Chapter 4: Explanations and Advice

 

Knock, Knock, Knock

 

“Ah horse shit.” Sasaia grunted from under the covers as somebody knocked on the door. He hurriedly got out of the bed and woke a very beautiful sleeping Kagome who wasn't all to pleased to get woken up as early as she had.

 

“Huh?” Kagome inquired through half open eyes and a groggy voice. Sasaia grinned and leaned over the side of the bed to give her a chaste kiss on the lips which caught Kagome off guard.

 

“So, you gave it up that fast huh Kagome?” Kairo asked as he bit into an orange he had gotten from the kitchen prior to coming to her room. He wasn't expecting to have an already broken alarm clock chucked at his head, which he just barely dodged.

 

“Oh, come on man, you know I wouldn't do that. Besides I think this one's different.” Sasaia said as he walked over to his friend and winked at Kagome before he went downstairs to get the breakfast that was undoubtedly being cooked by Kagome's mom.

“Morning Miss Higurashi!” Sasaia said as he entered the kitchen, smelling the bacon, ham-and-cheese omelet, and orange juice. She turned around and smiled as he took a seat at one of the chairs at the kitchen table.

 

“Hello Sasaia, how are you this fine morning?” she asked as she turned back to the food and started scrapping his food onto the plate next to the stove. She grabbed the plate and placed it in front of a hungry young man. He thanked her and started in on his food.

 

“Meh, so-so, I got woken up by your inconsiderate son.” Sasaia said as he started laughing. Miss Higurashi heard some giggling from behind and saw Kagome giggling at Sasaia who had some yoke on his thin stripe of facial hair he had that ran from one sideburn to the next. “What?” Sasaia asked when he saw Kagome giggling at him. She walked over to him and used his napkin to wipe away the yoke. She smiled at him as he mouthed an “O.”

 

“Ah so now you've stayed the night. Great next you'll be moving in and having demon babies running around the house!” Gramps yelled from the stairs as he slowly made his way towards the group of people that were congregated in the kitchen.

 

“Hey old man, I'll have you know that my little demon babies will be worse than me so I'd watch out!” Sasaia exclaimed as the old man continued towards them, but he had something behind his back.

 

“Maybe….. this will work!” Grandpa yelled as he, yet again, pulled out a sacred sutra and attempted to purify Sasaia and just like last time, Sasaia took it off with his right index and middle finger except this time the sutra burned when he took it off.

 

“Old man, the day your sutra does a thing to me is the day that hell freezes over and pigs grow wings and fly, so I'd suggest that you stop wasting them on me.” Sasaia said as he finally finished his breakfast and took a drink of his orange juice.

 

“Sasaia, how did you do that?” A surprised Kagome asked from the freezer as she grabbed a bottle of water for herself and Kairo. Sasaia chuckled and finished his orange juice.

 

“You think that I would be made a KaiYoukai for being a lesser demon? I'm of DaiYoukai blood and plus I lived with Miroku at the monastery he grew up at for several years. So I naturally erected a barrier to anything that will purify me. Oh, and my father wants to have dinner with you guys, his words to me were `I would very much so like to meet the parents of my middle son's future wife!'” Sasaia told them as he put his plate and glass away. `Wait, middle son?' Kagome asked herself.

 

“What are we supposed to wear?” Miss Higurashi asked intriguingly while he washed his dishes. He smiled and turned off the water to turn around to look at them.

 

“It's nothing fancy, just wear whatever you want to. My mother and father aren't too partial to anything formal outside of business, especially my mother, she doesn't like getting dressed up very often.” He said, looking at them.

Sasaia grabbed his phone and saw “Jakotsu (Fag)” on his phone so he slid it open and muttered a quick “excuse me” and was out the door.

 

“Yo, what do you want fag?” Sasaia asked as he sat under Goshinboku, taking in the heavenly smell of the cherry blossoms. Kagome walked out shortly after he did and joined him on the bench.

