Chapter 17: Where to go when you just don't know

Sesshoumaru's bath
"What if I don't want to?"
"Who says you have a choice?"
"I do because I say I do!"
Both Kagome and Sesshoumaru have been arguing about whether or not Kagome should be held responsible for Sesshoumaru's misdeed.
Walking closer to his hot spring, Sesshoumaru removes his cloth. "The sooner this is done the sooner you may leave." Relaxing in the steaming bath, Sesshoumaru relaxes his tired and strained muscles.
Kagome, with a deep blush, turns to look at the bathing tai. The funny thing was, his tail was slightly afloat, 'Looks like his tail is too fluffy for water to drown.' Laughing, Kagome walks over to the edge. "Well?"
Cracking one eye open, he points to a shelf holding bathing supplies.
Walking over to the items, Kagome looks over at the lavender looking 'shampoo'. Putting all that she will need in the bucket, she walks back to her 'master'.
Dumping out the contents, Kagome hands the bucket over to Sesshoumaru. He once again opens his eye, smirks and just enjoys the waters warmth.
Looking at him hotly, Kagome kneels by the edge, fills the bucket, stands up, holds the bucket high to shoulder length, and dumps the water over Sesshoumaru's head.
Socked beyond belief, Sesshoumaru jumps slightly and coughs to drain the inhaled water. "What was the meaning of that!" He mostly growls out.
Shrugging her shoulders, she says, "I had to get your hair wet somehow." Kneeling and bringing the agitated lord down with her, Kagome grabs what is to be the shampoo and begins to massage it into Sesshoumaru's hair.
Forgetting, for the moment, Kagome's trickery, Sesshoumaru lets himself be overtaken be Kagome's gentle hands massaging his scalp. Every time he would feel the need for a bath, he would dread it dearly. He would have to be careful not to accidentally cut himself with his razor claws. With Kagome, all hassle in such activities are no more.
Kagome can feel Sesshoumaru rubbing up against her fingers, trying to gain more pressure. Rubbing harder on his scalp, Kagome drops one of her hands to the water, carrying enough to moisten his drying hair, to increase the lather.
After feeling Kagome's fingers leave his head, Sesshoumaru without thinking, tilts his head. Water slides down his hair, rinsing out all forms of soapy substance.
Once the calm bath was over, both rise, Kagome hands Sesshoumaru a drying towel with her back turned to him.
Sesshoumaru takes the towel, smirking at her turned back, he shakes himself dry, making sure to hit every last drop of water to land on Kagome.
With an 'eep' of surprise she turns to yell at him, but sees he's still smirking, towel still in hand. Eyes wide, blush deep, Kagome shields her eyes with her hands and jump turns.
Sesshoumaru thinks of an idea, he turns to her, and pushes her into the spring.
Kagome doesn't have time to scream before she plunges into the water. Surfacing, Kagome sees Sesshoumaru wrapping the towel around his waist and walking out of the door. More mad than embarrassed, she struggles to get out of the water when the kimono she wore weighed her down and she couldn't bring up her legs far enough to reach the top. "Just you wait Sesshoumaru! This is NOT over yet!" Kagome screams, knowing full well everyone in the castle had probably heard her.

Miroku has been sulking since the time he told of last night, and Inuyasha was getting pretty pissed off with the delay of finding Kagome. "Damn it Miroku! Who cares about what happened! It was in the past, there's nothing you can do about it now, so just get over it!" Inuyasha yells at his friend.
What's the best way to solve a situation with the group? Have Inuyasha yell and get beaten over the head by Miroku's staff of course. But, Miroku was just too depressed.
"What's the matter with you! Why are you so upset? Things happen, if you lived your life without killing something what's the point of living?" Inyasha scratches his head trying to ponder his answer.
Sango comes and pushes Inuyasha out of the way, "Not everyone thinks like you do Inuyasha." Looking over to the helpless looking monk, Sango sighs. "He has some type of point Miroku. That man was after you first, you were just acting out of self defense. What would have happened if you hadn't defended yourself? You would be the one dead." Looking at him for some kind of response, Sango gets fed-up.
Gripping his shoulders and slamming what little space in-between Miroku and the tree, she forces him to look at her. "Listen Miroku, I know you feel bad about what you did, but there is nothing you can do about it. What's done is done. Now I want you to get off your lazy ass and get up and help us! We still need to find Kagome. Do you want something to happen to her? We need your help Miroku, if you don't get up, then Inuyasha and I are left with no choice but to leave you here." Staring hard into his eyes, she waits for his decision.
Miroku looks away and tries to get up.
Feeling his movement, Sango extends her hand to help up Miroku.
He looks to Inuyasha and sees him smirking. Inuyasha says as a motivator, "Come on, lets go save Kagome." Inuyasha too, extends his hand.
Sighing and shaking his head in defeat, Miroku grabs both there hands, "Lets." Being hauled up, Inuyasha pats his back fairly hard. "Lets not forget about our dear friend Shippo, Inuyasha, Kagome would be heart broken to know that her kit was not with her."
"Feh, let Sesshoumaru keep the kid. He'll end up bugging him to death, Sesshoumaru would pay us to get rid of him." Each group laughing at the idea of Shippo being torture for Sesshoumaru.
The group begin walking towards the west, to seek out there long lost companions.

