The long awaited Final Chapter. What a wonderful day for an ending, ne?

Everyone stared in shock.

‘That was it? What the hell!?’ Was basically everyone’s shared thoughts. That just wasn’t very much fun to them. Hell, hardly anyone did anything! Naraku had been far too weakened for them to really be in need to do anything. What was the use of them going? Just to witness the event? Just to be there? To take up space? To breath the air? To get in the way? No one would ever know. No one would ever remember Naraku. He didn’t have a legacy. He was just some vile man who’s only heir had been murdered before him. Well, he did have step-children, but would they claim him? No.

Kana fell to the ground faint. Rin rushed to her side and picked her up. She held the girl to her chest and looked up at Sesshomaru with pleading eyes. He sighed and nodded his head. Rin gleefully cheered. She picked up the girl and put her in her boyfriend’s arms. Kagome mused at how wonderful they looked.

Everyone high tailed it out of there and went on with their lives, free from being hunted.

Sesshomaru and Rin adopted Kana. Kagome had been right, those two were a lot alike. It was if she was always his daughter. Rin and Sesshomaru made up for the joy that overflowed from Rin. Rin and Sesshomaru married shortly after adopting. They made a very adorable family. The two stoic demon’s with silver white hair, always dressed in white, with the colorful joyous human woman.

Inuyasha ended up proposing to Kagome, which she accepted. They moved into her family’s shrine, which her mother occasionally came home to visit before moving to New York. Souta went to move in with Hana (which I just realized I had forgotten all about him during the whole The Battle-That’s-Not-A-Battle…oops…well let’s just say, he just stood off to the sidelines, just like Sesshomaru…-cough-).

Kagome ended up keeping the jewel for a while. None of them really wanted to use it. It was kept heavily guarded at all times, and in memory, whether loving or not of those who they lost. Kagome never knowing Kikyou was her step-sister.

Sango of course admitted her feelings for the stupid perverted Monk-In-Training. They got married of course, and had lots of kids. Being married to a pervert who wouldn’t?

Kagome adopted Shippou and he grew up as part of their family.

Pour Kagura was absorbed into Naraku’s body during the ‘battle’. No one would ever forget her. On the day marking the anniversary of the ‘battle’, they would all gather and celebrate and keep her in mind. Fore she had helped to save Souta, hadn’t she?

Three years later an older Kagome lies awake in bed. She smiled thinking of her loving husband and four children, another on the way. Then she frowned when an image of her brother and Jisho entered her mind.

She stood up. Suddenly knowing what she should do. She slipped as quietly as she could to the box where the Shikon no Tama was held. She picked it up smiling. She ran her fingers over it’s shimmering surface. She remembered that day, and how mature her brother had been. She knew very well that she would have not let Inuyasha go, had he done something like that. She frowned at how grown up her little brother was and how immature she was. Now was her turn to grow up.

She closed her eyes and made her wish…

Souta stared at his ceiling sighing unhappily. He hadn’t had a single happy day since the day of the ‘battle’. He hadn’t had any other thoughts other than those of Jisho since then. He missed her like nothing he had ever felt before. He sighed once again and slammed his fists angrily on the bed. ‘Why can’t I have just been able to keep her!?’

He seen a bright flashing light, and there stood before him…

“Jisho!!!” He cried jumping off the bed and flinging himself at her.

“Souta! I missed you!” She remarked as he embraced her.

He brought her into a passionate kiss, vowing to himself to never lose her again.

So, you see? Happy ending! Everyone gets their girl in the end. (Except for Sesshomaru being tied down…He’s too sexy to be tied down, correct? Wait…Sesshomaru tied down….----Anyway! Back on track!)

Everyone lived…somewhat happily, with their share of dramas and fights, deaths and births. You know…All of the whatnots of life…

That’s my story. It’s officially over. Now -sigh- I have to work on my other ones… Well I do hope that those of you who read it enjoyed it! I know the ending sucked and was cheesy….but I just couldn’t think of anything else. I suck at summaries and endings.
