*Inuyasha and Kagome walking through the forrest, when they hear a scream*
"What the hell was that!?" Inuyasha asked suprisingly.
"I don't know, but I think it's hurt. We should find out." Kagome said anxiously.
"No way, I'm not goin' after suomthin' that might hurt us.Besides we have jewel shards to look for." Inuyasha told her, not wanting to miss any shards.
"Well, maybe there is a jewel shard. Let's go look, the sound came from over there." She pointed to the left, which was even deeper into the forrest.
"Fine let's go." Inuyasha said, putting Kagome on his back so he could run and jump as fast as he could.
After a few minutes they came to a person-like figure lying on the ground. She had silver hair that seemed pretty long, and pale skin. She looked to be around 15 years old.
"Oh, my God, a girl." Kagome said as she rushed over to her. "She seems to still be breathing. Oh, look at that gash on her leg We've got to help her."
"How? She'll probably be dead in a few minutes. Let's just leave her." Inuyasha said, not wanting to lose any time.
"No, Inuyasha, we've got to do somthing." Kagome tried to sit up the girl and gasped.
"What?" Inuyasha asked.
"Look. She-she has dog ears, like you!" She told him.
"What? She can't. Kagome, are you feeling okay?"
"Just look at her."
"Okay, but I'm tellin' ya, she can't have-oh, shit!"

'That can't be who I think it is, can it? But I thought she died with my mother.' Inuyasha thought as he stared down at the girl with a confused look on his face. Kagome noticed his face and asked, "Inuyasha, what is it? Do you know her?"
'Can it really be Kaya? No-I know she died.' Inuyasha stood there, thinking of how this could be so.
"Inuyasha, can you hear me? Help me carry her. We'll have to bring her to the cabin, where Miroku, Sango, and Shippo are. I wonder what happened to leg where the cut is." Kagome was waving her hand infront of Inuyasha's face trying to get his attention. "Do you know her?"
"What? Uh, no. Of course not! How would I know her? She is a complete stranger!"
"Umm..OK.." Kagome was a little unsure of this. 'I bet he knows her, but why isn't he telling me?' She thought to herself.
*Back at Cabin*
"Who is she? What is she?" Shippo asked impatiently.
"We're-I'm not sure." Kagome said, eyeing Inuyasha.
"What? What makes you think I known her? Jeeze." Inuyasha was a little worried Kagome might know something.
They all looked at the girl and Inuyasha somehow seeing a resembelance.
"I know this sounds crazy, but you too do look a little alike, only she's a lot cuter than you, Inuyasha." Miroku said looking at them both back and forth, as if he were wating a tennis match.
"You-you do." Sango agreed.
The mysterious girl stirred and they all jumped, stopped looking at Inuyasha, and just looked at her.
"Where am I? Who are all of you?" She looked at the people in the room and when she got to Inuyasha, she gasped. "Inu-Inuyasha? Is that you? Oh, it is! I can't believe it!" She smiled and tried to rush to him, but winced in pain because of the cut on her leg.
"Oh, you should stay lying down for a little bit." Kagome told her. "Do you know Inuyasha? How? What's your name?.......What are you?" Kagome knew the girl probably didn't want to be asked so many questions, but she had to know the answers.
"My name is Kaya. Untill now I thought Inuyasha had died with our mother. And, I'm...half human, half dog-demon. Kind of like Inuyasha, but different." She replied, knowing that she was probably a lot more different than Inuyasha than she made it sound.
