10: Boys will be boys
Kagome woke up to a pirceing head-ache. Rubbing her temples trying to diminishe the pain, she gets up from her bed and sits on the edge, waiting a few minutes for a dizzy-spell to leave. Getting up, she heads twords the indoor hot spring. 'It's been way too long since I've had a nice soak.'
Sesshoumaru has had nothing to do. He is ahead in his papers, nothing had been reported a miss since his security trappers. There is only one thing to say at a time like this. 'Boring.' Yes, taiyoukai of the west has been doing nothing but sitting around, sulking. Smirking to himself he gets up and walks out of his study. 'I think I'm over due in paying my little brother a visit. I only promised to not kill him. I never say'd I would stop fighting him. It seems he has a perpose after all.'
Inuyasha has been running none stop since Shippo told them what he saw. They've been running for a few hours now, long enough for Inuyasha to cool down, but not depleat his determination. It would take them half a day to get to Sesshoumaru's castle, with the cost of exhaustion. "Inuyasha, let us make camp, we can go to Kagome in the morning. At this rate you will not be able to stand, let alone fight your brother." Miroku, Sango, and Shippo have been riding Kirara. The neko youkai can't take much more.
"Shut it, monk! If we wait any longer, he may hurt Kagome." Slowing down slightly to yell at the monk from the neko's side, Shippo jumps onto Inuyasha's head.
"Inuyasha! Don't think a second that we don't want Kagome back. Listen to reason, AND LET'S STOP AND REST!" Shippo yelled as loud as possible into Inuyasha's ears.
Loosing his balance, Inuyasha does a face plant to the floor. Kirara is seen skidding to a stop, not waiting for the others to get off her back before changing back to her kitten form, panting like mad. Sango gently lifts her up and cradles her in her arms. "Good job, Kirara. Go ahead and take a nap, we won't be going anywhere," Looking over to the hanyou still nocked out on the floor, "Right Inuyasha?"
Ears twitching, said hanyou regains his balance. Sitting up, he grabs Shippo from his head and throws him to a tree. "Must you be so mean to Shippo? He was only trying to help." Miroku says walking over to Inuyasha.
*twitch* Inuyasha's ears trying to find the monks voice. "You'll have to speak louder Miroku! The brat made my ears ring."
Shippo walks back to Sango muttering, "He always has to pick on the little guy." Crossing his hands over his chest and sitting in an Inuyasha like manner.
"You ok Shippo?" Sango asks, kneeling to look at Shippo. Kirara giving a little meow in for worry.
"Fine, had to make him stop some how." He has his eys closed, eye brow twitching in annoyence. He opens his eyes to find Inuyasha fumming at a calm collected Miroku, who too, is arguing.
Sighing, Sango gets up, "Come on Shippo, let's go find something to eat. Seeing as they'll be at it for a while."
Nodding his head he gets up and follows. 'I realy miss Kagome's ramen.' Sighing, he turns around. Miroku hit Inuyasha over the head and is now being chased around the clearing. 'If that's how adults act, why should I grow up?'
Ok, I felt realy bord. Not too sure of what should happen. I have an idea, but any suggestions are greatly appriciated. Thank you Kitkat2919, sorry that you confused yourself, Sadaboxter83, thank you, Christinatails, you always make me laugh. Thank you all once again for taking the time to review. Hope this chapter isn't too short.
