Kagome and the others walked through the Western Lands as Kagome lay on Inuyasha's back. She whined tiredly, “ Inuyasha why can't you guys let me walk I'm fine.”

 

“ No you aren't you can hardly speak and through each time I remember distinctively that the next day your energy is weakened because you are resting your body so calm down.”

 

“ You know lady Kagome Inuyasha is right.”

 

She sighed,” Fine, fine, fine.”

 

Sango smiled,” It isn't that bad Kagome.”

 

“ Yeah you get to bother Inuyasha by being on his back all day.”

 

“ Yeah you got a point their Shippo.”

 

Inuyasha yelled,” Hey!”

 

Kagome laughed as she shut her eyes laying on his back but then whispered to herself,” Who am I…”

 

Inuyasha turned his eyes toward her then turned away continuing to walk. Shippo turned over to them from Miroku's shoulder,” Miroku do you remember yesterday's earlier argument that Inuyasha and Kagome had?”

 

He turned to the kitsune,” Yes why?”

 

“ They were saying stuff about it being a different day do you know what they meant?”

 

He put his hand under his chin then shrugged as Shippo turned to the two and sighed. Sango overheard them talking wondering the same thing. It was getting late and they were coming upon an old beaten up shrine. Inuyasha set Kagome down on her feet holding her hand,” Kagome can you scry the place?”

 

She stood up straight with Inuyasha's help and walked cautiously foreword bending down and touching the ground. Inuyasha and the others walked over looking at her as she kept her fingers on the ground but then a familiar voice called out,” What do you think you are doing here?”

 

Everyone turned but Kagome who concentrated on the task before her. Inuyasha took out his sword seeing his brother before him. He was put his sword foreword,” What do you want Sesshomaru.”

 

“ An answer. What are you doing in my lands?”

 

“ We are shard hunting what's it too you?”

 

“ You are in MY lands that is what it is too me and why is that girl doing?”

 

Kagome kept focusing leaving out the voices when she turned her head opening her eyes,” There was once a shard here Inuyasha a badger demon passed here he has stolen about two fragments of the jewel for another but he is close to here so if we meet the end of these lands he should be resting near by.”

 

Inuyasha moved his eyes to her,” Okay then Sango, Miroku can you take Kagome and Shippo with you after the demon?”

 

“ But Inuyasha you can't just stay here and fight by yourself.”

 

Sesshomaru was in silence. He turned to the girl known as Kagome then asked,” How do you know of this information.”

 

She turned to him,” It is none of your concern Sesshomaru, for you do not care of the power of the shikon no tama as you stated and no longer do you care of the tetsugia. You seem to only have a care of Inuyasha's death so this information or my power has nothing to do with you.”

 

Inuyasha looked at her,” Kagome go with Sango and the others now!”

 

Kagome turned to him then back to Sesshomaru,” No you can't just stay here each time your wounds end up big so I will stay to heal you after.”

 

Sesshomaru stood ready,” If there is an after.”

 

Inuyasha looked at her and sighed,” Fine, Sango, Miroku go! And set up camp after okay.”

 

“ Sure.”

 

So they went off as Kagome walked to Inuyasha,” The aura of this land is of spiritual power and the air is thin so your speed can reach higher limits then before of sadly the same goes for Sesshomaru so be on your guard.”

 

“ I will, thanks Kagome. Now go rest okay or at least sit down.”

 

She sighed and nodded but then Inuyasha saw the transformation again. He looked at it closely then whispered,” Lady Kagome.”

 

Sesshomaru's eyes went wide as he turned to the girl,” What are you talking about INUYASHA? Don't you dare state her name, ever again!”

 

Inuyasha was silent then turned back,” I wasn't trying to state it rudely in her name.”

 

For the first time he was speaking softly and kindly to him as if actually sorry. She could tell that the calling of that girl's name enraged Sesshomaru but she couldn't catch it. He ran at him as Inuyasha barely dodged. Kagome jumped up,” Inuyasha!”

 

Sesshomaru stopped that voice was so…familiar he could say it was just like his loves voice, the voice of the angels.

 

Inuyasha turned to her then she had a surge of some sort attack her. She fell to the ground as the form he viewed was now in visual it stood up in front of him she stayed that way. She stayed laying on the ground as Inuyasha picked her up turning her over,” Kagome, Kagome get up please.”

 

She looked different but she would always be Kagome to him. The sign remained on her forehead but her hair was longer down to her thighs if so and had hair covering her face barely. Her hair held little blue streaks in it as her lips were pink tinted. He moved the hair away then picked her up,” Kagome…”

 

He placed his head onto her heart checking for a pulse then sighed,” You're fine…but what? I mean what happened.”

 

Sesshomaru was in silence,” She looked just like her, just like his Kagome…the one who suppose ably died years ago.

 

Inuyasha grabbed his sword and looked up,” Man I hope this calling thing works.”

 

“ Alibis!”

 

A dragon seemed to come flying out at them. Inuyasha jumped up into the sky landing on it's back as they flew to the camp.

 

“ Ne, it can't be my Kagome, she parished years ago didn't she…but they found no remains and none of the blood identifying her so it could be. Hai it could be his Kagome…there was hope.”

 

His heart smiled as a grin came upon his face. He left to his castle then sniffed in the air,” It smells like her too just like her.”

 

Inuyasha looked at Kagome when her eyes opened he smiled,” Kagome?”

 

“ Inuyasha?”

 

Her eyes were different now they were…mixed with purple a bit with the brown and black yet he made her eyes glisten. She smiled at him then frowned,” I feel like my life is being drained from me.”

 

“ You're just tired from powerloss hold in there then you can rest and eat.”

 

She sighed,” I don't want to feel like this anymore it makes me feel helpless.”

 

“ You're far from helpless Kagome.”

 

“ Hn, you're just sucked up into the moment, you know I'm weak…”

 

` you're wrong,' he told himself mentally then grinned,” feh! I am getting to soft.”

 

She just smiled as they landed the dragon flew off then as Sango and Miroku ran to them. Shippo was asleep with Kilala on the ground below a tree. Kagome smiled as Sango and Miroku gasped at her apperance,” What happened?”

 

“ I'm not sure…but she's till Kagome so it shouldn't matter.”

 

They nodded,” yeah it shouldn't.”

 

He laid Kagome down on the sleeping bag she brought covering her up as her eyes shut immediately. He sighed then turned his head,” She's weakening…I hope she heals soon.”

 

“ As do I.”

 

Sango nodded.
