Chapter 3: The Date

 

 

“So Kagome, what do you want to listen to?” Sasaia asked as he actually drove the speed limit for a change.

 

“I don't know, I know you like Tom Jones, do you have the Jools Holland album?” Kagome said, completely surprising Sasaia seeing as he thought that he was the only Tom Jones fan in school.

 

“Uh… yeah. Sorry just wasn't expecting you to like TJ also.” Sasaia said as he put in the album, changing it to his favorite song: Linda Lu.

“There's a lot you don't know about me” Kagome muttered, forgetting for 10 seconds that Sasaia was part Inu-Youkai.

 

“What if I want to know more?” Sasaia whispered in her ear as he moved his head closer to hers, almost close enough for their lips to brush against each others.

 

“Sasaia” She practically moaned as his lips, ever so gently, brushed up against hers. She was so intoxicated by him that she thought they were still driving though they were actually parked around the back of their destination.

 

“Come on beautiful, let's go.” Sasaia said as he ran around the other side of the car to open her door for her. Sasaia's eyes met hers and she blushed a little as they did since she just realized what had happened.

 

“Why did we park around back?” Kagome said while Sasaia closed her door and walked her through a door with “Employee's only” on it.

 

“If the owner knows me it won't be a problem, and plus too much publicity going through the front doors, and I really don't want the first date to turn into a big interview, especially for you, I don't want you to go through that.” Sasaia said affectionately. Kagome couldn't help but admire him as so many other people did. “Ah, there's Inuyasha, Yash!” Sasaia yelled to get his brothers attention and hoping that he would click with the person he was hoping he would.

 

When Inuyasha first laid eyes on Kagome, he thought that he had fallen asleep where he sat, and was dreaming because he was looking at the most beautiful person he had ever seen in his life. Although Inuyasha has 100 percent loyalty to his brother, he couldn't help but feel jealous of his brother for having such a beauty for a date.

 

Realizing his brother was nearly drooling over Kagome he said while waving a hand in front of his face. “You there bro?”

 

Finally having come back to reality Inuyasha said. “Yeah, sorry, names Inuyasha Takomi. Nice to meet ya.” Sasaia grinned as Inuyasha shook Kagome's hand.

 

“Kagome Higurashi, nice to meet you too.” She said as she shook Inuyasha's hand. Kagome couldn't help but smile at herself as she looked at Inuyasha, his face was so calming and kind. And she couldn't stop staring at his fluffy dog ears.

 

“Kagome!” Sango yelled from the front doors, breaking Kagome out of her daze. She turned around to see Sango wearing a light blue t-shirt, a pair of semi-torn jeans and a pair of black Puma Saloh Womens. Her hair was pulled back in a high ponytail.

 

“Sango, Miroku!” Kagome yelled as she ran over to them to give them both a hug.

 

After they were all introduced, Sasaia asked everybody what they wanted and walked up to the front desk to order.

“Sasaia you're not seriously going to eat all of that are you?” Sango asked looking at the pile of thirty tacos and six bottles of hot sauce that was spread out in front of him. (A.N.: Bert's Chuck Wagon is a real restaurant where I live and between me and my friend (the one who Reoku is based off of) we can finish off thirty tacos and six bottles of hot sauce.)

 

“Yep.” Sasaia said as he grabbed the last bottle of hot sauce from the table behind them. He hardly noticed the looks he was getting from his friends until he looked at Kagome who looked like she was about to have a heart attack. “What?” Sasaia asked as he poured an entire bottle of hot sauce on a tray of tacos.

 

“Are you seriously going to eat that with all of that hot sauce?” Kagome asked while still exasperated at Sasaia.

 

“It's not like it'll be too hot or bad for me, I metabolize my food faster as a demon than a human so it pretty much goes straight through me, that's why its hard for me to get drunk.” Sasaia said as he finally started on his mountain of tacos.

 

10 Minutes later

 

“Alright Sasaia, now I've got a reason to be here, I've been coming here for years, what's yours?” Reoku asked as he spotted his friend from the front desk at Bert's. Sasaia grinned at him through bites of his tacos. Reaching for his coke, Sasaia accidentally grabbed a hot sauce bottle instead and chugged half of it before noticing that it wasn't quite as crisp as Coke.

