Chapter 6
“Inuyasha, give me some blanket!!! You're hogging it” Kagome streamed at Inuyasha like her life depended on having that blanket.
“I told you if you want he blanket take off your clothes, and since you insist on keeping those `panama' things on, you get no blanket” he said simply, as though she were just going to take off her clothes and fuck him, right there in her mother's house with her little brother in the next room, her mother down the hall and Ji-chan probably outside the door with those pieces of paper trying to purify Inuyasha. Sometimes she really didn't understand him, and now was one of those times.
“Oh come on, I'll be quiet, it's your screaming that you should worry about.” He said as he turned over taking the little bit of blanket she had with him. It wasn't cold in the room, he would have felt bad playing this game if it had been. She just didn't understand, youkai males needed um…their wife's attention very frequently, not that once a month crap that human males lived with. But he could understand her not wanting to do anything in her mother's house, she had grown up here, and besides her little brother, Souta was next door and these walls are paper thin. But once they got home, she was in for it! He turned over and watched her try to sleep with no blanket, it was kinda funny.
“Oh come on, I'll be quiet, it's your screaming that you should worry about.” He said as he turned over taking the little bit of blanket she had with him. It wasn't cold in the room, he would have felt bad playing this game if it had been. She just didn't understand, youkai males needed um…their wife's attention very frequently, not that once a month crap that human males lived with. But he could understand her not wanting to do anything in her mother's house, she had grown up here, and besides her little brother, Souta was next door and these walls are paper thin. But once they got home, she was in for it! He turned over and watched her try to sleep with no blanket, it was kinda funny.
She looked at him and said “If you don't give me the blanket, you're not getting any when we get home either.”
He smirked and said “okay.” He gave her half of the blanket.

“Mama, do I really need all this?” she said looking at the yellow pack, which wouldn't close because of all the stuff her mother had packed in it, and that didn't include the blue pack that her mother had bought yesterday, it was full as well.
“Well, dear you need things, you'll have to build a house, and then decorate it. Then you'll have to baby-poof it. Not to mention that you need special things to wear. Since you're not going back to school you'll probably not be coming back as much, and I want to make such that my baby girl is taken care of.”
Just then Inuyasha walked in. “She will be taken care of.” He more yelled than spoke, Kagome could swear his eyes turned a slight shade of crimson for a slight second and he was trying VERY hard not to hurt her mother.
“Yes, Inuyasha, I know that you are an excellent provider and that you will make sure nothing happens to my daughter, however, I want to save you a little bit of trouble.” Her mother said without even a slight bit fear.
“Feh, whatever, can we go yet? I need to talk to the monk about something'”
“Yeah, just let me say bye to Souta.”
“SOUTA!!!”
“What sis?” he said as he walked into the kitchen.
“We're leaving so I wanted to say goodbye.”
“Oh man you're leaving Inuyasha, I still have to show you on my X-Box and PS2! Can't you stay a couple more weeks?”
“Feh” He just wanted to go home and be with his mate, why couldn't anybody understand that?! But just as he was about to say something Kagome shot him the `if you do that you be doin' me' look and he backed down and said “maybe next time.”
He walked over and picked up those heavy packs and started to walk out the door. Kagome yelled after him “Wait up let me say bye to Mom” so he stopped and waited.
A few minutes later Kagome came running out. He was sitting on the step of the shrine, waiting. “Ok, I'm ready.”
“Feh.”
“What was that about?” she said and Inuyasha knew that the wrong could bring very bad results, so he did the one thing that he knew would shut her up, he kissed her. And it wasn't a `will you please just shut up kinda kiss, he put all of his sexual energy and frustration into the kiss, letting her know two things, one, what that was all about, and, two, what was in store for her when they got home.

Home, yeah Kagome would LOVE to sleep in hers. In only thing standing in the way of that was her mate. Inuyasha wanted to build her the kind of house that she had dreamed of living in since she was a small child, the kind of house that she could live if she were in her time. And so since Inuyasha didn't want to impose on Keade any longer, (strange huh?) she was struck sleeping outside every night!
But as long as she remind herself that she loved her husband and respected his opinion, she could stop herself from sitting him until his back was so broken that even he couldn't heal properly.
Night time was still something that she looked forward though. Since they were outside and it was fall, Inuyasha would have to snuggle closer to make sure she didn't get too cold. It was the only good part of the whole situation.
But today their house was set to be completed, she didn't even know where it was, Inuyasha wanted it to be surprise. But today she would get to see the house that would quite possibly be the last she ever lived in. Inuyasha had worked really hard these past few weeks to build it, giving her very few if any details. He had normally been so tired that he didn't start any fights or any thing.
She was standing outside of this mystery castle, blindfolded, with Inuyasha leading her.

