Hey people sorry it's been so long. But here I am with another chapter. I hope you guys are enjoying it so far. I wouldn't know nobody gives me any stinking reviews. But I will get over it. Any ways I'll shut up and right the dang chapter.

Chapter 15: a place to rest

"Will you be staying here kagome?"

She hesitated.

"No I don't think I will. I look different. I would never be accepted in this civilization. Sorry mom."

"It's alright. I guess I knew the answer to that. But I'm glad your home for now. Are you hungry? Do you want to take a bath I could get the tub filled?"

Kag laughed. "Calm down mom. Yes I am hungry and I'm sure Shippo is too. And I will go take a bath then Shippo will be after me."

"Alright I'll go make lunch."

Kagome and Shippo laughed out loud as her mom walked out of the room.

"Shippo you stay here and rest while I bathe. Then I'll come get you."

"Ok momma."

Kag left the room and grabbed a towel, then went to the bathroom.

She soaked for a good hour. Thinking about everything that had happened. She had loved him so much, and she still did. No matter how much she tried she would never love another man like she loved him.

*Knock* *knock*

"Kagome lunch is done!"

She jerked out of thought.

"Ok mom, thanks."

`I need to get over him. My mom will be there when I need her and I still have Shippo. I will be fine.'

Tears spilled down her cheeks as she thought about life with out him.

They had sushi and rice along with some type of pork soup for lunch. It was really good.

"Thank you for lunch mom. Shippo you need to go get in the tub."

"Do I have to?"

"Yes you have to. Your all dirty."

He jumped out of his chair and walked to the door.

"Mommy when do I get to play with Rin again?"

Kagome looked at him, "Shippo you and I will talk about that later. Alright."

"Ok mommy."

Kagome waited till she could hear the water running upstairs then turned to her mom.

"Why does it seem like he doesn't even know Rin is dead. We talked about it earlier."

"Yes I know. Did he get knocked out first or did Rin? Maybe he doesn't think she is dead. Just knocked out like he was."

"Mom he was dead to. I couldn't feel his heartbeat when we came thru the well. The jewel glowed then he…"

"Kagome what is it?"

"The jewel. I have to get back to the feudal ages mom. I have to save Rin."

"I'll watch Shippo. You hurry."

Kag ran out the door, to the well, then jumped in. blue-purple light surrounded her then she hit solid ground.

`Hang on Rin.'

Sesshomaru sat at his desk, looking blankly at the ground.

"Lord Sesshomaru you do realize the mistake you made right?"

"What do you mean?"

"You know exactly what I mean. Don't play dumb with me Sesshomaru. You dismissed her and you were in love with her. You smiled in front of me. That has to mean something."

"I know I made a mistake."

"Then go get her!"

"I can't. It's not that easy."

"What the hell is so hard about it?"

"You don't understand!"

"I understand that you love her and she loves you. That I am sure of. Why you are being so damn stupid is what I don't understand. I am leaving now. I will be back in a couple of days."

Kagome stood at the front gates of his castle, Hesitating before going in.

`I have to.'

She jumped over the gate. Hoping that Sesshomaru could not smell her.

Kagome continued to the front door and opened it slowly. No one was in the large hall so she went in the direction of rin's smell.

10 minutes later she found the young girl. "Rin thank kami. Demons?"

Small green jaken like mini me's covered her.

Kagome easily swiped thru them. Then she held the jewel up to Rin. "Please work."

The young girl glowed bright pink, just as Shippo had done.

"Kagome?"

Rin's weak little voice flooded kagome with a tidal wave of relief.

"Rin I was so worried!"
