PROLOGUE

A young girl, about 16, hair brown up in a half ponytail, brown eyes, and pink glossy lips was walking through the woods. She had a huge piece of the shikon shard around her neck. She was also full demon, but looked and smelled like human. Her power ??? She does look for the shikon shards like Inuyashas's group, but she was way more powerful then the entire group combined! She was even more powerful then her lord! But her lord did not know that. She was one of the most powerful demons in all Japan.

Chapter one- Taking What is Yours

Kami walked through the woods, she heard some chittering. `I wonder what that is.?' Kami thought as she walked towards the noise. As she got closer the noise got louder. After awhile it sounded like some kind of fight! But not the kind of bloody fight that she usually is in, but a fight with words. She crept up slowly not wanting to be noticed, and watched the amusing fight. "Inuyasha I have to go, let go of me!" yelled a girl with brown eyes, black hair as long as her mid-back, and wearing a weird green and white kimono. "No, you have to look for more jewel shards!" `What? Jewel shards, where?' Kami thought. Right then she noticed a huge shard piece around the girl's neck! It was about as big as hers. She needed to get it! She jumped over to the two who were fighting, walked up to the girl and was about to take the huge jewel shard, when she felt something on her shoulder! "W-what t-the heck"? She was startled by what just jumped on her.

"Hi I'm Shippou, what's your name?" Kami just stared at the beast that jumped on her. After awhile she shoved the little fox demon off her shoulder, and without question took the shard from the girl's neck. Before she could run off, she felt claws wrap around her neck! "Give that back wench!!!" said a cold dark voice. She turned around and saw a hanou staring at her with his golden beautiful eyes. `Dang he's hot!' She thought to herself, and then quickly pushed the thought out of her mind. "Oh this?" she was saying as she looked in her hands at the shikon shard. "Give it back bitch!" the strange hanou said again. "I'm sorry, I cannot give you this, it is for my lord," Kami said in a gentle voice. "Tell me who is this lord you're speaking of is?" asked the hanou in a violent voice. "I cannot tell you." She said. "Why not?" he yelled back. `If I tell, my lord will for sure take my head,' she thought, not knowing if she should say that in front of him.

"Well… I, umm." Kami stuttered. "Well?" the hanou was growing impatient. "I am sorry, but I cannot tell you." "Fine then, I will kill you!" The hanou stated to tighten his grasp. "Inuyasha stop it!" the girl with the weird kimono said. "NO she has to give us the jewel shard!" yelled Inuyasha. "Inuyasha dammit…SIT BOY!!!" At that moment Inuyasha was on the ground. Kami looked down at the hanou. "Wow, such power!" Kami whispered to herself. "Now then, can we have the jewel shard back?" asked the girl. "I may not give you it back; I said it is for my lord." Kami said rudely because she knew she already said that. "You would not want to know who my lord is!" "Yes I would, tell me who it is!" yelled the girl. "Fine don't tell me I didn't say so. His name is…"

Part Two of Chapter One

Just then she heard the hanou get up from where he had fallen. Kami turned too looked in the hanou's eyes. "Sesshoumaru-sama." She said walking towards him. "And I do believe that he is your older half-brother?" Inuyasha looked at her surprised. "What does my brother want with the Shikon No Tama?" he thought. "Yeah right, why would my brother want with the jewel?" he said calmly, but fast. "Actually I'm not sure, but I think it is to deal with some sword, or whatever." Kami said with a questing voice. Just then she looked down to the sword on Inuyasha's side. "Maybe with THAT sword." She guessed pointing at his sword. Inuyasha looked down at the Tetsusaiga.

`That is possible, he has all was wanted the Tetsusaiga.' Inuyasha thought. "Yeah whatever just give us back the jewel shard!" he yelled. "To bad it is for my lord." Kami said in a snotty way. "Now, I must leave" she said. "No you aren't!" yelled the girl, she was now holding a bow and arrow. "What are you going to do about it?" Kami asked "I'll shoot!" she yelled back. "Okay shoot me then." Said Kami. "Fine I will!" She let go of the arrow, it was heading right for Kami's heart! But just in the nick of time she moved to the right and it whipped right past her. The girl had a mad look on her face and drew another arrow and let it fly. This time it was heading for her head. She ducked easily and again it did not hit its destination. "Not a very good aim you have, am I right?" Kami snickered. "Oh shut up!" The girl yelled. "Well I've got to get going I'll play with you some other time." Kami giggled. "Bye now."

Again as she was about to leave she felt something on her shoulder. But this time it wasn't that stupid old fox, it was a hand. She turned around to see who it was. She was so surprised she dropped the shikon shard! "KOUGA!!!" she yelled. Kouga was wondering what all the ruckus was. And without notice, ended up bumping in to them. Kami reached for the shard, but Kouga picked it up first and dashed off! Kami could already run really fast, even without shikon shards. She could even go faster then him, so she caught up with ease. "Give it back Kouga!" yelled Kami. Kouga stopped and looked at the shikon shard. "You already have the other half; you have nothing to worry about!" Kouga laughed. After awhile of bickering Inuyasha caught up, with that strange girl on his back "Kagome, stay right here okay?" Inuyasha whispered. "Hai." She said, agreeing.

Sure enough Kami could hear them. `So her name is Kagome.' She thought. "Kouga give us back the jewel shard!" Inuyasha yelled. "NO give it to me!" Kami screamed in a whining way. Kouga looked at the two. There was no way he was going to give it to ether of them. Just then he felt pain in his chest! Kami had swiped her hand right through him! She took the shard out of his hand, and began to walk away.