He mumbled something to Miroku and Sango, who had recently gotten together. Then all of a sudden Sango gasped ”What, what is it?” she more of screamed than asked.
“It's beautiful, oh dear kami's you did something really special here.” Kagome could sense the smirk on her mate's face.
“Wow” Miroku added.
“Alright, come on guys, you're feeding his ego, and I'm the one that has to deal with it so, STOP!” then he pulled her blindfold off.
The house was actually in the middle of a small stream and a small hot spring and Inuyasha had built a protecting around the hot spring, saying that he didn't want any lecherous monks spying on his beloved.
“It's beautiful, oh dear kami's you did something really special here.” Kagome could sense the smirk on her mate's face.
“Wow” Miroku added.
“Alright, come on guys, you're feeding his ego, and I'm the one that has to deal with it so, STOP!” then he pulled her blindfold off.
The house was actually in the middle of a small stream and a small hot spring and Inuyasha had built a protecting around the hot spring, saying that he didn't want any lecherous monks spying on his beloved.
The house, while only one story, was quite large. There was a bedroom in the middle of it that Inuyasha had claimed as theirs, there was a large futon in center as well as a small room off to the side that Inuyasha had said was supposed to be a closet. There were few items in the room, probably so she could decorate it herself.
The first thing you saw when you walked into the house, was a kitchen area to the right and a sitting area to the left. The kitchen had several pots and pans, in small cabinets that Inuyasha had obviously modeled after the ones in her mother's kitchen in the modern era.
The sitting room had few furnishings, however, there were cushions in random places. There were also two medium sized bedrooms off them, that were for the children they planned to have. One already had some things in it, she smiled, the were Shippo's.
There was also a room that had a chamber pot and a window, to dump it out of when finished.
She was dumbfounded. ”Now, there isn't that running water stuff inside the house because I couldn't find a way to get it working, so I hope this is okay. We haven't really talked about how many children we're going to have, but I want a big family so put as many bedrooms as I could in the house, I guess if we need more I'll add to it. Kagome? Kag..” He was cut off by her kissing him.
“Inuyasha, I love it. It's everything I have ever wanted and more because I have you to share it with.” and kissed him again. She was stunned when Inuyasha stopped her.
“Monk, Sango, get out.”
Miroku and Sango both kind of giggled and walked out the door.
“Now, where were we?”

A few months later:
“Kagome, Kagome wake up.” Inuyasha was shaking her.
“Not now Inuyasha, I'm tired and it's only been a couple of hours. Maybe later.” She rolled over and pulled the heavy wool blanket over her head.
“No, it's not that Kagome, there was a blizzard and the entire village is pretty much buried. I need to go dig some of it up. Miroku just got here and he said that if someone doesn't dig it out soon many of the villagers will die, and he can't dig it out by himself.”
“So, you're going to go help?” She said simply.
“I think I have too.”
“Okay, just be careful.”
“Aren't I always,” he said as he put on his haori.
“And behave.”
“I have no idea as to the meaning of that word, be-have is it?” he said giggling.
“Whatever, I think I'm just going to sleep a little bit longer. I don't know why I've been so tired lately.”
“Well, just feel better.” and he kissed her and left.

220;Sango, guess what?” Kagome said angrily walking into Keade's hut.
“What happened?” she said concerned.
“I'm pregnant.”
“What?” Sango said while almost crying. “Wait, why are you mad?”
“Because, Inuyasha and I decided to wait a little while to have kids. He really wanted a little more time of it being just me and him. I'm not sure how he's going to take it.”
“Kagome, he is going to be thrilled, you know he is.”
“You really think so.”
“Of course.”

Kagome had made his favorite dinner, Ramen and well.. Ramen. Now all she had to do was wait until he got home to tell him.
