As soon as Kagome finished the work she eyed the kitsune,
"Shippo come here, we need to talk a moment."
"Am I still in trouble?"
"No how ever we need to talk about somethings,"
"Like what,"
"Like I will let you stay the next few nights until its time to go back, but I to wanna talk about feelings as well, and about your parents" Shippo froze at the word parents.
"Well papa was great he did all kinds of things with me and let me do all kinds of things, and taught me to use my fox,..."
"I know that stuff you've told me about those, but what about your mom?"
"I prefure not to talk about her."
"And why's that?"
" We don't see eye to eye alright" Kagome nodded.
"Alright, so we can say you don't want anything to do with her right?"
"You got it if I ever see her again it will all be too soon." Kagome nodded again.
"Let's get you in the bath and clean you up then I'm going to take you out for a bit"
"Out?"
"That's right so you can see where I live, we need to get supplies anyways." Shippo nodded as the phone rang the child jumped so high that all the fur on his tail stood on end as he tried to find out what the noise was coming from. Kagome couldn't help but laugh as she walked into the hall to answer, while she talked the boy walked around it trying to figure it out. He batted the buttons with his finger tips to see what it did. Then pulled the phone from Kagome's ear and called in at the top of his lungs
"HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT KIND OF DEMON ARE YOU!" He hollard out into it. Kagome felt like burring herself into the ground as she took the reciever from the boy.
"Shippo go ahead back to my room a moment and I'l help you into the bath. She said as she thanked the caller and followed him.
The woman realised this was going to be a long couple days as well as funny.
"Now how about that bath, I bet Sota won't mind you using some of his toys while your in here." She said leading him into the room. He stared stunned as she turned the water in the shower on.
"Kagome theres a water fall inside the house! And how did you get the spring inside?!"
"This one here is a shower you wash in here, and then relax and stuff in the tub." She said starting to remove that bow of his.
"NO I'll do that" He said fast.
"Alright, head in there and wash up while i get you some clean clothing you could borrow for a moment. Just make sure you turn this nob this way before you open the door here," Kagome told him showing him how the water turned on and off.
As she walked out she could hear a squeal of delight as the boy played in the falling waters. She knew he would be entertained for a while as she got somethings done.
As she storted out through a few things she had in a bag of clothing she had bought for Shippo incase he ever stayed in her time, she had wholes put in the back of the pants of each set for his tail. Finding a little red shirt and blue overalls, along with little boy underwear with a little turtle print and a new hair tie for him. She walked back into the bathroom.
"Shippo are you clean in the shower there?"
"I am!" He called out, as she helped him out of the shower and into the bath and handed him some toys."
"I still wanna wash your hair, I have somthing special for it, I bought you somethings from here at one point hoping that I would be able to bring you hear for bit and show you around."
"So at one point you were planning to bring me here?" he asked as she managed to get the bow out of her hair, the smell that came from under it was horrible, smelled like rotted eggs, dirt, she winced at it, as she grabbed the shampoo, and started adding it into the hair as she did she found small black bugs crawling all over her hands. Shippo can you play with the toys for a moment I need to call my mom really fast,"
"Kay" He said as he busyed himself with the stuff around him as well as the bubbles she had put in for him. "One more thing Shippo, I have some special crayons for you to use here," she said handing him the bath crayons that he could drawl on himself as well as the bath while he waited.
Kagome waited for her mom to get in the door,
"Mom you have everything right?"
"I have what oyu asked for,"
"Thanks,"
"I'll come help" Her mother said walking into the room with her daugther.
"Mom this is Shippo, Shippo this is my mom."
"Hi he said blushing,
"Mom I think I can get this part I come out when we're done." Kagome told her mother, "Thanks though." After about several hours of washing with flea shampoo as well as lice, and what ever eles she could have, Kagome helped him out of the water helped him dry off and dress in the new clothing.
"THIS is WEARD Kagome!" He said staring at the looseness he got from them unstead of the tight cloth binding he was use to. "I like this better too"
"Do you we can get more for you if you want while your here?"
