A/N: This is my first fic attempt EVER! This is going to be roughly around 5 chapters so please take the time to read till the end of this one.

Chapter one: Inuyasha will DIE!

There was a breeze outside that day and the air felt wonderful to Kagome. She's had been taking sword lessons from Inuyasha for months now and despite what he's been telling her she knew she was getting good. Inuyasha had told her she needed these so she could defend herself more easily when suddenly attacked by demons. So that's where she is now, standing in the clearing near the well in her training outfit. (it looks like Sango's demon slayer outfit except green)

"Come on Kagome, your stance and defenses are pathetic!"

Inuyasha insulted before attacking again.

"Well sorry if I'm not up to your level, Inuyasha" , Kagome spat out the words in between breaths. "Feh" was the hanyou's reply as their swords clashed once again.

"Kagome!" cried the cheerful voice of Shippo. Kagome gave a mental `yes!' before she dropped her sword and ran over to her little brother, almost son figure. "Kagome I'm so glad I found you It's so boring listening to Sango and Miroku talk". Kagome smiled at hearing this. "Grr….Kagome!" Inuyasha growled. Kagome turned her head from the kit and questionably said "huh?" she had said it as if she had forgotten that Inuyasha was there. Then her head clicked "oh, Inuyasha , what?". He sweat dropped and sighed `she's never going to learn if we keep getting interrupted by the brat and especially if she ignores me when he does' so he said what he thought would get her attention "Oi, wench, don't you we should continue! Put the brat down!". "My name is KAGOME ,got it, and he," she motioned to Shippo "is Shippo", she continued in a much calmer voice "I would appreciate it if you use our names from now on". With that said she walked off towards the village with Shippo on he shoulder. As they were walking he felt it was necessary to stick his tongue out at Inuyasha, his response was a simple "Feh, whatever" and slowly followed behind with the abanded weapons.

"Hetini (sp?), you pervert!" Sango screamed . "It was worth the pain" was the reply she got from the monk. Miroku stood standing with a fading bright red hand print on his left cheek `oh Sango only if you knew how much I really enjoy that, oh kimi(sp?) how I love you' he stood there with a goofy smile on his face. "Miroku…?" came the voice of Sango wandering why he had a smile on just after she slapped him. "oh, huh?" was his response as he was brought out of his reverie by her voice. `He really is just a big fool isn't he?' she said tenderly inside her head with a smile plastered on her face. "And what has the honor of bringing a smile to your face, my dear Sango?" he asked with a slightly perverted smile gracing his face. Sango flushed and stuttered out a "N-nothing". At that Miroku flashed a somewhat knowing smile. "look here comes Kagome" Sango said grateful to change the subject, secretly knowing that she enjoys the attention she gets from the monk that she believes she loves.

"Hey guys" Kagome greeted. "Hello Lady Kagome, where's Inuyasha?" Miroku questioned. Shippo decided he would answer for Kagome "that stupid jerk is still back there". "Shippo." Miroku said in a scolding tone. "Well he is" Shippo replied in a pouty voice. "Looks like Shippo's picked up on some of your language, ne Kagome?" Sango questioned playfully. Kagome blushed and answered with "Well It's better than picking up some on Inuyasha's language, don't you think?". Everyone nodded in agreement.

As if one cue Inuyasha walks up to them with the weapons in his hands "What the hell is everyone starein' at?" he barks when all their gazes fall on him and the weapons. They all go into nervous laughter. "Lets all go inside Kaede's hut, Kagome needs her rest" Shippo voices before he yawns. Kagome smiled "Thanks for thinking about me Shippo". "No," he yawns and continues "problem" and with that he hopps into the hut he's been standing infront of and the rest shortly follow. Now Kagome is the last one still standing out side, she's about to step in when she hears a voice `Kagome' her eyes go distant and glaze over. From inside they all see this and Inuyasha questions gruffly "Kagome what's the matter with you?" trying to hide the concern in his voice but failing miserably. At his voice she spins around to face him, seeming ok but he senses something different in her scent. "Oi, Kagome what's wrong" he asked still trying to hide how worried he is, `is that anger I smell, is that what's different?'. He watched as she picked up her sword from the ground where he had carelessly laid them before entering the hut. He smelt it, yes he was sure of it he smelt Naraku. "Yes, Inuyasha will DIE!" she screamed before attacking him with her sword.

A/N : yes one chap down yall tell me how yall like it so far, reviews would really help my confidence. Even if you don't like it and don't plan on waiting for a 2nd chapter flame me, its ok.
