8: One thing after another
"Inuyasha! Inuyasha!" Running on all fours, Shippo runs until he can find his companions.
'Why did she leave? Did she find something she doesn't want us to know about?' Inuyasha has been thinking only of Kagome since she had left. They have been going back to Kaede's village since they had no reason to continue there shard hunt without Kagome. Inuyasha's ears begin twitching. He can hear Shippo's frantic calls for him.
"What is it Inuyasha?" Miroku looks to Inuyasha's halted form.
"Inuyasha!" Turning to see the kit jump onto his head and start tugging on his ears. Inuyasha began to get annoyed at the kits constant pull to his sensitive ears. "Inuyasha-" Sayed hanyou pulls Shippo off his head and throws him on the floor.
"What the hell brat! Quit screaming in my ears!" Both Sango and Miroku sweat drop at the common bombarder of the younge kit.
"I-nu-ya-sha!!" Shippo has been trying to tell him of what he saw but he always getting abused.
"Yeah I heard you runt. What do you want?" Letting Shippo get up from the floor, he takes in breath, trying to regain his composure.
"What's the big idea! Inuyasha, I saw Kagome with Sesshoumaru!" Not hearing anything but the name of his half brother, Inuyasha stands shocked and looks pissed at Shippo.
"What did you say runt?" He's speaking increadibly calm, Shippo takes a step back twords Sango.
"Shippo, what did you say about Kagome?" Miroku and Sango stare at Shippo, hopping that they heard wrong.
"I sayed Sesshoumaru has Kagome!"
"Ok Rin take this." Kagome gave Rin some childrens asprin that she keeps around for Shippo. Kagome has given Yamori the ivy as soon as they entered the estate. After Rin took the medicine, she gulped down the rest of the water. Smiling at Kagome, she gives he the now empty cup.
"Thank you Kagy." It was so cute that Rin gave her the nick-name Kagy. Rin begins to scratch at a bump but Kagome stops her.
"Don't scratch Rin." Taking a rag and soking it in cold water, she places it on her arm, cooling the burning itch.
"Lady Kagome, I am done with the cream." Turning to see Yamori bow and enter the room. Handing over the ointment to Kagome, she goes to the other side of Rin and sits down, waiting to be needed.
"Yamori, where has Sesshoumaru gone?" Kagome asks from rubbing the cream onto Rin.
"Yes, where is Rin's Sesshoumaru?" Both girls look over to the healer waiting for an answer.
"I believe he went to patrole his borders. He went looking to his plant traps. He felt they were used."
Nodding her head, Kagome looks out the door. "Rin, try and go to sleep. You need to try and not scratch while the cream takes effect." Nodding, Rin puts her head down on the pillow. Closing her eyes, waiting for sleep.
After making sure that Rin fell asleep. Kagome and Yamori leave the room. Yamori went to do her other tasks, while Kagome left to explore the garden.
With Sesshoumaru
It took Sesshoumaru not long to find the breatch in security. Seeing his plants in distress, he walks up to them, taking back the loose energys they emmit. Calming down, it is safe to walk around. Inhaling the air around him Sesshoumaru growls. "Naraku."
