ‘I'm not going to mention the stuffed
Chewbacca toy, that Sota has.'
"Chewbacca, Han Solo's faithful friend. And the droids, R2-D2 and
C3-PO."
Chewbacca grunts and grips his crossbow, harder. C3-PO and R2-D2
share some electronic beeps.
Sesshomaru suppresses a growl, ‘that language spell, it finally
came up against something that it can't translate. I didn't
understand that. And the smells from those things that she called
droids . . . ' he thinks.
Kagome pauses, then smiles, "But, my knowledge isn't perfect,
Princess Leia, I can't remember the name of the planet you're
from. Although, I do know that it was destroyed by the first
Death Star."
"Alderaan" Leia says in a distracted tone. "Special knowledge?"
she growls.
Kagome licks her lips, "That's the easiest explanation,
Princess." She bows to Leia, "Please, accept that explanation and
please understand that I fully intend to use my special knowledge
to help you and your mission here on Endor."
Han Solo interrupts, "We're not on Endor." HE points up the huge
gas giant planet that is hanging the sky above the Death Star.
"That's Endor. We're on a moon of Endor."
Kagome looks up. "Oh." She blushes, "Sorry. I said that my
knowledge is spotty."
"And what do you know about our mission?" Leia growls at Kagome.
Kagome swallows, "you're here to destroy the shield generator."
She points to the incomplete Death Star. "That will allow your
warships to destroy that."
Sesshomaru looks at the Death Star. "They are going to destroy
that?" HE asks Kagome.
Kagome nods. ‘AH . . . the destruction is the future, now. So .
. . how do I say this?' She thinks during a small pause.
‘Without giving away the future?'
"That is their plan, Sesshomaru." She pauses again, "And, while
no plan works perfectly, I do believe that their plan will work
out in the end."
Leia, Luke and Han share a glance.
Han Solo steps forward as he growls, "How do you know that?" his
hand, in an unconscious gesture goes down to his pistol.
Kagome gives him a small smile, "I'm sorry, Han Solo, but, I
can't tell you. If I tell you, something very bad might happen."
Leia shakes her head, "This is the most important mission that
the rebellion has started since the destruction of the first
Death Star. As a senior member of the rebellion, I must know
where the information leaked from."
Kagome, licks her lips, "I'm sorry, Princess Leia, but I can't
tell you."
Leia steps forward, standing next to Han Solo.
Sesshomaru moves closer to Kagome. His hand rests on Tokijin's
hilt.
"But," Kagome continues, "I can tell you that your security is
fine. I didn't learn it from a leak." Her eyes flick to Luke.
Luke moves up behind Leia and Han, he places a hand on their
shoulders, "I believe her." He says.
Han Solo and Leia spin around, Han Solo, a split second before
Leia asks, "You're sure, Luke?"
Luke nods.
Han Solo spins around, "Ok, I don't like that explanation, but.
Since Luke says it's Ok . . . " He stares at Kagome. "Very well,
exactly how can you help us?"
Kagome pauses, she glances at Sesshomaru.
He raises his eyebrows and states in a cold, and clear voice,
"Miko Higurashi Kagome exactly why should the Lord of the Western
lands, Sesshomaru, become involved in a petty human problem?"
"Petty!" Leia cries, interrupting everyone.
Sesshomaru glances at her, "Petty. This fight will not get us
home. Nor has this ‘empire' done anything to this Sesshomaru or
to you, Higurashi Kagome."
"They're evil, Sesshomaru." Kagome spins on Sesshomaru, her hands
gong to her hips, as she glares at him.
"Define evil." Sesshomaru replies. "Earlier today, you killed in
cold two humans that where not harming anyone. Was that not
evil?"
Kagome opens and closes her mouth.
"The emperor rules the galaxy with an iron hand. Anyone that
disagrees with him is killed!" Leia exclaims.
Sesshomaru looks at her, his eyes flick up and down her, as he
dismisses her. "That is the law, correct?"
"Of course, it is the law!" Leia replies hotly.
Sesshomaru shrugs, "Then, what is the problem? He is enforcing
the law, like he should be doing."
"That law is wrong." Leia growls.
"That is your opinion, and because of that, you are fighting the
emperor. You are in rebellion against him. The emperor has an
obligation to defend himself and his power." Sesshomaru replies
in a bored tone.
"One of you will destroy the other. And then you will become the
emperor." He finishes. "Whichever one of you wins are not my
concern."
"I will not become the emperor." Leia grits out. She walks up to
Sesshomaru. "When we defeat the emperor, we will be reinstalling
the republic and the people will rule."
Sesshomaru looks at Kagome, "What does this human mean by ‘the
people will rule?' Humans, as a group, are incapable of governing
themselves. They require an emperor or Shogun to rule them
effectively."
"I am not going to be ignored!" Princess Leia yells as she moves
to stand right in front of Sesshomaru.
Sesshomaru's ice-cold gaze sweeps across her, "give me a reason
not to ignore you."