 

“Aw, Sasaia you're hurting me.” Jakotsu said in a high girly voice. Sasaia grunted and put an arm around Kagome's shoulders and she leaned into his chest.

 

“Yeah well, maybe if you hadn't told most of my friends that we had sex then maybe I'd have a little bit more morality towards you… jackass.” Sasaia bellowed into his phone earning a wayward and confused look from Kagome. He looked down at her with a look of “I'll explain in a minute.”

 

“Yeah, you just keep on believing that, anyway, Bankotsu wants to know if you want us to go to France with you guys.” Jakotsu said as he almost instantly changed from his girly voice to his serious tone that only a few people knew. Sasaia heard a loud roaring laugh from the background and thought `Reoku and Bankotsu.'

 

“Yeah I want you seven there cause with Reoku's hard headedness I worry about somebody trying to hit him.” Sasaia coldly told Jakotsu as rested his chin on Kagome's head and smirked.

 

“Okay then sweetie I'll see you then! Ta-ta!” Jakotsu exclaimed yet again in his squeaky girly voice. Sasaia started growling and sat up straight.

 

“Sod off!” Sasaia chastised before he slid his phone shut and put it in his pocket. “Yeah, about that: one night I went partying with your brother and the band of seven was there and you know I got really really wasted and your brother had already driven back here….dirty bastard. So I had to stay at that house and I was so wasted that when I finally laid down to sleep, I fell asleep in the same bed as one of their members and well it just so happened to be Jakotsu, the gay guy in the group and ever since he has tried to tell everybody that we did it even though I always dispute the fact and I know it's not true.” Sasaia said taking short breaths in-between sentences. Kagome still looked at him puzzled and he smiled and kissed her softly on the lips and to his surprise she deepened the kiss slowly sliding her tongue over his lips. Of course as Sasaia had been through a million times, he quickly vaulted his tongue into her mouth, wanting to taste every inch of her mouth. Parting only for air, they quickly found themselves in the same situation seconds later.

 

“Ahem.” A voice interjected interrupting the two who were completely lost in each other. Sasaia emitted a low growl and turned around to see Kairo standing above them with a box on his right shoulder, and having noticed it was Kairo, Sasaia stopped growling and just looked at him as he squinted because he was facing the sun. “If you don't mind Kagome, I'd like to steal him for a sec, need to move some of dad's old stuff.” Kagome yet again started blushing at what had happened and nodded. Sasaia reluctantly stood up and followed Kairo to one of the many small storage huts they had around the shrine.

“Alright muscles, I can definitely tell some variable has changed in your equation, so how's this gonna go down now?” Kairo asked as they started piling boxes on top of each other and were moving some of them outside of the hut.

 

“Man, just follow my lead; you know that this will make them both happier, especially Inuyasha, but uh….just grunt or something if I go to overboard around you.” Sasaia said as he easily picked up two boxes and carried them to the house.

 

“Yeah, I'll keep that in mind.” Kairo muttered as he took out his cell and called some random person.

“Enter.” A voice said from behind a large wooden door. So Sasaia did and gave a low bow as he walked towards a chair in front of a large desk.

 

“Grandfather, I come to you for aid. Within these last few days, I have been feeling, I don't know, just evil and it's screwing up all of my plans for my younger brother which I'm sure my father has informed you of. And the more I think about it and try and control it the worse it gets, I mean last night I slept at Kagome's house and halfway through the night, my body just got up and started walking up to her room and I don't even remember it opening the door, all I remember is going from one side to another.” Sasaia admitted as he intertwined his fingers together and bowed his head.

 

His grandfather stopped writing whatever it was to give Sasaia some consent and advice. “Sasaia, my grandson, I think that your inner demon disagrees with your plan and is rebelling against you, I think it wants to keep Kagome for itself. And I can almost guarantee you that you won't stop it. KaiYoukai blood is one of the, if the not the most, powerful things to date. It has eaten men alive from the inside out and if it becomes too much of a burden, the council will kill you without a second thought to suppress any possibility of a massacre. And as an ex-KaiYoukai myself, I can tell you from experience that it will fuck your life up, I almost lost your grandmother over it had it not been for my being so in love with her.” Sasaia's grandfather reassured him as he stood and sat on the seat next to Sasaia, patting him on the back in an attempt to comfort him.