Finally being able to escape the spring, Kagome leans against the door, dripping wet.
"Kagome if I knew that you wished to bathe I would have gladly helped." Finishing his dressing with the last of his sashes.
Too mad to come up with an insult, she stomps past Sesshoumaru, dripping wet down the hall to her room.
On her way, Kagome meets up with a running Shippo and Rin. "Kagome! What happened? We heard you scream. Why are you wet?" Shippo asks while tilting his head cutely sideways.
"Fine Shippo, I just tripped and fell in a spring. How about we go outside after I change? Would you two like that?" Seeing them both nod vigorously, she enters her room, "Go play and I'll find you so we can go k?" Closing her door behind her, she rests on the door. 'I will find a way to kill him.'
Shippo and Rin
"Lets go find Jaken Shippo, Jaken will be fun to play with while we wait for Kagome to come." Rin says while pulling Shippo after her.
Smiling at all that he could do to the toad, Shippo allows himself to be dragged on by Rin. They pass by Sesshoumaru, heading the opposite direction of them.
Kagome's room
"Can't believe he did that!" Rummaging through her cloths that were stashed at the bottom of her yellow bag, she pulls out a pair of blue jeans and a t-shirt.
After her dressing, she begins to brush out her hair.
The window suddenly blows open. Dropping the brush on the desk, Kagome expects it to just be a strong wind. Closing the window, she expects to continue with her brushing, but none other than Naraku is standing in front of her bedroom door.
"I figured this is where you were hiding little miko. Tell me what are you doing with Sesshoumaru?" Walking closer to Kagome's petrified form. "What is this? Afraid?"
Coming out of her sumpter, Kagome reaches behind her for her arrows. Groaning, 'You would think I would remember that by now.' Trying not to show fear but failing when her body shacks with each step closer he takes. "Leave Naraku. Sesshoumaru will not tolerate you on his lands and you know it." She tries to sound sure of herself, but at the moment Sesshoumaru is not with her, or anyone else to help.
"Don't worry little miko, nothing will happen if you just come with me quietly." He lunges and grabs her. Heading straight to the window with a screaming Kaome.
Sesshoumaru
As soon as he heard Kagome's scream, Sesshoumaru used his youkai speed to rush to her room. Slamming the door open, the only thing he sees is Kagome being carried away by Naraku.

A/N: Ok first off, I AM SO SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING! My mom didn't let me get on the computer! They were guarding it like a treasure so that I couldn't use it! I have too sneak on since she has to work today and I have time to update. Naraku finally has come.
More stuff happens next chaprter. Inuyasha and the gang finally make it to Sesshoumaru's castle. Kikyo will finally make an appearance. Hopefully I can figure out a better plot for Inuyasha and Sango. If you have any ideas on how Inu and Sango will become one, it will be greatly appreciated. I can always make a way, but I like to know what my reviewers would like.

Aerykn - I do not care of a single flame. In fact in my opinion it was not a flame, you actualy told me something was wrong and I greatly appreciated it. If I knew my spelling was that off when I corrected it then I would have fixed it sooner.

hColleen - Yes I know about the whole menses thing, I am a girl. What I am refering to is that some Female dogs bleed when there in heat. Sesshoumaru is a male dog demon so that is where the idea comes from. I will have Kagome become fertile and Sesshoumaru sence it though. The typeos I'm worrying about, I do use spell check, if it looks like another word, but isn't what I want I can'n do anything about that, 'cause I don't go over anything. Sorry, but you'll have to deal with it. The reason, I'm sure your talking about, was when Sesshoumaru said, 'onna' I figured it would emphisize his meaning.. and I was being influenced by just reading a YYH fic. ^-^ Glad you like the fic.