"K" He said excited about what the day was going to keep bringing. As she ran a comb through his hair making sure all the stuff was out of his hair, before using a brush and getting the tangles out and putting in the new hair tie, and adding one more thing, a baseball cap but put it on him so the brim was in the back. Instead of the front. Then stood,
"Lets have you meet my mom and my brother once more before I take you out for a bit," Kagome said leading him out,
"Well isn't he hansome!" Her mom said grinning at the boy.
"Is he a Hanyou as well?" Sota called out.
"NO I'm a full blooded fox demon!" Shippo called out taking up a little defence.
"Be nice Shippo."
"Sorry." He said not wanting to repeat the sitting in the corner thing again.
"Sota can you play with Shippo for a moment while I talk to mom about something important" The boy stood grabbing the Kitsune's hand and tore out, showing him the toys that were outside. and the stuff around that he did to keep busy while Kagome talked to her mom. The were finishing up when Shippo flew in behind Kagome,
"HIDE ME"
"Shippo whats wrong?"
"SHIPPO YOU BRAT GET OVER HERE SO I CAN KILL YOU!"
"Him!" Shippo squeeked as InuYasha stormed in.
"Shippo I told you I wouldn't protect you this time as you did scare him to death, but let me talk to him for a moment." He nodded and sat down on the couch nervous, as he was told by the hanyou not to move,
"Listen I did punish him myself and he has learned, but I also told him he could stay until I have to go back tomorrow, but tonight theres something special that I want to do with him anyways, if you need ot do what you need to but I don't pound him in the head, try something eles, I spent several hours cleaning out fleas and things from his hair, and he's got sores all over from the lack of care." She went on about the threat she had also made to InuYasha to the boy about the next time no one was told he was leaving.
"Alright, but I want to stay anyways."
"Thats fine as well but I am taking Shippo out by himself right now, I'm taking him to eat something and get somethings cause I wanna let him in on a desision I've made."
"And whats that?" He asked. Kagome leaned over and whispered what she had planed he stared but nodded deciding to respect what she had to say.
"I'll leave you to be, and do something eles for a bit, but I am going to talk to him first." InuYasha said calling the boy over, deciding to give him a break for once, eyed the boy with a cold glare before giving the boy a harsh blow to the backside. Shippo yelped at the contact.
"Don't you EVER scare me like that again is that clear?"
"Hai InuYasha," The Hanyou stared,
"Kagome what the fuck did you do?"
"What do you mean?"
"How he's acting right now?"
"I stuck him in a corner for a bit and spent some one on one time with him"
"I see" Kagome nodded, "We'll be back in a bit," She said grabbing keys off the counter, and picking the boy up heading out.

Kagome sat across from Shippo in the child friendly diner, as she thought about the ride over, she ended up having to drive at about 10 miles an hour as it had spooked him and made him a bit car sick at first. Then she thought. a moment eyeing him
"Shippo I wanted to ask you something important,"
"What's that?" He asked getting his meal all over his face,
"I care about you,"
"I know that you don't have to say it"
"But theres something eles to it,"
"Whats that?"
"I want something more for you, so that you always have a place and belong to someone." Now he looked at her with a confused look as the server brought in his desert.
"Whats that?" He asked again.
"I want to give you something thats good for you and would improve our friendship a lot more,"
"Kagome just spit it out."
"I will in a second, because what I'm about to ask requires a long commitment, a life time's worth, even if I have a shorter life span then you do. I want to be your mom, I want to adopt you." Shippo dropped his spoon stunned. "I've thought about it for a bit. Thats what I was talking to my mom about cause I wanted to make sure it was the right thing for both of us. And she says if you want it its whats best." She told him getting up and walking over to his side of the table and sitting down beside him. As he nodded staring at her.
"Is it what you want Shippo?"
"I,... I,... I do!" He said starting to look up when he did he found Kagome's face to have the biggest grin that could possibly be added to her face.
"I got a son now," She said holding him closer.
"Shippo come here, we need to talk a moment."
