Chapter two-I Have What Is Yours

Kagome ran up to Kouga, and Inuyasha ran after Kami. Inuyasha charged toward Kami, pulling out his Tetsusaiga and swinging, but missed. Kami turned to Inuyasha. "Oh, umm… I'm sorry Inuyasha, well, I think that's your name, but I have to go. I can see you some other time." Kami said in a cheerful way. With that Inuyasha got very annoyed, and swung the Tetsusaiga. It hit…! "Owww, I think you just gave me a bruise! How rude." Kami yelled. A-a-a b-bruise, is that that it?" asked Inuyasha. "Well, of course, I AM a full demon." said Kami.

Inuyasha put the Tetsusaiga away, and stared. "No you're not!" he said. "Well, think, Inuyasha, how do you think I survived that swing from your… oh yeah, your sword?" I would have never taken the shikon shard if I were a mere human. Kami said. By the way, I hate humans, they are worthless!" Inuyasha did not like what she was saying. He threw a punch at her, she easily ducked. She then gave him a punch in his stomach. Inuyasha felt the pain spread through his body. Inuyasha pulled the Tetsusaiga out, but the pain made it hard to pick up. "You bitch!" Inuyasha yelled, managing to lift the heavy sword.

"Man, are you ever going to stop?" asked Kami. "Shut up!" he yelled back, as he swiped the Tetsusaiga at her. This time she grabbed the fang, and threw it up in the air. It landed with a clunk in a nearby tree. Inuyasha looked at Kami, and then at his sword in the tree. He had to get it. He looked at Kami once more, and ran towards the tree. As soon as he was about to grab it something whispered in his ear. "You don't need it, do you?" she asked in a whisper, then vanished. Inuyasha grabbed the Tetsusaiga, and put it away. He sniffed the air for the so called demons scent. Nothing… he smelled nothing. Well except for his surroundings. `Damn it all, she took the jewel shard!' he thought while turning around back to where Kagome and Kouga were.

Part Two of Chapter Two

She was going so fast she could barely see her surroundings. `I have what is yours Sesshoumaru-sama.' Kami thought to herself. After about an hour or two of running, (well, she stopped a little in between) she got to where she wanted to be.

She opened the huge doors to her lord's castle. She figured that he would be in the garden. He usually went there at this time of day. Kami walked gracefully down the long hallways to where her lord was (well, thought he was). As she got there, she saw him leaning up against a sakura tree. "Lord, I have gotten the shard you have been wanting so badly." Kami said bowing to him. Sesshoumaru turned around from the tree and stared at Kami. "Good." He responded, reaching out for the jewel shard she was holding. Kami looked at the shard in her hand, and then looked at Sesshoumaru's hand, and back at hers. "I never said I would give it to you Sesshoumaru-sama." Kami said with an evil smile on her face.

Sesshoumaru's face went from glad to emotionless, (As always.) Kami could tell he was getting mad. She took a step backwards. "What I meant was, umm…that… a… you don't…umm….need the jewel. Yeah, you don't need the jewel. I mean, you are the lord of the western land. That must mean that you're very powerful, right? Hehehe. Sesshoumaru looked into her dark brown eyes, and saw nothing but her beautiful face looking up to him. He always kind of liked the girl, but wasn't too fond of her. She was a little cute when there was fear in her eyes.

Sesshoumaru grabbed the collar of Kami's kimono. "Give it to me wench!" he said pulling her close to him. So close he could feel her tiny puffs of air on his face. Kami did not like the position she was in. WHAM!!! A red hand print was imbedded on the left side of Sesshoumaru's face! `Oh crap, what the hell did I do that for?' Kami thought.
