End Of The Month Confession.


It was the end of the month, the end of the deal that Inuyasha and Kagome had made. Inuyasha’s was more then a little anxious, and a tiny bit nervous. Good thing he knew how to hide that.

Kagome had a concert on that night And she said she’s reveal how she felt for him at the concert. So . . .he wasn’t bugging her that much.

God he wished the day would go faster!

“Relax Inuyasha.” Miroku laughed as Inuyasha paced in his room. If he kept this up he’d run a path through his carpet.

“I can’t.” Inuyasha snapped, Miroku was almost the only one who could see through his façade. It was kind of easy fooling Rin and Sango. Kagome already knew that he was going to be wired. But Sesshomaru, Kouga and Ayame could easily smell that he was anything but calm.

“The concert’s in a couple of hours.” Miroku said, standing and walking over to the flat screen T.V.

“So?”

“So let’s play some of these video games.” Scanning the racks he gasped. “Their’s probably every video game ever invented!”

“Seriously?” Video games were one of the not-so-many things that could get Inuyasha to forget what ever was on his mind. Well . . . more like it postponed what he was thinking so that it didn’t bother him until later.

“Yeah.” he grabbed a game and smirked. “You up for a game of Naruto?” Miroku asked.

“Yes!”
“Good, cuz I have to practise my Sexy Jutsu.”

“You’re such a freak Miroku.”

“So are you dog boy.”

“Haha, very funny.”

“Ready to get your ass kicked?”

“You wish.”

After about 4 rounds of extremely long Naruto jutsu fighting Inuyasha finally sighed. A knock came at his door and he gave it a side glance.

“Yeah?”

“You ready to go yet?” Sango called through the door.

“Go? Go where?” he asked confused, sending Miroku a look. He just shrugged.

“Kagome’s concert? She’s supposed to be telling you how she feels tonight . . .remember?”

“Oh shit! I ain’t even dressed!”

“You naked?” she asked with a laugh.
“No, I’m in my boxers. So is Roku.”

“Miroku!” Sango screamed. “You promised me you’d be ready an hour ago!”

“S-Sorry! I forgot!”

“You were playing Naruto again weren’t you?”

“I had to practise my Sexy Jutsu.”

“Typical.” she sighed. “Meet me down stairs. Everyone already headed out with Kagome. She’s sending about limo to come pick us up.”

“Alright. When should it get here?”

“In about 5 minutes.”

“Shit!” Miroku cursed, jumping up, running out of Inuyasha’s room almost running into the blushing Sango and ran to his room.

It hadn’t taken them very long to get ready, which surprised Sango. But then she realised that they weren’t girls so they didn’t fuss of how they looked, hair, and make up. She was grateful.

“Ready?” she asked them.

“Yup!” They answered at the same time with a nod.

“Good. Let’s go.” Opening the door they walked out to the limo.

The ride was fairly quiet. No one wanted to talk seeing as Inuyasha had nervousness written all over his face. He was twitching and a bit jumping too.

“Inuyasha!” Sango snapped. He jumped as if he forgot they were in the car with him. “Stop twitching!” he looked down at his knee and grinned sheepishly. Putting both hands on said knee he tried to keep it from bouncing. It didn’t work. Sango just gave an exasperated sigh.

“We’re here.” Miroku said, looking out the window.

“Thank god.” Sango whispered, being the first one to rush out of the limo. Inuyasha and Miroku following not far behind. They made it just in time.

Rin waved them over to the first row and they walked over, a smile on all of their faces.

“Ladies and gentlemen!” an announcer called over the speakers. They crowd when quiet. “Welcome to the Kasha Concert Hall! Thank you for coming. And we are proud to present Kagome Higurashi!” The crowd screamed.

Sango, Rin and Ayame were fast to join in while the boys clapped.

“Thank you.” Kagome said, walking onto the stage. “And I have a special announcement for you. As I’m sure you all know a month ago I started dating Inuyasha Nagasaki. And as part of the deal I made with him I am here to tell him, and you how I feel about him.” she stopped and took a deep breath. Her face looking like one of dread.

‘Oh no.’ Sango thought when she saw Inuyasha’s face drop.

“Well Inuyasha. The only thing I can say is, I’m sorry.” she whispered just loud enough that the mic could pick it up. “I don’t really know how to explain this, but . . .I hope this song can help you understand. I’m really sorry.”

Sango hugged Inuyasha gently as he looked like he was about to cry.

“It’s okay Yash.” she whispered. “If she can’t see that you’re perfect for her, then it’s her loss. You’ll find someone else.” Inuyasha just didn’t say anything. His head bowed as the music started.

Inuyasha’s head snapped up. His mouth hanging open and his eyes wide. She was smiling at him.

He was smiling now. She had played them. Made them think she was going to say she didn’t like him. She really was a sneaking bugger wasn’t she?

Sango and Miroku were grinning like madman, or in Sango’s case madwomen. Why had they ever doubted her? They knew Kagome wasn’t going to let Inuyasha and them down. They had been comparing her to Kikyo yet again.

The song ended, and everyone clapped and cheered. Kagome smiled.

“I know I said I was sorry before the song. And I am.” she giggled a little. “I’m sorry I didn’t realize it sooner, or tell you sooner for that matter. Probably scared you didn’t I, Inuyasha?”

“Hell yes!” Inuyasha screamed up at her and she laughed.

“Sorry again. Now. This next song is going to sung by me, and my friends.” she looked at Sango who paled.

“Oh no.” Sango whispered.

“Man,” Ayame wined.

