Any ways, I'll get on with my story ok. Here goes…

Chapter 14: leaving the castle

Sesshomaru looked at the bloody body and reached for tensaiga, hoping beyond any thing that it was only a dream, that it hadn't been stolen, that Rin still was alive.

"This is your fault." He said in a whisper, glaring thru tears.

"What?" kagome asked.

"Because you thought that damn hanyou was free from evil! Because you wanted him to stay here! God damn Kagome! I trusted you."

"Sesshomaru…"

"Get out." His voice was barely over a whisper but deadly as a viper.

"Sess…"

"GET OUT!!"

Kagome ran, her ebony locks streaming behind her. Sesshomaru watched as the one person who had loved ran, cradling the sleeping or possibly dead Shippo in her arms.

"Sesshomaru! How could you do that? She loved you it wasn't her fault."

"Rin is dead because she wanted the hanyou to stay here. I blame her."

Naraku Inuyasha and kikyo watched as Kagome ran out of sesshomaru's castle.

"Excellent Job my hanyou friend." Naraku said.

"Yes inuyasha she actually thought that the jewel was controlling you hm, what a fool." Kikyo complimented.

Inuyasha just smiled, the praise was much wanted, mostly from Naraku.

"Now in a couple of days we will be able to get the jewel and during that time, inuyasha will get his prize."

Inu's smile got bigger when he heard this.

`Finally I will get what I have always wanted from Kagome.'

Kagome was at the well and praying that when she went thru Shippo would come with her. She jumped; blue-purple light surrounded her as well as the small kit.

They landed together and kagome lifted her head.

"Thank god."

She jumped out and walked up the stairs, then toward her house. She sniffed the air and nearly fell to her knees. The human civilization had an over whelming stench.

She stood back up and breathed thru her mouth. She would have to train herself now.

Kagome continued toward the house staggering a bit.

She opened the door and called out.

"Hello! I'm home."

She went up to her room and laid Shippo down on her bed.

"Please Shippo wake up. I don't want to lose you."

The pink jewel glowed around her neck. The light traveled to Shippo making him glow brightly. His eyes fluttered open and the jewel went to normal.

"Wow."

"Momma?" it was Shippo.

"Thank god!" she threw her arms around him in a tight embrace.

"Kagome is that you?"

"She turned round, recognizing the soft voice.

"Mom!"

Kagome ran to her leaving the boy on her bed.

"Oh kagome what has happened." Her mother asked embracing her child.

"Mom it's horrible…"

The three of the stayed in kagome's room, and both Shippo and kagome told the story from start to finish. Ending in kagome getting kicked out of Sesshomaru's castle.

"He was your mate. An when you became mates… this happened?"

"Yes, and the senses are going to kill me if I can't learn to control them. I nearly collapsed when I came back."

"I see well why don't you rest, I'll bring you up some cool water."

"Thanks mom. I missed you."