 

“Hmm, I think I might have to buy a batch of this from them, tastes pretty good solo.” Sasaia said as he looked at the plain red bottle as if he had never seen it before. All of his friends looked as if they had just seen a ghost.

 

“Dude I know you did not just chug half a bottle of their special sauce.” Reoku said as he motioned his girlfriend, Tia, to sit down then he followed suit.

 

“Apparently I did.” Sasaia said as he took a swig of his coke. “Guess nobody'll be kissing me tonight.” He said through sips of his soda. Kagome blushed slightly then laughed after he had said that.

 

“So, you guys have kissed right?” Sango asked Kagome in a whisper as she pulled her closer.

 

Kagome quickly turned the shade of Sasaia's suit shirt. “Yeah, but it was more like a dream than an actual kiss. It only lasted for about two seconds.” Kagome whispered back as she moved her eyes to Sasaia to see if he was watching her. `Thank Kami' Kagome thought to herself as he wasn't looking at her, but whispering to Reoku.

 

“Two things. One: Guarantee you she's lookin at me right now. And two: who's this chick?” Sasaia asked Reoku as he inhaled her scent trying to find out everything about her that he could. At first he thought that he was just smelling Kagome's arousal but this was something much crisper, more like fear but not exactly. `Indifference. She doesn't know how to feel around a KaiYoukai and a Hanyou.' Sasaia finally decided on as Reoku told him that her name was Tia and that he had been in love with her since kindergarten.

 

“You guys don't mind if I light up do ya?” Reoku asked as he reached into his pants pocket to grab a joint.

 

“Nope.” They all said in unison except for Sasaia.

 

“Don't smoke weed, just cigs cause Kaiya's pregnant and I don't want the father of her child to whoop my ass for letting her get a contact high and possibly fucking up the birth.” Sasaia whispered as he leaned closer to Reoku again. Now instead of smoking a joint he pulled out a cigarette and lit up.

“You guys almost ready to go?” Sasaia asked as he finished his last taco seconds before Reoku did, deeming Sasaia the winner of who could eat 20 tacos the fastest.

 

“Yep” Most of them said as they took their part of the bill and handed it to Sasaia.

 

“Ha, guys you don't have to chip in. I'll pay it's fine.” Sasaia said as he stood and went over to the front desk to pay with his black card. He made a summoning gesture at Kagome. “Tell your brother that I said Congrats seven months in advance after I leave. He'll most certainly know what it means, and if he doesn't, tell him to call me.” Sasaia said as he took his card back from the cashier and put it back into his wallet.

 

As Kagome looked Sasaia's wallet, she saw a picture that intrigued her. Grabbing the wallet from him and reopening it she said. “Sasaia, who's that?” pointing at the young woman of her mid 40's.

 

“That's Inuyasha's mum, I treat her like a mother considering what happened to mine.” Sasaia stated sadly as his face changed to sad from happy. Kagome couldn't help but feel like an idiot for asking. “Don't worry about it; it doesn't bother me that much anymore.” Sasaia said as his face went back to happy. He put a hand on the small of her back and walked over to their friends. “All right, if you guys don't mind im friggin beat so we're gonna head out if you guys wanna make plans throw me a call.” Sasaia said as he picked up a bottle of hot sauce that wasn't quite finished.

 

“All right guys, see you in school on Monday.” Miroku said as he stood up and stretched making sure to plant a nice groping on sango's butt. Of course five seconds afterwards he was sitting down with a red hand mark across his face.

“Alright, are you ready for a real ride now?” Sasaia asked as he threw in his Homework album by Daft Punk and drove out from behind the parking lot of Bert's.

 

As Kagome quickly buckled her seatbelt, Sasaia changed the song to Da Funk and she started swaying her body to the rhythm of the song.

