Chapter 4- Kouga's Visit prt.1
Inuyasha watched as Kagome walked into their hut. She was asleep within seconds and as soon as her breathing slowed, Inuyasha turned towards Kagome's `mate'.
“Listen here you Bankotsu-wanna-be,” Inuyasha snapped. “I will not let you steal Kagome away from me.”
Hiten rose an eyebrow. “Bank-whaty? What are you talking about?”
Inuyasha growled and clenched his fists. “Urasei! Kagome may be your `mate', but she is MY girlfriend! Ya got that?”
Hiten smirked and rolled his crimson eyes. “Whatever you say, hanyou.” Hiten turned and began to walk towards the Goshinboku to take a nap of his own without Inuyasha growling, but found his path blocked by the transformed blade of the Tetsusaiga.
Hiten growled and glared at Inuyasha from the corner of his eye. “Nani?” he asked.
“You're not going anywhere. Stay here thunder-rat.”
“Better a rat than a sniveling dog.” Hiten shot back.
“Sankontesou!” Inuyasha cried as Hiten stuck his tongue out at the hanyou. Hiten easily dodged it by jumping over and landing behind Inuyasha.
“Hah! Your `Iron-reaver Soul-stealer (a/n- Sankontesou actually means Soul-shattering Iron-claw)' won't work on me!” Hiten laughed as he summoned down the bolt of lightening containing his Raigekijin into the palm of his hand. As Inuyasha gritted his teeth and used the Wind Scar, Hiten merely laughed and raised his Raigekijin and blocked it as well as Kanna's mirror.
“Stay still you bastard!” Inuyasha grunted as he swung the Tetsusaiga like an ax chopping down a tree. And today the tree was Hiten. Hiten blocked it and then kicked Inuyasha in the face.
“Heh; I don't even have my flying wheels on and you still can't defeat me!”
“Urasei! Kagome is mine!”
“Wait, are you saying that I would want
her?” Hiten asked as an incredulous look crossed his face.
“Ano; you mean you...don't want...her?” Inuyasha asked.
Raising his eyebrow Hiten shook his head. Inuyasha chose that moment to burst out laughing. Hiten watched for a moment and then shook his head in disgust. Hiten turned on his heel and rested his Raigekijin on his shoulder while he walked away to the Goshinboku; leaving Inuyasha laughing in the dirt.
`Man, he
is stupid...' both thunder youkai and hanyou thought.

Ginta and Hakkaku ran after the small blue tornado that sped ahead of them. Gasping and panting, the two Ookamis ran as hard and as fast as they could. But when you're running for five days straight you can't run very fast
or hard. Ginta closed his eyes and fell where he was running. His younger brother ran past him and got no more than two feet away until he collapsed, too.
As Kouga ran at a leisurely pace for himself, he saw a young female girl in front of him. The girl turned and looked at him and he turned sideways and leaned down on the foot behind him. As dirt and rocks flew up around the girl, she screamed and held her hands over her head.
Kouga opened his blue eyes to see a girl with long black hair who looked about 18. She had dark hazel eyes and from her expression it seemed to him like he was going to have a headache all day.

Jaken was sleeping under the shade of the Goshinboku when he caught the scent of a thunderstorm. His bulbous yellow eyes opened to see a black haired demon wearing armor like that of the legendary Thunder Brothers once had.
Deciding that the youkai in front of him was a grave robber, Jaken leapt to his toad-like feet and brandished the Staff of Heads in front of him; swinging it back and forth like an incredibly deadly and sharp sword.
“Youkai; I am the servant of the great and powerful Sesshomaru-sama!” Jaken informed the demon who merely looked bored at the sound of Sesshomaru's name.
“You must be his bag-carrier.” The youkai snickered as he leapt into the Goshinboku.
“Baka! I am Lord Sesshomaru's most loyal servant!” Jaken cried, shaking the Staff back and forth furiously.
The youkai smirked and closed his eyes. “Really. Then you must be disobeying his orders if you are here; instead of being in his chambers so he can use you mercilessly to relieve himself instead of finding some male youkai he might fall in love with. Considering no one in their right mind could love a creature like you.” The youkai opened his right eye and peered at the imp. “Am I close?”
“You vile-!” Jaken shook with fury at the youkai's words. “Feel the wrath of the Staff of Heads!” Jaken twisted the staff around so that the old man faced the youkai. Jaken heard light snoring and looked at the youkai and fell over in exasperation.
Hiten had fallen asleep.