‘I don't like this at all.' Han Solo thinks, ‘And I didn't like
that freak from the beginning, so . . . '
Han Solo begins to pull his pistol from his holster.
Sesshomaru, instantly, is standing next to him. One hand is
gripping Han Solo's wrist. The other hand glows a sickly green.
Drops of liquid hit the wooden floor and begin to eat through it.
"Human." Sesshomaru begins to say.
"Sesshomaru!" Kagome screams, "Don't kill him!"
Sesshomaru flicks his gaze to Kagome, then flicks it across the
others. Luke and Chewbacca have readied their weapons.
"Humans. You live only because of my consort." Sesshomaru's tone
causes all the Star Wars characters to shiver. Many of the Ewoks
run away, in fright. Sesshomaru has been perfecting that threaten
tone for years and it works, really, really well.
"Please everyone!" Kagome calls as she rushes to Sesshomaru, her
hands held wide. "IF we fight only the empire wins. Please, calm
down."
Sesshomaru releases Han Solo and with Kagome walks back to where
they were.
"How fast?" Han Solo whispers to Luke.
"Too fast." Luke whispers back. "Yoda, helped my speed, but, not
to that level."
Chewbacca barks as he walks around the still burning hole in the
wooden floor.
"Yes." Sesshomaru replies, "I was not moving fast." He nods to
Chewbacca. Sesshomaru reaches out and he places his hand on a
tree trunk and rips a huge chunk out of the bark. "And I'm also
stronger than you, as well, Chewbacca, is it?"
Chewbacca grunts and bares his fangs at Sesshomaru.
Sesshomaru raises an eyebrow.
Chewbacca puts his crossbow up and he moves in front of
Sesshomaru.
A pause as Chewbacca and Sesshomaru stare into each other's eyes.
Chewbacca suddenly swings at Sesshomaru.
Sesshomaru catches his fist and twists, bringing Chewbacca to his
knees as Sesshomaru twists his wrist, painfully.
"Sesshomaru!" Kagome yells as she begins to remove Sesshoumaru's
hand from Chewbacca's wrist.
"He didn't mean to hurt you, Chewbacca. You just challenged him
and he never backs away from a challenge." Kagome explains as she
places her hand over Chewbacca's wrist.
Her hand glows . . .
The pain in Chewbacca's wrist vanishes, as she heals him.
Luke, Leia and Han Solo exchange glances.
‘I wonder why he just did that? I would have thought, if Han had
tried that, he'd be dead and I'd be begging him to bring him back
to life.' Kagome thinks. She looks at Chewbacca, ‘or it is just
that Chewie's not human, so he treats him better?'
Chewbacca steps away from Kagome and Sesshomaru.
Han Solo looks up at his friend.
Chewbacca grimaces and shakes his head, no.
A pause, while everyone looks at each other and they wonder
what's next.
Luke steps in front of Leia and Han and asks, "you mentioned
helping us?" he asks Kagome.
Kagome nods. "Yes, I'd like to part of your attack on the shield
generator."
‘Once the real fight begins,' Kagome mentally smiles, ‘That will
be a nice fight to be part of.'
"With you consort?" Luke asks.
Kagome looks at Sesshomaru, who stares back at her, without
emotion.
She sighs, "yes and no, Luke. I'll be there and so will Lord
Sesshomaru. But." She shrugs, "unless someone attacks me or him,
I don't think he'll do anything but, please, stand there and
point out all the mistakes that everyone is doing."
Sesshomaru nods, "Of course, I've never seen a battle with humans
that they didn't make mistakes."
"And how can you help?" Leia glares at Kagome.
Kagome looks around. "Could someone hand me that bow and arrow,
please?" she points to a set that one of the Ewoks dropped when
he ran away.
A couple of seconds later.
Kagome fires an arrow into the ground below. A glowing crater
forms.
"HOW?" Han Solo whispers.
R2-D2 begins to beep and whistle.
Everyone, except for Sesshomaru who looks at R2-D2, looks at C3-
PO for a translation.
"Mistress Leia, Master Luke." He begins to say in an unsteady
tone. "His sensors did not register that power. He doesn't know
how it is was done."
"How many times can you do that?" Han Solo asks. ‘If she can do
that often . . . We couldn't bring anything but hand weapons,
but that . . . that's like a blaster from an Imperial Walker or
better.'
Kagome shrugs. "As many times as I have arrows, I suppose. Most
of the fights I've been in don't last long."
Everyone looks at Han Solo, since is the captain of the mission,
Han looks at his friends for advice.
None of them speak.
He grimaces, "Ok, you can be useful."
Kagome grins, "Thank you, Han Solo." She bows deep enough that
Sesshomaru growls.
She smiles, which lights up the entire area, as she sticks her
hand in her pocket.
"Then, Sesshomaru," She says, as she places the camera in his
hands, "could you please take a picture of me and them?"
‘I gave him lessons on the island, so he can use it.' She thinks.
