Kagome sighed as the rain fell steadily on the window as the teacher lecured through another lesson. Her mind on the other hand was somewhere totally different. So far different that it was in another time zone! About 500 years into the past. Where she spent most of her time anymore? She had questions and answers running through her mind faster then a bolt of lightning more and more every day now. Will InuYasha choose her or Kikyo? What will happen when the Shikon Jewel shards are collected will the well seal? What side of it did she want to be on? What would happen wants Naraku was killed? More and more these things were on her mind. Then there's her friendships like the one with Sango the demon slayer, the two had become more and more inseparable then ever. Everything with these two had become as one, they were at the point they could think about the same things, like or dislike the same, their body's could tell when the other's was going through their visitor and often joined in on the same. Many times they had laughs about things that only girls of their ages would understand. Then what about with Miroku the monk. Yes he had his habits but there was the loyalness to her and the others as well. He came in real handy when it counted. Not just because of the wind tunnel, because he really came through when it counted even with out it. And there was the fire cat Kiara, the fire cat demon was one of the sweetest cats Kagome could ever dream of meeting. The fox demon kit had to be the most playful child she had ever seen in her life. He was always getting into some kind of mischief or running his mouth and getting himself into trouble, most she tolerated but knew she shouldn't. But he was so cute when he gave her that look. But lately her heart towards him had also been starting to change. She was starting to see a son where a friend once stood, she wanted that sort of relationship with him she loved him as if she had given birth to the boy. Then there was InuYasha, the hanyou,... no not the hanyou but her Hanyou. At least thats how she wanted it to be. A heat rushed from her face right down to her toes just at the mear thought of him. She longed to be with him with everything she had. Her heart ached to be near him. To feel him beside her while a campfire crackled in front of her. She wanted nothing more to make him happy make his life worth living.....
"Higurashi-chan" A voice called out trying to get her attention. Again the voice called to her, this time snapping her out of it,
"Yes Sensei?"
"Are you going to lunch I'm sure your mind can use the fuel, Are you sure your alright."
"I'm fine, I've just got a lot on my mind. Somethings tearing at my heart with disissions that I have to make but are serous."
"I see, but can you do that for me later instead of in my class next time."
"I will, I'm sorry about that." The teen said gathering her books and running out the door. The teacher just shook her head smiling, saying to herself,
"To be young and in love life doesn't get any better."
As Kagome reached in her bag she found her lunch empty, but couldn't figure out why. Taking the large yellow backpack she had decided to no longer leave at home or unattended if she could help it she opened it, finding it heavery then it should have been at the time. Turning it over Kagome shook it and out tumbled a small boy. He looked up grinning at her with his aren't I the cutest thing in the world look.
"SHIPPO! What are you doing here?" She asked looking all around her to make sure no one seen her and the kitsune, grabbing him up she ran away from the building.
"Alright start talking," She demanded.
"What do you mean?"
"You know darn well what I mean, how did you get here, and what are you doing here?"
"I climbed in your backback before you left this morning, and I don't wanna be away from you right now I miss you too much."
"Do you not understand how worried everyones going to be when they realise your gone?"
"They'll be fine."
"If InuYasha comes after you I'm not going to stop him from punishing you is that clear?" The boy's head hung Kagome bit her upper lip trying to think, hearing foot steps she looked up seeing her friends coming towards her,
"Listen to me Shippo, I need you to go back into the pack and stay there for now, and stay quite I have to get them away for now." He nodded as they walked over.
"Hey guy's I'm not feeling good so could you tell Sensei that I had to leave again?" They nodded as she ran off.
"She seemed fine to me," Eri said glaring at the girl running down the street as fast as she could, "We should make a visit to her house after school and see what's going on."

Running into the house Kagome slammed the door shut and dumped the boy onto the couch, then stood to catch her breath really fast.
"Shippo, I'm touched you wanna be with me that much but you can not just take off like that, it worries others when you do something like that they need to know what happened to you and where you are at all times. Expecally with ones like Naraku.
"Gomen, Kagome," The kitsune said seeing the young woman's angered face. Kagome nodded and spoke.
"Shippo if you ever ever EVER pull this again I will have to actually spank you. Is that clear?" The boy nodded stunned that she even threatened it, "I didn't hear that."
"Yes Kagome I understand,"
"That's better, but for now I will just have you sit in a corner for bit this time. Come on I'll show you where, and then we're going to have to talk about your staying here until it's time to go back." She told him taking him to her bedroom and helping him into the spot she was in before settling down to her home work.

"SHIPPO!" Voices called all over for him worry growing in their voices as they tried getting his attention.
"DAMN, Where'd the hell did that brat go!" InuYasha hissed, searching everywhere along with the others after they had spent several hours looking for the boy. An acutal worry tone was starting to seep into his voice, as he proclamed that he cared nothing about the boy and what he did was his business. The others around him knew the truth though.
"No I don't care," He hissed as they searched,
"I just don't wanna get "Sit" into the ground." He told them. "Now just shuddup and look for him."
