Kagome walked from the well toward Keada's hut. She looked into the sky then stopped as her long black hair flew across her face. She had a red sleeveless tight turtleneck dress with slits up to her mid thigh. Over that she wore a black shoulder low kimono and red bow.

She pulled back her hair and sighed,” It's been years since that day…the day everything stopped being so clear. I lost my memory of my childhood and I haven't found anything of it since. I have no memory of my childhood. I only feel that this is my home.”

Kagome looked up higher into the sky shutting her eyes then continuing to walk. Kagome heard Shippo screaming then laughed,” Inuyasha must have been his foolish self again.”

Then Shippo turned to her and smiled running over as Kagome bent down and picked him up,” Hello Shippo how are you?”

“ Fine Kagome is something wrong?”

She shook her head as Inuyasha ran over,” About time you came back wench.”

“ Like it is any of your concern Inuyasha today isn't a normal day for me.”

Sango walked outside,” Hey Kagome, you look beautiful in that kimono.”

She smiled and nodded then turned around and slapped Mirkou,” Hentai.”

Inuyasha looked at her then turned away,” Feh! Today is an important day for me too you know but you don't know a fucken thing about me.”

She set Shippo down and turned from Inuyasha,” Whatever Inuyasha, I have to go somewhere I'll be back by sunset so don't be concerned.”

Inuyasha and the others watched her go. Kagome sat on the hill as she watched the village,” Today is a windy day…not so fitting.”

Inuyasha watched her from the tree then sighed looking up to the clouds,” Today was the day Sesshomaro lost Lady Kagome of the eastern lands…he came up so bitter he used to be so kind before that. We never argued but then he lost her. I still don't get though why Kagome's feeling so bad. Minus will ask her.”

Kagome sat there then leaned back,” I am really to walk this world with no memory of whom I was born as? Give me an answer.”

“ Hey Kagome!”

She turned around,” Inuyasha? What the hell? Where you spying on me?”

He then stepped back,” Umm no, yes, no, well… Wait the better question is why is this day so important to you?”

She shook her head slowly then looked up,” I woke up on this day without a memory years ago; I have no memory of a childhood. So I don't know whom I was born as.”

He sat next to her then turned to her and for a minute he saw her hair glow gold and the sign of the East on her forehead but when he looked again she was just Kagome. He rubbed his eyes then said,” Kagome…”

“ Huh?”

“ Do you want to know why this day is so important to me?”

“ Why?”

“ This is the day my brother and I became enemies.”

“ Ha, so this is what you consider a fond memory.”

He laughed back,” No, but you know this brought up the thought you really have grown strong with your powers you know.”

She looked at her hands as lights flickered upon them then disappeared,” That was the first compliment you've ever given me Inuyasha…thank you.”

“ Feh whatever wench.” She stood up and laughed,” So I guess this is a bad luck day for both you and I.”

“ Yeah, anyway let's get back to shard hunting!!! We have to go through the western lands.”

She nodded.
