11: Annoyance
"Kanna, show us our beloved youkai lord." Emerging from the shadows, a young albino demon, walks to her creator and father. Slowly, she raises the mirror to her chest. A shine reflects from her movements.
Stopping just a foot from Naraku, Kanna shows Sesshoumaru, unaware of his stalker. Snickering to himself, he patiently waits and watches his once ally, enemy. "What is it you plan on doing with the young miko Lord Sesshoumaru? Why keep something that can easily destroy you, in the same place you call home?" Talking to himself, Naraku calmly awaits his answers to show infront of him. Thanks to Kanna's mirror.
Narrowing his eyes, to look more closely we see our lord, walking towards Inuyasha's camp.
"Inuyasha will you calm down and listen to reason? If you keep resisting the scrolls will only increase in strength." We see the hanyou laying on his side trying desperately to regain his balance.
"What's the big idea Miroku!? Take off these stupid pieces of paper, Now!" Running in circles on his side, Inuyasha has made himself a hole. Panting, he growls at his so called 'friend' wishing with all his mite to just pound the cocky bastard's head.
" If there so 'stupid' Inuyasha why can't you peel them off yourself?" Inuyasha's eyes threaten to tare his head off. "I'm sorry my friend, but until you stop digging your own grave I cannot help you." Never leaving his spot from igniting the fire, Miroku smiles when flames begin to flicker. Standing he brushes off access dirt from his robes and squats to look at Inuyasha's pathetic condition.
Drenched in sweat, Inuyasha glares at the monk from his position.
"Don't look at me that way. It was the only option you gave me. Besides, you don't look too threatening by running around in your hole." Smirking at the enrages hanyou, Miroku looks to see Sango, Shippo, and Kirara entering the clearing with a few fish dangling on a line.
Looking for Inuyasha, Sango tilts her head giving Miroku a questioning glance. Looking bored he points to the ground. Raising an eyebrow, she walks over to find Inuyasha death-glaring at Mirokus back.
"What is he doing in the ground? Did Kagome come back and 'sit' him?" Shippo asks, leaning as far into the hole without falling in. Smiling at Inuyasha's obvious discomfort, he jumps into the hole landing on Inuyasha's head. "So tell me Inuyasha, do you like the ground or is it a habit to eat dirt?"
"Why you little runt wait 'till I get out of here! You'll be the next on my list after Miroku!" Starting to runt in circles once again, he maneges to drop Shippo from his perch and uses his shoulder to pin him to the ground. Smiling at his achievement, Inuyasha asks, "Who's the one eating dirt brat?"
"Will they ever stop picking on each other?" Asks Sango, piercing the last fish and placing it over the fire.
"I highly doubt it." Closing his eyes and sighing to himself, Miroku opens his eyes to see Sango stretched to place the fish, losing control of his hand, he rubs Sango's rear earning him a slap and a "Hentai" from Sango.
"You just had to go and ruin the peace didn't you, you lecher?!" Hand still in slap position, her cheeks are burning.
Raising his hands in a sign of submission, he begs, "Please, forgive this lowly monk, your beauty calls to me-" Not getting to finish his sentence before Sango begins to yell at him.
"Don't give me that bull Miroku I've heard it enough times to know it's a lie!" Grabbing Hiraikotsu, preparing to show no mercy, a feel of youki approaching brings Sango from her attack. Starring off to the distance, Sango asks Miroku, "Do you feel that?" Not waiting for an answer she yells orders, "Miroku, release Inuyasha. Inuyasha, release Shippo. Shippo, HIDE!"
Miroku grabs Inuyashas wrists and pulls at the scrolls. All three jumping from the hole to feel the ominous feel in the air. Shippo skerries to a near by bush and jumps inside. All three fighters take up a familiar stance, preparing for battle.
Inuyasha intakes a long breath of air and smells his brother. Whispering so only they can hear he says, "Careful guys, Sesshoumaru is near by."
As if on cue, Sesshoumaru emerges from the foliage and smirks to Inuyasha, "Hello brother, it's been a while." Looking around he sees the humans he normally hangs around with. 'Sango the demon huntress. Miroku, the cursed monk.' Sniffing the air he smells the kit hiding. 'And Shippo, the orphaned kitsune kit. How Kagome is fond of this one. There sents are mingled with each others, even without being near for such a while.'
Inuyasha is getting impatient. "What do you want Sesshoumaru? Where is Kagome? You better not have hurt her!" Unsheathing the Tetsuaiga, Inuyasha spreads apart his legs and braces for an attack.
"There is nothing to worry about Inuyasha. Just give me the Tetsuaiga, and you can have your little miko back." Showing no emotion towards what he just said, Sesshoumaru looks over to see the monk and tijia looking tense.
"No way in hell will I hand over MY sword to you!" Growing angrier by the second, Inuyasha tightens his grip on the Tetsaiga.
"Very well then. Prepare for battle brother. I will have the sword, even if I must retrieve it from your grave." Bringing his poison claws poised for attack, Sesshoumaru lunges at Inuyasha.
'Where is everyone?' Kagome wonders. Walking around a corner, she enters Rin's bedroom. "Hey, Rin feeling any better?"
Looking twords Kagome, Rin beams. "Kagome! Rin is happy to see you! Will Kagome take Rin to the garden? Rin is feeling much better." Getting up from her bed, she runs and launches herself onto Kagome's stomach.
Patting her head to acknowledge her, Kagome smiles. "Sure thing. Let's just see how your temperature is." Kneeling down, Kagome lifts up Rins bangs and puts her palm onto her forehead. "Well your fever is gone. That's good. I see no reason not to. Come on let's go pick flowers.
Yelling in excitement, Rin takes Kagome's hand and leads her to the gardens. "Rin will show Kagy the prettiest flowers in the garden. Will Kagome show Rin how to make flower bracelets?"
Smiling down at the beaming girl, Kagome nods, making her run faster, wanting to get to there destination sooner.
A/N: Ok. Here's the next chapter. I really hated how Chapter 10 turned out so I'm making it up to you all with this one. I like how this turned out. School starts tomorrow so I'm hoping that I'll still be able to update every Wednesday as I planned. Don't worry too much. If I don't then expect one the following Sunday.