"Pictures?" Luke asks.
Kagome blushes, "Ah." She licks her lips and quickly says, "My
little brother knows about you and he'll love it if I can get a
picture of you." She pauses, "Please. Pretty, please?" she begs.
Luke turns to look at his friends, none of them really object,
although none of them are happy about it either.
"I suppose." He says.
"Thank you." Kagome bows, again, to Luke and then to his friends.
"Thank you, all."
She walks over to them.
And Sesshomaru takes a couple of pictures of Kagome standing in
front of . . .
Luke Skywalker, Princes Leia, Han Solo, Chewbacca, R2-D2 and C3-
PO.
"Thank you, again." Kagome bows to the group, after she takes her
camera back from Sesshomaru.
Luke suddenly looks at the Death Star. He tenses.
"Luke?" Leia asks.
He looks at Kagome and Sesshomaru. He purses his lips, "Perhaps
it would be best if you don't go with us, Kagome and Sesshomaru."
"Why?" Kagome asks. She looks at the Death Star and frowns. "Can
the emperor sense us, like he can you?"
Leia, Han Solo and Chewbacca suck in breaths. R2-D2 lets out a
long thin whistle . . .
Luke nods, slowly. "I could sense you as you walked up the
stairs."
Kagome grimaces, "And so, he can sense us. Or at least, that
chance has to be taken into account." She shakes her head, "And
if he senses us at the shield generator . . . he might change
the orders to the guards." She finishes after a pause.
Luke nods.
Kagome looks at the Death Star, then at Luke. ‘I'm not going to
be able to go with them. Yes, I can change things, but, which
way? It was soo close in the movie.'
She looks at Sesshomaru as she thinks, ‘if he was involved,
things might be different, but he's made it plain that he's
doesn't care about this, so, all he'll do is keep me alive.'
Kagome sighs, "you're right, Luke. I can't come with Leia and Han
to the shield Generator. But, I can come with you." She says with
a smile on her lips.
‘Perhaps, if Sesshomaru meets Darth Vadar, then, he'll get
involved and help us.' Kagome thinks, ‘and luke, I think, before
we arrived was about to leave to give himself up.'
"Luke?" Leia asks, surprised.
"Luke!?" Han Solo, also asks.
Luke grimaces as he stares at Kagome. Kagome blushes, as she
releases that she just hurt his plans.
"Sorry, Luke. I forgot." She whispers.
She smiles, "Why don't you and Leia have a private talk, then
we'll leave."
"Leave!" Han Solo screams!
Luke nods, "yes, I must leave Han, if I say bad things will
happen. I can feel it." He swallows, "and I do have a couple of
things that I do need to talk with Leia about."
Kagome pulls out a piece of paper. ‘While we were walking here, I
found one of my tracings of the marking on the cube, so.' she
thinks.
"C3-PO, could you see if you could translate this?" She asks,
distracting everyone.
Luke and Leia take advantage of the distraction to walk off to a
side and talk.
"I am sorry, Mistress Kagome." C3-PO says, "I cannot decipher
these marks."
Kagome slumps as she takes back the paper.
A pause . . .
Luke and Leia return.
Luke Skywalker, Higurashi Kagome, and Sesshomaru leave the Ewok
village . . .

"That is Darth Vadar." Kagome whispers to Sesshomaru as she
watches the tall dark figure walk down the hall . . .

Authors' note: Sesshomaru and radio waves . . . radio waves are
related to Light . . . so, Sesshomaru should SEE radio waves,
not hear them, but, since that might confuse readers, I've tried
to keep his senses as vague as possible.
In case someone is confused about where I dropped Kagome and
Sesshomaru into the Star wars: return of the Jedi storyline. I
placed them in the story . . . right after the Ewoks accepted
them as part of the tribe and just before Luke and Leia have
their private conversation where, he tells her that Vadar is
Leia's father.
Author's Note: I will be returning to my normal posting schedule
for Kagome! Where are You!? At least until late may. In early
June, my schedule will change. On the first weekend in June,
Project A-kon will be occurring and I'm planning on attending.
So, my writing time will be shortened that weekend.
Author's note: sigh . . . real-life comment here.
I love history, I don't think I've hidden that, so . . .
Sigh . . .
I have played around with the idea of sending Kagome and
Sesshomaru to Iraq in 1920, during the rebellion against British
rule and occupation.
Fanfiction is supposed to be for fun. (Yes, I try to put in a lot
history in my stories, but, that is fun and challenging for me.)
But . . . that world would not be fun.
Sigh . . . we'll see.
And, I've had a longtime reviewer, who is connected to the
military, and he asked me to highlight this, and I think I should
so . . .

chapter 55 Star Wars . . .
Hmmm . . . oddly enough, there were reviewers that did not
recognize that this world is from the Star Wars movies.

Sigh . . . we'll see.
And, I've had a longtime reviewer, who is connected to the
military, and he asked me to highlight this, and I think I should
so . . .
