Kagome smiled at Inuyasha as they both carried their supplies to travel through back to the Feudal Era. They walked over to the well. The magical well, the one who brought Kagome to Inuyasha in the first place. The both looked at eachother.
"you ready?" Inuyasha asked.
"i'm always ready," Kagome responded. Just before they leaped inside, a girl came out. "huh? Where am-" before the girl finished, Inuyasha wacked her on the head with his sword and knocked her out.
"Inuyasha! No!" Kagome cried. She went over to help the girl. The girl looked like she was about 10-11 years old. She had silver hair and claws! "Inuyasha, you really hurt her. Lets take her back with us and help her."
"What?! No way, thats just gonna cause even more trouble!" Inuyasha stated. "but, shes really hurt, and we can't just LEAVE her here!"
Inuyasha growled in impatience. "she smells like she's mostly human....I can tell, she's a quarter demon," Inuyasha stated. "Inuyasha, I know you don't trust her, but this is serious! She's just a little girl, what could she do?" So they ended up taking her to the feudal era. They lay her on a big blanket.
When the girl woke up (finally) the whole gang was staring down at her. Her big golden eyes opened and widened.
"AAAH! Hey! Wh-Who are you people? And where am I?!" she cried, then drew a sword from her side. They all just stared at her. "the question is, who are YOU?" Miroku asked. She looked at all of them. "I-I'm Kaya Higorashi....and you with the white hair and the girl in the uniform look awfully familiar." Kagome looked at Inuyasha she ran over to Kaya and looked her straight in the eyes. "do you remember where you came from?" Kagome asked her. ".....not much, I just remember my name, my age and that i'm a quarter demon but you two seem so familiar." "since Inuyasha wacked you on the head you probably don't remember much...*hint, hint*," Sango said. Inuyasha came closer to her. "why is your hair like mine?! And why do you have claws? Are you a relative of mine or something?! Tell me now!" he asked her. "I really don't know.." It was very silent for awhile.
"I fell through that well.....from my....real home, I can barely remember it." Kaya stated. "hmph." Inuyasha silently said. "Inuyasha, Kagome and Kaya, come over here a second, I need to talk to you." Miroku told them. The three of them walked over. Miroku looked around before he spoke. "I can almost feel Kaya's demon powers. She has powers alot like yours Inuyasha. I think she has come from the future. And...." Miroku stopped. "AND?" Inuyasha demanded. "I think she's yours and Kagome's daughter from the future." Miroku said. Inuyasha almost fell over. Kagome gasped. Kaya just stood quietly and thought hard. Inuyasha quickly leaned down, grabbed her by the shoulders and looked into her eyes. They were just like his. And her hair.....her claws. "DAMN! So, Miroku, you're tellin' me that THIS IS OUR kid?!" Inuyasha said as he pointed at Kaya. Miroku nodded.
Kaya clawed Inuyasha's arm and pushed him away. "I don't get this!" she said. Kagome put her hand on Kaya's cheek. "Kaya, calm down. Its going to be okay," Kagome said. Kaya had tears in her eyes, she was so confused. "this could affect the future, we have to send her back," Miroku said. "wait a little, she needs to calm down and accept this," Kagome said. "Hey look! I don't want Naraku finding out about this! He'll kill her, you do realize that, RIGHT?!" Inuyasha said.
"Inuyasha...." Kagome said in an impatient voice.
"Oh get a grip!!" Inuyasha said.
"Inuyasha...."
"WHAT NOW!?? WHAT DO YOU ALL WANT FROM ME?!!!"
"SIT BOY!!" Inuyasha fell to the ground and Kaya giggled.
"listen, this is really hard for me too! We'll let Kaya stay awhile. For heavens sake! She's your daughter too. We'll send her back to her time when she's ready." Kagome explained. Inuyasha got up and sighed. He walked away worrily. Kagome turned around with such a big smile on her face that Kaya almost fell over."WEELLLL then, that takes care of him," she said. "I suppose you're hungry." Kaya's eyes widened. "yes! Hey, do you have any ramen?! I LOOOVE ramen!" Kaya exclaimed. Kagome paused and looked down at her. Even Inuyasha heard and they were all surprised that she loved ramen just like Inuyasha. "uh...I think I have some extra..." Kagome said. Everyone was so surprised how much Kaya looked like Inuyasha as she sat in front of her bowl of ramen and how she just gobbled it up.
Inuyasha was sitting down on the grass by a tree. Kagome could tell how worried he was and walked over to him. "Inuyasha, whats wrong?" she asked. He sighed.
"I-I never thought about us getting married and having a kid...its..just so surprising." Inuyasha said. Kagome sat beside him. "I know...I never thought about it either." Kagome said as she held his hand. "but at least we have something to look forward to." Kagome said. Inuyasha hugged her. "I hope...our daughter will be safe from Naraku..." Inuyasha said quietly. "why dont you go and talk to her?" Kagome asked. Inuyasha thought a moment, then got up and walked over to Kaya and the others. They were all sitting down and talking. Inuyasha sat beside Kaya. Kaya looked at him. "I-I guess I can call you 'dad' now," she said. Inuyasha smiled at her(or at least tried to....). Inuyasha spotted the sword Kaya had. "you're very young to have a sword, why do you need it?" Inuyasha asked her.
Kaya looked surprised he'd ask her that. "my sword's name is Kagome no Yasha....because my name is made up of 'Ka'gome and 'Ya'sha," Inuyasha thought: thats right! Her name is combined of mine and Kagome's name! "I only remember that my sword protects me from transforming into a full-fledged demon." Inuyasha's eyes widened. She turns into a full fledged demon too?!! "the same with me. My sword's name is Tetsaiga, it keeps me from transforming, too." Inuyasha said.
"I know it isn't right to ask right now....but do you love Kagome? It sure seems like it...." Kaya said. Inuyasha surprisingly looked at her. "well? Do you?" Inuyasha flinched. "I-I guess so....."
"you ready?" Inuyasha asked.
