Yukina the Dementor of Dreams

`Where am I?'

“Why you are in the dream realm.” Said someone out of the shadows.

“Identify yourself!” the girl said.

“Hmm. A little pushy aren't you Cephren?” the person said.

“I said identify yourself! And how do you know who I am!?” Cephren said now get majorly pissed because she had no clue who this person was or how the hell she got here.

“I guess you should know,” the person said and stepped out of the shadows smirking, “I am Yukina, the Dementor of Dreams. And you my dear I have known for quite awhile.”

“So you found her like this?” asked the worried Kagome.

“Yeah,” Inuyasha said looking down at the lifeless girl he held in his arms. “She wasn't moving at all.”

“I wonder what could have happened to her.” Miroku said sounding very interested in the situation. “Can you tell us what happened?”

He shook his head. “No. For some reason all of it is a blur to me now. I can't remember anything except finding her like this.”

“Strange. Very strange.” Miroku said groping Sango.

“HENTAI!!! HIRAIKOTSU!!!!!” Sango yelled and threw her giant boomerang at Miroku hurtling him about 20 feet from where he was.

“Idiot.” Shippo said and sighed.

“Saffren are you alright?” asked a still worried Kagome.

But the girl did not answer but stared at the motionless body of Cephren in Inuyashas arms. She hadn't said a word ever since Inuyasha got back carrying Cephren in his arms.

“Saffren?”

Suddenly a thought struck her. Didn't this seem familiar? Hadn't this happened before?

She growled deeply. “Yukina.” Which got everyone's

attention.

“Who's Yukina?”

“I'll tell you later, but for now follow me.”

“What do you mean a long time?” Cephren said still demanding more answers.

“Why I was the one girl you used to play with. Remember?” she said and smirked.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*FLASHBACK~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

“Yukina!” a young girl around the age of five said. She had short red hair that reached her shoulders and to golden locks of hair on each side of her head. She also had beautiful ruby red eyes and was wearing a bright orange kimono that had gold flowers at the bottom with a red sash.

“Cephren!” the other young girl said. She had long silver hair with a violet flower tucked in her hair. Her eyes were also violet, just like the flower, and was wearing a kimono that was violet with a black sash.

“Do you want to play?” Cephren asked.

“Um, actually I can't. I'm leaving. ” she answered.

“Leaving!? Why!?” she said and burst into tears.

“I'm going to train. Don't ask me what I'm training about though. I don't know.” She said.

“I'll miss you so much!” Cephren said, still crying and ran over to give her a hug.

“I'll miss you too!” she said and then started crying to.

“Yukina!” a voice called “Time to go!”

“Cephren, promise me we will always be friends no matter what alright?” Yukina asked.

She nodded now crying as she saw her friend start walking away. “Bye! I'll never forget you!”

`That was the last time I saw her…' Cephren thought but then pushed it away. “But why have you changed so much! The Yukina I knew was pure, unlike you!You heart is filled with nothing except darkness!”

“Well things change, …in time.” she said and smirked. While you are on the weak side I am on the powerful side. Now if you were in your true form, instead of this weak human form, I might see if my master would let you join us. Wouldn't you like to be your true self? Don't you want to go back to your old life before you got rejected? Don't you want your power back!?”

“No!” she yelled but deep down she really wanted to be herself once again.

“Well then maybe this will change your mind, …with a blast from the past!” Yukina said and suddenly a bright light came from her hand, sending Cephren into a vortex of darkness and revealing her past.

“Aaahh!”

“Here we are.” Saffren said while into the cave where Inuyasha had found Cephren earlier. “Inuyasha does this place look familiar?”

“Yeah,… it does,…” he said.

“It probably does.” She said leaving everyone with a confused expression on there face.

“How could this place be familiar to Inuyasha?” Kagome asked still confused.

Because this,…is the Cave of Nightmares.”
