Hey everybody! This is my second fic on Mediaminer and I'm so majorly excited! I know my summary totally sucked but with the short amount of characters you can use it's perty tuff yal! Hehe, so please please please review and tell me what you think of my first chapter! I so need opinions and hey, you can even gimme some more ideas of what I should put in my story!!! As she walked into the dorm room she noticed many boxes and things already inside the room. She set her things down opposite of her new roommates stuff and sat on her bed. "What a day" Kagome sighed and tried not to give in to her sleepiness. "What classes do I have today?" she opened the envelope that contained her schedule and scanned through the classes. She didn't notice her new roommate walk in the door and sit on the bed across from her. "Hi-ya, My names Sango and by the looks of it you're my new roomy!!!" Kagome lifted her head to meet Sango's smiling face. "Oh, hello, nice to meet you Sango, I'm Kagome"

They both respectfully greeted each other and exchanged schedules. "Cool we have Chem and English together" said Sango. Kagome responded with a sweet smile. "I still have so much to unpack…guess I better get started on it now huh?" Kagome sighed, she was already tired as it was. "I'll help you, I only have my books to get out so lets get this place settled in! What do ya say?" Sango was as cheery as ever and that's just what Kagome needed to lift up her spirits. She smiled again and responded with a happy nod and they continued to unpack her stuff.

"Dude , I saw the hottest chick today!" Miroku squealed with laughter. "You see the hottest chick ever day you lecher" smirked Inuyasha. **They had been there for a year now and seemed pretty adjusted to everything. Miroku of course was the infamous lecher that all the girls loathed and Inuyasha, well…he was just the opposite. All the girls at the college loved him. His tan skin, his long black hair, his muscular figure…everything. He was the school bad boy! and all the girls fell for the bad boy's… He was the star of the show, a very talented guitarist that loved to play his heart out. Yup…all the girls were in love…**

"No!!! I'm not kidding this time! This girl was on fire! I mean well, I didn't get that great of a look at her face but she had the body of a goddess!" Miroku danced around happily at his new discovery. "Come one man, she's new… maybe we could show her around and stuff" Miroku was on his knees at this point, but finally gave up when Inuyasha said he was going to go to the lounge, when that was said, there was no changing his mind. Miroku of all people would know, Inuyasha was attached to the lounge. **The lounge was like an oversized more music, more relax…bring your book and read or like laptop and type kinda place. For Inuyasha it was just a quiet place to chill and clear his mind.** He grabbed his guitar and exited the room. Miroku just sat there…"but she was sooooo hot man!!!"

"Fewh ….I'd thought this would never end" sighed that very tired Sango. By then they had all of Kagomes stuff settled into the room and now all they needed was some time off. "I'm beat, I'm crashing, care to join?" asked Sango. "No thanks, I'm not really tired…Hey is there some place quiet where I can write?" asked Kagome. "Sure, there's the lounge just downstairs, it's the perfect place to do school stuff" "Thanks Sango, see you tomorrow" With that Kagome was out the room and into the elevator. As she waited for the floor to come up she heard the most beautiful sound. It was absolutely breath taking…such music could only be played by god himself, she thought. **It was magical music from an acoustic guitar, beautiful chords and strings danced together with a perfect tune.**

Kagome entered the lounge and took a seat a nearby couch. She looked for where the music was coming from but could not see anyone. 'a recording' she sighed. Such music was undoubtedly made by a recording of a professional. She sighed again and scanned that room. Then in the corner of her eye she saw him. A man, he looked half dog demon and half human. 'A hanyou? At this school?' she thought to herself. 'How strange' she thought. 'I'm surprised he hasn't been caught for that yet…' she sighed. He was using a cloaking spell to hide his ears, claws, and white hair. However, being a miko, Kagome could see right through his barrier. 'Interesting' she thought. Kagome continued to listen to him strum notes and play, she was at complete ease and was finally relaxed.

She opened up her lyrics book and continued to write her latest song. **For as long as she could remember she sang. She had the voice of a goddess and that was no lie. She used to sing for everyone and lift their spirits, but then…that day shut her voice down for good. That day, her family was slaughtered by a cruel and heartless demon that was after the sacred jewel. She was only eight years old and she just didn't know what to do. She wasn't powerful enough to stop him, all she could do was watch, watch in horror as her family was murdered.

Years later she was taken in and living with a family friend who was an old Priest with extremely strong spiritual powers. She was trained to be an unstoppable force that would strike down anything that got in her way. She abandoned all life to become as powerful as she could so that one day she could easily stop her enemy. From that moment on she was alone, no one would talk to her, afraid they'd get killed. As years past she just couldn't sing…all her happy, cheerful songs because they only brought her pain and tears.

She resorted to writing songs about what she felt inside about her dark past and about her stark future. Later that year Kagome found her parents will, it spoke of how she would inherit the land and shrines. It also asked one last request, that she go to college and make a proud and respectful living for herself and to always keep them in her heart. The next year she was accepted to Hiko College through a writing scholarship and she was off to fulfill her parents wish.**

Kagome glanced at the clock in the lounge and decided to leave, but before she did she stole one more look at the guitarist at the lounge. She stood there wondering about him and why he even bothered disguising himself, but petty thoughts like those just got her even more tired. She gave up on them and stepped into the elevator.