 

“Wow, I didn't know you liked Daft Punk that much Kags.” Sasaia said while he looked over at the girl in his car who was dancing to the music. Kagome blushed realizing how enthusiastically she was rocking her body to the music. “Heh, no need to be embarrassed, nothing but friends in this car.” Sasaia said as he looked out her window, he grinned and grabbed her hand, nodding his head in the direction of the people in the car beside them laughing at what they had just seen “Not too sure about them though.” Kagome, who was still stunned by Sasaia grabbing her hand, had been oblivious to the people who were laughing at her until Sasaia pointed them out. Kagome almost immediately tried to lower herself out of the people's view until Sasaia squeezed her hand a bit to make her comfortable: it did.

“So you gonna let me in?” Sasaia asked in a silky voice which made Kagome's thoughts go every which way. He grinned as he smelt all of the different smells coming off of Kagome as she dropped her keys and picked them up.

 

“Uh sure, be quiet though because gramps is probably sleeping.” Kagome almost whispered as she fumbled to get the key in the lock. Kagome walked through the doorway and kicked off her shoes, motioning Sasaia to do the same.

 

After following Kagome into the kitchen to get some tea, Sasaia sat at the table and started fiddling with his Zippo as he usually did when he was sleepy. “Actually if you don't mind Kagome, I'd prefer a bottle of water if you have any. I'm not the biggest tea person.” Sasaia said as he leaned back in his chair damn near falling asleep.

 

“Umm, okay I think Kairo got some Nestle water, that's like the only thing he drinks. I swear he could live off of it if he could substitute food for water.” Kagome said as she stifled a laugh as Kairo had entered the room, surprised that Sasaia wasn't shit-faced drunk. Little did either of them know he was very much so.

 

“Man, this is surprising, he's usually shit-faced by now. Holding off for a certain reason Sasaia?” Kairo asked as he himself grabbed another bottle of water and looked at his friend who was drinking his bottle of water.

 

“Aye, fook you sir. And if you must know I am almost shit-faced, we had to have a few drinks after that business meeting I was in.” Sasaia said blatantly, looking through his bottle and at Kagome.

 

“Aha.” Kairo interjected before Sasaia could say that he just so happened to need more than the others.

 

“So, you really can't stay drunk for prolonged amounts of time can you?” Kagome asked through sips of her lemon tea. While Kagome questioned his friend, Kairo managed to slip off back into his room where gods know what happens in there.

 

“Nup, but it also makes me extremely tired after about four hours.” Sasaia plainly stated as he threw his bottle away and reached for another.

 

“If you don't think that you can drive home, you can sleep on the couch in the living room, but count on having thirty sutras on your head by the time you wake up though.” Kagome bursted out as she almost fell out of her chair from laughter. Sasaia started laughing as well.

 

“Yeah, I think I'm going to go lie down for a while, if you want to do something just wake me up.” Sasaia told her as he stood up and started walking towards their living room. Kagome followed suit.

 

“Just come up to my room if you need something. It's the third door on the right.” Kagome blushed at her own boldness.

 

Sasaia grinned and said. “Heh, if I come up to your room, getting something for sleep will be the last thing on my mind.” Again Kagome turned the color of Sasaia's shirt as she started to become aroused.

 

“Well, be sure to come up then.” Kagome said as he slowly ascended the stairs, leaving in a stupor. He grinned again and laid down, marking what she said.

`Oh my god I can't believe I just said that!' Kagome thought as she went into her room. When she got to her room she stripped down, while making sure to lock the door incase Sasaia took her word to heart, and changed into her pajamas.

Having been woken by something, Kagome started to get up off of her bed but was stopped by an arm that had snaked itself around her waist. She heard a deep rumble from behind her, she almost became scared before she found out who had wrapped their arm around her.

 

“Don't.” Sasaia mumbled as he pulled Kagome closer to his larger form. She slowly started to relax as she found out who the arm belonged to.

 

“Kay.” Kagome whispered as she tried to get as close to Sasaia as she could, never wanting the moment to end.

 

“Don't leave please.” Sasaia practically begged as he placed he face in the crook of her neck.

 

“Never.” Kagome assured him, placing a hand on his, as they both drifted back to sleep.

Ooooooo, Sasaia and Kagome in bed together! Juicy content maybe? Noooooo Kagome is too innocent… or is she? Haha you have to find out!

 

Yay for finally having finished this chapter. I've been really busy with stuff that just keeps coming to me for later chaps, so I hope you guys aren't displeased when it's released.