“Wasn’t that supposed to be our little secret?” Rin whispered.

“Everyone I would like you to welcome Sango Keskay, Ayame Summers, and Rin Yatamoto!”

“Damn.” all three girls whisper, the boys laughed a little as Kagome pulled them on stage.

“Ready girls?” she asked as they each took a mic.

“As ready as I’ll ever be.” Sango muttered, glaring at her a little.

“Okay, all of us wrote this song together, and it’s actually for people very special to us. Each of us are going to dedicate this song to that person. Sango?”

Sighing she smiled a little. “I’d like to dedicate this song to Miroku Hitamoto.” Miroku blinked.

“Ayame?”

“I’d like to dedicate this song to Kouga Tashio.” Ayame said smiling. Kouga looked shocked.
“Rin?”

“I’m dedicating this song to Sesshomaru Nagasaki.” Rin grinned like the cat that just ate the canary. Sesshomaru looked confused.

“And I’m sure you all know who I’d dedicating this song to.” Kagome said smiling. “Inuyasha Nagasaki!”

The boys looked at each other and blinked a few times before looking back up to the girls.

As Kagome sang this a flash back as to what happened that morning on the night of his gig flashed through Inuyasha’s mind. When he had sang ‘I’m Still A Guy.’ His cheeks felt like they were on fire.

Kagome was staring at Inuyasha now. Ayame staring at Kouga, Sango staring at Miroku, and Rin staring at Sesshomaru. All the boy’s faces seemed to redden. Well . . . All except Sesshomaru’s.

The song ended and the girls were smiling at them before looking up and smiling at each other. They nodded and Rin, Ayame and Sango hopped off the stage and back to the group. Sesshomaru, Miroku and Kouga not hesitating to wrap their arms around them.

After about another hour of Kagome singing the concert eventually ended. And Inuyasha was almost literally jumping off the walls to get to see Kagome.

Sango laughed as they showed the security guard their back stage passes and walked down the smallish hallway towards Kagome’s dressing room. She knocked and Kagome called ‘come in’. Inuyasha practically knocked the door down as he ran in. He ran in, swept her up and before she even had the chance to register what happen, cashed his lips to hers.

She laughed into the kiss before wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing him back with just as much, possibly more force.

Pulling away he grinned like a madman at her and she laughed.

“Someone’s happy.” she said, gently tweaking his ear that was hidden by his bandana. How he had it so that his ears looked like it was hair under that bandana she had no idea.

“Course I am!” he said, spinning her around, “Who wouldn’t be!” he kissed her again as he set her down.

“Get a room.” Ayame muttered and Sango laughed again.

“I told you.” Sango said to Kagome. “I told you, you wouldn’t need to worry about how to turn him down didn’t I?”

“You were right Sango.” Kagome said smiling. “I guess I didn’t need to turn him down.”

“How exactly did you figure out you love the mutt?” Kouga asked playfully.

“I don’t know.”

“What?”

“Stop asking stupid questions.” Kagome muttered. “I actually didn’t know until this morning. Remember how I stayed in my room all day?”

“Yeah.”

“I found it extremely hard to stay there and prepare for the concert with Inuyasha next door. I asked myself why I wanted to be around him so much. Then it hit me. Cuz I love him. I though I had lost my mind when I heard about 6 different voices say I loved him in my head.” they laughed as she hugged Inuyasha around the waist.
“Actually. They sounded like you guys.” she said pointing to them.

“I guess those voices like us.” Miroku said grinning.

“Apparently. And I guess one’s also a pervert.”

“Why?”

“Cuz it kept telling me that I liked it when I saw Inuyasha standing in the kitchen doorway naked.”

Miroku laughed and hugged her a little. “Why am I not surprised?”

“Oh, I’m not either.” Kagome said nodding. Inuyasha blinked. Miroku got the biggest perverted grin on his face that any of them had ever seen. “Get those thoughts out of your head.” she warned

“Yes, listen to her before I kick you in the balls so had they’ll come out your mouth.” Sango growled, his grin instantly fell. “God boy. What a cookie?” she giggled.
“Oh! I love cookies!” Miroku said happily they all laughed.

“Alright, lets get out of here.” Kagome said, pushing them towards the door.
“Hold on Kagome.” Inuyasha whispered, grabbing her wrist. She looked at him then nodded. They waited until the group was out of site before she asked.

“What is it?”

“Did you mean it?” he asked, a small blush on his face.

“Mean what?”

“That you love me.” his voice was barley audible.

“Of course I did.” she smiled and hugged him. “Why wouldn’t I mean it?”

“I don’t know . . . I just find it hard to believe.”

“Well . . .trust me, I wouldn’t lie about something like this. I don’t know if I’ve ever lied in my entire life. But still, I wouldn’t do that. I’m not Kikyo. I don’t get my kicked with messing with people’s hearts.” he smiled down at her.

“That’s good to know.” he kissed her lightly. “Really good I to know.” he said before walking out of the dressing room with her. Hand in hand.

I know, kind of short but oh well. I bet I scared some of you didn’t I? Made you think that Kagome was gonna say she didn’t like Inuyasha. AHA! Got ya!

Lol.

Okay, another challenge for you my wonderful reviewers. I need some more idea’s for songs. For Kagome and for Inuyasha. I’m kind of running out of them. I’m also looking for ones that Inuyasha and Kagome would sing together.

Oh, another question . . .do you people want Inuyasha to reveal to the his school, and the whole world that he is Inu-Niichan? Or do you want him to stay secretive? It’s up to you!