The crowd at the lounge was the same as usual…all except for one. He continued playing as he glanced at a beautiful girl with jet-black hair. She was sitting on a couch in a corner of the room writing something in what looked like a notebook. He watched and admired her from afar. 'she's new' he thought to himself and he continued to strike the cords on his guitar. He had noticed that there was a strange aura around her and that she seemed to be hiding something. He didn't bother to go and search it out, he just sat there playing, looking at her.

Ka gome finally reached the room and crashed on her bed. Sango was awake and reading one of the summer novels that they were suppose to analyze. "Hey Kagome who do you think you'll be paired with at the orientation?" asked Sango. "Huh? What are you talking about? What orientation?" Kagome was lost, had she missed an announcement when she was at the lounge? "Oh you haven't heard yet? Well, I guess each of the new students will be paired up with an old student and they teach or help them in some way…I got my pairing earlier cause I got more work then you do…I always knew Chem. Wasn't going to be easy. But anyway! He's this weird guy named Miroku, I've heard he's a total pervert, I'm afraid that I won't be able to get anything done because of it! Arg…." Sango finally paused when she realized she need air but that didn't stop her… "You know what sucks that most! I still have to go to the orientation and I need a dress for it cause it's formal so I still have to do that too! I'm so totally swamped!" Sango finished venting and Kagome was silent. "Dress?" Kagome said it just under a whisper. "Yeah…don't you own a dress?" asked Sango. "Umm….well, not really" Kagome had never had to wear a dress before, let alone go to anything that was formal. "Ok, so we both need to go dress shopping, HEY! I know, lets go this weekend, that's perfect timing!" Sango was day dreaming about her new dress when Kagome interrupted. "Do we have to go?" Sango was shocked. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN HAVE TO GO? OF COURSE WE HAVE TO GO!!!! I WON'T LET YOU MISS IT!" With that Kagome knew that there was no backing out. She was going to orientation, but about the dress…..

RRIIIIINNNNGGGG!!!!!!!! Kagome was up, she smacked the snooze button on her alarm clock, put on a black tube-top that had white palm trees on it and some black jeans, and jetted out the door. Her first class was unfortunately Math, and if anyone was failing math it was Kagome. As she listened to the teacher go on and on about whatever he was babbling, Kagome decided to visit her lyrics book again. As she started writing she didn't notice that a pair of eyes had been locked on her for sometime now. It was none other then Inuyasha.

Watching her from a distance he tried to see what she was writing in that little book of hers. Eventually the bell rang and he gave up. Walking out of the class he noticed that she left her book on her desk. He took the book with the intention of giving it back to her but just couldn't seem to find her….

Running back her room, Kagome needed to find Sango. This whole orientation thing was driving her insane. "Hey Sango?" She looked around the room but couldn't seem to find her. "Sango" she yelled again. "Dammit, where did she go?" Kagome ran out the room, not paying attention she hit a man walking toward her… *BANG* "Huh?" A gentle hand helped her up. "oh my gosh! I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going" Kagome apologized. "No big, calm down" Said the man. "you must be knew here, my name is Kouga, what's yours?" the kind man asked. "Oh, well my names Kagome, nice to meet you Kouga!" "You going to orientation?" Kouga asked shyly. "yeah" she replied. "I hope I get paired with someone as pretty as you" Kouga gave her a devilish smirk, said his good-byes and left. Shocked, Kagome just blushed and watched as he walked away. 'wow' she thought. But in the midst of her day dreaming she felt a nudge on her shoulder. "Hey, wench, you gonna move or what?" a harsh voice spoke behind her. "what did you just call me?" she said as she turned around and gasped, the man did the same….. 'it's him' thought kagome…. 'its her' thought Inuyasha. Breaking the silence Inuyasha spoke again, "I said move it wench, I'm going to be late for lit!" he said harshly trying to disguise his shock at her appearence. "How dare you call me such a foul name". "I can call you whatever I want bitch" he glared at her.

"How rude! To call such an angel that name!" Little did Kagome know, Kouga had returned and was standing right behind her locking her in between the two macho men! "What's it to you bastard!" Inuyasha countered. "I cannot stand by while you diminish such a beauty" Kouga yelled. "Like I care!" Inuyasha spoke "and you shouldn't considering she would have nothing to do with the likes of you" kouga said "yeah, right, if she would even consider a loser jock like you them she would drooling over me" Inuyasha retorted "Oh please, you're the one drooling over her, you fake" Kouga yelled "You shouldn't be talking!" Inuyasha yelled back. They went on and on her what felt like forever until…

"STOP"!!!!! Kagome yelled, she stuck her hands on there chests pushing them apart. "just stop, your acting like children fighting over a toy!" she yelled at them. "just leave me alone!" she yelled again and ran to her dorm room and locked herself in. Who cares if she missed her lit class, she just didn't want to see his face again.

Sor ry to leave you at a cliffe!! I hate those things but unfortunately I must! I know this chapter was really slow but this next ones comin right up and its gonna knock the wind outta ya!