 

“I'm just afraid that I'll do something with her or to her that I don't want to do, I mean she's one of the most beautiful human women I've ever seen, but she's not for me. And the worst thing about it is, is “she” isn't here to control me. If she were here I wouldn't have this problem.” Sasaia said as his arms started shaking and his grandfather having noticed this ruffled his hair and wrapped an arm around his shoulder.

 

“You'll be alright Sasaia, you've always been able to quell this thing in the past, and plus you're no weak man, I've seen you do feats that neither myself nor your father could ever do.” He reassured him again and told him that he had work to do. Right as Sasaia was opening the door to leave, he got an idea. “Actually Sasaia, if you really aren't sure of yourself, bring her by here and I'll do a thorough examination of the girl.” He said through a large smile. Sasaia smiled back at him, bowed, and left his grandparents house but of course not before getting some of his grandmother's world famous brownies.

“Hey Sango, what are you up to?” Kagome asked as she read some random magazine. Kagome heard a laugh from the background followed by an even louder one and then she heard somebody yelled “Dude Yash oh my god that was frigging funny as hell!”

 

“Eh, nothing just watching “Kung Pow: Enter The Fist” with Yash and Miroku, and as you can probably hear, they're enjoying it a bit. Oh, how'd it go with Sasaia after you guys left?” Sango asked in a giddy school girl voice as she took out a bottle of water from the fridge and threw it at Inuyasha.

 

“OY! That fuckin hurt!” Inuyasha screamed from the couch while rubbing the back of his head. He leaned his head over the back of the couch to see Sango standing there sticking her tongue out at him.

 

“Sorry Yash but I've got tourettes.” Sango said sarcastically while she walked out of her house and onto the back porch leaving an angered hanyou to rub his head.

 

Kagome gave a nervous chuckle and flipped the page. “Actually he stayed over.” Kagome said worried about what Sango might say. Sango started to grin evilly.

 

“Aaaaand?” Sango asked as if they had done something. (A.N: Poor Kagome, she has the worst of friends. Always assuming)

 

“And what? We didn't do anything, although I did say something that I really didn't think I was going to say, and then halfway through the night he apparently took it to heart and I woke up and he was sleeping in my bed.” Kagome accidentally blurted out the last part not even thinking because she saw a picture of Sasaia and his father (she was guessing) standing side by side.

 

“You guys slept together?!” Sango pretty much yelled as she looked out from her porch to see the hustle bustle of Tokyo.

 

“NO! We just slept in the same bed, even though I remember locking the door when I changed into my pajamas, and I know he didn't break it or go through the window because it's always locked.” Kagome pondered as she went back through her thoughts of the night before.

 

“Okay, because if he had done something I was about to whoop some ass.” Sango said coldly as she heard the boys burst out in laughter yet again. She looked out at the large city and all of its magnificence.

 

“All we did was kiss a few times; Kairo interrupted us once because he needed to borrow Sasaia then he left shortly after. I think he said something about consulting his grandfather for some issue he was having.” Kagome blatantly told Sango as she read the article on Sasaia and his father.

 

