~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ < p>As she laid on her bed she thought about Kouga and Inu-what ever his name was…she just couldn't believe it, it was like they were fighting over her…Little by little she drifted asleep.

RIIIIIINNNGG!!! She alarm clock rang again… "oh crap, it 5:00pm!" she got up from her bed and ran her door only to smack right into Inuyasha who was about to knock on her door. Knocking him over and landing right on top of him. He looked at her with a devilish smirk and said "Going some where?" Still in shock she just stared at him…totally mesmerized. "still in shock huh?" he spoke again. She still just stared at him…breaking her eye contact she looked at his ears and thought 'those cute, white fuzzy ears' without thinking and still on top of him she reached for the ears and started to massage them making inuyasha lose all control.

His barrier broke and completely startled and confused he quickly picked her up (bridal style..muahaha) while she was still massaging his ears and ran to his own dorm room before anyone could see him. When he reached his room he quickly looked around just in case someone had seem him. Seeing no one, he opened the door, ran in, locked it, and sat on the couch. Noticing Kagome was still in his arms, still massaging his ears, and totally oblivious that they were no longer at her dorm doorway, he just closed his eyes and relaxed.

A s she sat on his lap still playing with his ears, she noticed he had closed his eyes. 'he looks so peaceful when he's like this' she thought. She looked around and analyzed her new surroundings. She looked again at Inuyasha and studied his features. He was gorgeous, she just couldn't believe it! She didn't want to admit either, but this guy was pretty good looking. He had beautiful silvery white hair that was just longer then hers, reaching down to his back, amber eyes, a totally muscular body, and those cute ears she loved so much. Just then she realized she was still in his arms, he actually had a pretty good grip on her. Trying to motion out of his hold, she moved so her body was facing his, with her legs bent back so she was still on his lap. She laid into him, resting her head in the crook of his neck.

Feeling her movement and totally shocked, he replaced his arms around her tiny waist and hugged her tight. He was in heaven, he had to say, this girl was amazing, absolutely beautiful. She had the figure of a goddess and the face of an angel. An angel that was all his, for the time being at least. Suddenly, as he laid there with her in his arms, he remembered. Jolting from his comfortable position, dropping Kagome, who was in his arms, and his ears, which were still in Kagomes hands, he gave out a loud yelp. Once again, they were on the floor, this time with a very pained Inuyasha and a starled Kagome. "What'd you do that for????" she yelled. "OUCH!!!!" he screamed. Getting out from under him, Kagome asked why he brought her here.

Rubbing his ears, he explained how she broke his cloaking barrier by touching his ears. "why do you keep that damn barrier up anyway" she asked him. "what you knew I had a barrier???" he asked confusedly. "well, sure I could sense it" she said all-knowingly. Giving her an evil smirk he asked "so what are you, a witch?" "no! oh course not, I'm a miko" she responded "what? A miko? How is that possible?" he asked stunned "my father was a youki and my mother was a miko" she said with a sad face. Bringing her head down and looking to the ground, she continued "they were murdered by a giant demon, I couldn't do anything, I was knocked out"

With small tears beginning to form in her eyes, he lifted her chin with a finger. "So that's it, that's what your songs are about, the loss of your parents right?" "I new something must have happened to you, no one can write so passionately without scars to prove it" "I loved them, they touched my heart, I can relate, I lost my parents too" confused Kagome stared at him with a blank face. Getting up from the floor, he ran to his room and grabbed the small black book that was on his bed. He handed her the book "you left it in math class, I tried to find you, but you ran off" She took the book and stared at it. 'he read my songs??' 'he thinks my songs are passionate?' 'he lost his parents too' thoughts ran through her head but she just sat there. Staring at her lost expression he moved so that he made eye contact.

With tear-filled eyes she jumped on him and hugged him tightly "thank you…thank you so much" she spoke though tears. Both laying the floor with Kagome still on top of him, he pointed to his heart and said "I only say what comes from here". Whipping her tears with his fingers, he brought them back up to the couch. "Now, I can finally tell you why I was at your door" he continued. "I wanted to tell you that you missed lit." "well, duh I knew that and it was your fault too!" she said angrily. "was not!" he yelled. "was too! You called me a bitch and a wench you asshole!" "so what, I'll call you whatever I want, wench" he snarled

At this point Kagome was heading for the door and Inuyasha was right behind her, grabbing her hand before she could get to the door. "let go" she screamed. "shut up wench, you didn't let me finish!" he screamed back. "what do you want" she calmed down a little but the anger stayed. "We were partnered up today in lit. and we have to do a play together" he said. "What play" she said unsurely. Struggling with his words he finally spat it out. "Romeo..and..uh…Juliet" he finished and stared at the ground. He got up his courage and spoke again. "look, I'm sorry for calling you a wench and all, ok?" With these words she lifted her head up to meet his eyes. "thank you" she said quietly. "hey..uh, so are you going to the orientation?" Kagome froze, the orientation, she totally forgot and she still needed a dress! "CRAP!!!" she yelled, "I have go to, I'm sorry, we'll can practice the play on Friday. That good for you?" she said "sure"

Kagome ran out the doorway and right into Kouga again. 'this is just too much' she thought to herself. "hello Kagome" he said smiling. Inuyasha peeked his head through the door and listened. "oh, hi" she said still shocked. "so your going with me to the orientation right?" he had a devilish look. Inuyasha froze….'don't say yes, 'don't say yes, 'don't say yes, 'don't say yes, 'don't say yes, 'don't say yes, 'don't say yes, 'don't say yes, 'don't say yes, 'don't say yes, ' he kept on repeating these words in his mind, shaking with anticipation. Kagome, of course, feeling Inuyasha's presence and his awkward chanting, looked up at Kouga, "uh, well I--" "can't go with you" inuyasha finished for her. He stood behind her and she was sandwiched in between the two again.

'not again' she thought. "it's her decision you helpless loser" snarled Kouga. "says who you bastard, seems like you already decided for her" Inuyasha yelled. "SAYS ME YOU JERK" Kagome screamed. Both guys had their ears flattened. "I'm not going to the orientation with ANYONE!!! Happy???" she ran down the hall and down to the lounge.

So rry to leave ya at another cliffe, I've been having some trouble piecing this all together, cause I had all my conflicts and stuff set, I just can't really mold them together yet…anyway! On a brighter note the next chapter will be up and running soon, so please read and review. I could really use some opinions!