The girl in front of Kouga placed her hands on her hips and glared at Kouga. “You damned wolf! You could have killed me! Why don't you watch where you're going next time?”
Kouga growled and raised a clenched fist in front of his face. “Why were you standing in the middle of the road, wench?”
The girl pursed her lips and glared at Kouga. “Not that it's any of your business, I was waiting for someone!”
Kouga rolled his blue eyes. “Yeah right, I know what you were doing you little har-” Kouga stopped mid sentence as the girl kicked him in the leg. Kouga looked down at his leg and back to the girl and raised an eyebrow.
“Go away, oukami.” The girl said crossly as she turned towards the dark sanctum of the forest of Inuyasha.
“Whatever bitch.” Kouga made a move to walk away when he felt someone grab his ponytail.
“You disgusting piece of garbage! Why do you have to taunt the girl you killed?” The girl snapped.
“I haven't killed humans in years. “ Kouga's brow furrowed. “But...maybe my wolves did it before I met Kagome...”
“You mean Kagome-nee-san?” The girl asked.
“I never knew Kagome had a sister that could come back through the well.” Kouga said as his face twisted into a incredulous mask.
“What well? And I call her that since she helped Lord Sesshomaru take care of me with her strange medical supplies, from a place called `Toe-key-oh'.”
“Ah, you're Sesshomaru's ward, Rin, aren't you?” Kouga asked as he freed his ponytail from Rin's grasp.
“Yes, your wolves killed me for sport and Sesshomaru-sama revived me with his sword of life.”
“Sword of life? Is that even possible?” As Kouga mulled it over, Rin glared at him.
“Aren't you going to apologize?” Rin demanded.
“For what?” Kouga asked as he sized Rin up.
“Your dumb wolves killed me! Now apologize!” Rin said as calmly as she could.
“Oh, yeah, right, gomen ne.” Kouga said half-heartedly.
Ever since that damn kitsune mated with Ayame, Kouga had been shifting back into his old habits of killing humans. He had watched as Inuyasha kissed Kagome, and then had turned to his other side and had watched as Shippo kissed Ayame. He had told himself that he didn't feel anything for either of them, but still he felt his heart break every time he saw that damned memory.
Kouga looked at Rin. Her long black hair fell over her shoulders. Her hazel eyes were filled with warmth and happiness, but with her current situation there was a tint of anger and...Something else Kouga couldn't name. She was about as tall as Kagome used to be, and came up to his shoulders. She had a little waist and slender legs from what he could see through her kimono.
“Excuse me, yeah, hi; are you going to stop gawking at me?” Rin asked, snapping him out of his reverie. Kouga opened his mouth to say something when Jaken came running out with a black-haired thunder youkai behind him. Jaken yelped as the youkai's weapon sent a small jolt of electrocution through his tiny imp body.
“Now you'll be sure not to insult Kagome when I'm around!” The youkai said as he rested the weapon against his shoulder. Jaken merely fell to his stomach while the air was filled with roasting imp and burnt clothes.
“Kagome?” within milliseconds, Kouga left Rin and ran to the youkai who fried Jaken. “How do you know Kagome?”
“She's my mate.” The youkai scoffed.
“What?!”

Kagome opened her eyes when she heard Kouga's scream. Rubbing her eyes she got to her feet and ventured out of the hut. No one was around.
“What?” she asked herself as she walked to Inuyasha's Forest.
As she walked up the gently sloping hill, she allowed her mind to wander on some things. The first thing that came into her mind was Hiten. Kagome had checked the Tama, and found that it was complete. But then why were there shards in Hiten's forehead? `I'll have to remove them and study them.' She decided. She remembered Hiten's pale face. `After I allow him some of my blood.' Kagome reached up and touched the bite mark on her neck. She gingerly touched it with her fingers and gasped when she felt aroused. Kagome blushed as she removed her fingers. Dammit if that didn't feel good. Kagome made sure no one was around and touched it again.
`Ok, now that that's out of my system....' she thought as the feeling didn't quite leave her.
Kagome closed her eyes and tried to concentrate on the jewel shards. She felt the familiar tingle in her stomach and she altered her course eastward as she tracked Hiten down.
Thorns and branches bit into her bare arms. Kagome was so busy concentrating on the shards that she didn't even realize the blood oozing down her arms. Kagome saw Hiten and she ran out to the other side.
`Huh, Kouga, what's he doing here?'