It read: “Inu no Taisho Takomi and Sasaia Takomi, father and son taking over the business world of Japan and the mainland. Sasaia Takomi, only a 17 year old high school student, already has more respect and valor in the business world than even his father, or his grandfather the great SeiryÅ« Takomi, who saw the rise of western power and managed to manipulate it into that which would very soon become the Takomi empire. Inu no Taisho and his family, which consists of himself, his wife Izayoi Takomi, his eldest son Sesshomaru Takomi, Sesshomaru's twin Sasaia Takomi, and they're youngest son, Inuyasha Takomi, live in a rebuilt Chiyoda Castle, in the ward of Chiyoda. The rebuilding of Chiyoda castle also brought much media to the family, and Sasaia and Inu no Taisho are always being pestered by the paparazzi, especially Sasaia as he has been to movie premiere's in America and did a short modeling gig, he was also with international electronica stars Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo during they're concert in Bercy, Paris, France, Alive 1997, as an additional DJ. Inuyasha Takomi, the youngest in the family, went through major depression because of a girlfriend that had apparently used his brother to get to him and leak hidden info to a person who wanted the Takomi family to suffer. With Inuyasha's ambition he willed his way through a fight with son of China business Dynamo, Hyoga Tarasu, which led to the woman who had deceived Sasaia and his brother's banishment from any major city within Japan or the mainland by the DaiYoukai International Council. Although his twin Sesshomaru has nowhere near as much popularity as Sasaia, even though he is well known within the business world as a ruthless negotiator. Sasaia Takomi is currently dating a young girl at his school by the name of Kagome Higurashi, brother of renowned soccer star, Kairo Higurashi, who is coincidentally Sasaia's best friend.”

 

“Sorry Sango, but I've gotta go; Sasaia's calling me. I'll talk you later bye.” Kagome said quickly as she switched calls. “Hey Sasaia.”

 

“Hey Kagome, um I was wondering if you would like to come to Kyoto with me, my grandpa lives in the imperial palace, and I want you to meet him and my grandmother.” He said coolly as he slowly drove over to her house, almost knowing for sure that she would go with him.

 

“Uhhh…. really, you'd take me out there?” Kagome asked completely exasperated at what he had just asked her. He wanted her to go to Kyoto with him and to go into the imperial palace no less!

 

He laughed heartily then stopped when he noticed she was being serious. “Well yeah Kagome, I mean according to this magazine we are dating now, and I know my grandmother would absolutely love to meet you.” Sasaia said seriously as he came around a street near Kagome's house. She barely heard the high-compression sound of his Toyota AE86 GTS Trueno as he neared her house rapidly.

 

“Ok, I'll be down in a sec, bye.” She said energetically as she ran out of her room into the living room shouting she was going to Kyoto with Sasaia for a little while and she'd be back later, which left Kagome's mom in a stupor.

“Grandpa, we're here!” Sasaia yelled from the bottom of the huge flight of stairs at the castle. The valet took his keys and drove the car into the underground garage. Kagome, having rarely been outside of Tokyo was flabbergasted when she saw the first gate and her mouth was still wide open as they ascended the stairs.

 

“Sasaia! So nice to see you, how long has it been? 3 hours?” The DaiYoukai bellowed as he gave his grandson a big hug seeing Kagome from the corner of his Amber eyes that was shared throughout the Takomi family save Sasaia.

 

Sasaia chuckled “Guess so old man, so where's grandma?” He questioned quietly, gazing through his grandfather. Kagome shifted to get more comfortable with Sasaia's arm around her neck. Chuckling, Sasaia followed his grandfather's outstretched hand pointed at the kitchen area, which was about the size of Kagome's downstairs.

 

“Sasaia-sama, who is this you've brought to our humble abode?” Chihiro asked her grandson, whom she refers to as sama because of his Kai-Youkai status, only currently standing or previous Kai-Youkai can call a standing Kai-Youkai anything but sama. Many speculate that such a rule implies that Kai-Youkai are the leaders of the Youkai world but this isn't true. Although they do have the highest position in any Youkai society, their role in the society is not to rule, but to keep the doors between the worlds from opening.

 

Sasaia smiled and softly grabbed Kagome's left hand with his right. “This grandmother, is Kagome Higurashi, Kairo's younger sister and my girlfriend.” Kagome looked at him and smiled, leaning on his right shoulder before quickly having forgot her manners and muttering a quick “sorry” and giving a deep bow.

Omg! I have had the hardest time finishing this chapter. So many little, and big, things came up that prevented me from even touching this story for almost a year. I am still keeping the story on the same page but there will be a few changes as much of what it was based off of has changed.
