All through the show I watched Kagome sing her heart out, what made my hear sink was that first song, I knew she picked that one because of my idiot brother. After the show wad done and over, I watched her walk off stage, she looked as if she would faint any moment. For that I felt sorry for her, and I felt almost hate towards my brother.

"I have to admit, she has a lovely voice." I was shocked to hear Sessy say that about anyone, no less a human

I reached over and put my hand on his forehead, he gave me a what-the-hell-are-you-doing look

"You do not seem to have a fever, are you feeling well?" I asked teasingly

"I feel fine, am I not allowed to give someone a compliment?" he asked giving me a playful hurt look that only few of us could see

"Yes, you are allowed, I just never expected you to say something so nice about a human." I said waving off his sad attempt to make me feel bad

"I should get back to work." he said standing up

"Oh no you don't Fluffy, you are coming home with me and Kagome tonight. If you try to protest I will drag you there kicking and screaming just like when we were children, do you understand?" I asked giving him one of my famous glares that gets him to do whatever I want

"You can not order me around dear sister." he said trying to keep his cool

"You want to bet on that?" I asked lifting an eyebrow, giving him the evil eye that he hates so much

"No, that will not be necessary, I will accompany you two home, but I will be doing some work there." he said in his this-discussion-is-closed voice

"Fine, you win, well only partly." I said chuckling a bit, I always loved wining, but it was nice to have a tie for once

"Good, then let's go get your guest and leave." Sess said and began to walk to her dressing room, but I grabbed his arm before he could make it very far

"Not yet, she has some matters to take care of." I said trying to get him to stay put

"Very well, while we wait for her, I will be up in my office finishing up some work." he said then began walking towards the lift

I sat back down at the table we had occupied during the show, watching my brother descend out of sight

"Why does he work so much, there can not be that much stuff that he needs to do." I sighed, and began looking around, and I then realized something

"Where did Kouga go?" I asked myself looking all around the room, but not finding him

"He is going to die a long and painful death." I said growling

* * * * * * * * * * * Kagome's POV * * * * * * * * * * *

I walked into my dressing room, Inuyasha was sitting on the couch waiting for me. If he only knew what I was going to do he wouldn't look as happy as he did at that moment. As I walked closer he looked at me.

"How was the show?" he asked looking me in the eyes

"It was great, people seemed to have liked the songs I picked out. Kira-chan and Sesshoumaru-sama were there with Kouga." I said trying to sound like I always do so I wouldn't give anything away, it seemed to have worked

"Sesshoumaru was there? That's a shock." he said with a expression of surprise on his face

"I suppose Kira made him come, she likes doing stuff like that a little too much." I said, then walked past him to grab my bag as I started to pack all of my things I would need when I went to stay with Kira

"So are you staying here or getting a room at the hotel?" he asked a bit curious

"I'm not staying here, it's way too un-comfortable, and I don't think the hotel would be good either." I said gathering my things and my courage to break-up with him

"Kagome?" he asked, I knew by his tone that he was going to do it now

"Hai?" I asked like I always do

"I need to talk to you about something." he said casually but a bit nervous

"I need to talk to you, something very important." I said knowing he would tell me to go first as he always did

"You go first, mine can wait a bit."

"Thanks. I don't think we should see each other anymore, I don't mean not at all, just not see each other as anything more than friends." I said trying not to sound like I was about to cry, I knew I wouldn't, but still

"Your breaking up with me?" he asked as if he didn't get what I had just said, which my me smile inside

"Hai, I think it's for the best." I said lowering my head, only so I could smile without him seeing me

He just sat there looking dumbfounded, I guess he couldn't believe I would actually break it off with him. I guess he always thought he would get rid of me first, if he ever got tired of me that is, and of course I knew he would, and so did he.

"You said you needed to talk to me?" I asked innocently

"No, not anymore." he said a bit sadly, which would have made me feel bad if I haven't have seen that scene last night

A second later the door opened, and there stood Sesshoumaru

"Higurashi, we will be leaving in ten minutes, if you are not done by then we will leave without you." he said, even though we both knew Kira wouldn't let him do that

"Of course Sesshoumaru-sama, I think I am done here." I said grabbing my bag and began walking towards the door

"Sarabada, Inuyasha. " I said following Sesshoumaru out the door, leaving a confused Inuyasha sitting there

* * * * * * * * * * * Still Kagome's POV * * * * * * * * * * *

I realized after my "meeting" with Inuyasha, that I don't need him. I am perfectly happy on my own, well I'm not on my own, I have friends, I mean I don't need to be with a man to feel better. It may even be fun being single. I forgot I was walking with Sesshoumaru until I almost bumped into him, but I stopped myself, and he didn't seem to notice at all. Thank Kami for that, I don't know what I would have done, I usually don't make it a habit to bump into youkais for they seem to not like it, and I feel like keeping my head.

"Kagome-chan, ready too go?" I heard Kira ask, I guess I was so into my own thoughts that I did not notice that we were back by the stage

"Hai, Kira-chan, I am ready." I said smiling at her, Sesshoumaru had been quiet the whole time

"Why don't you take her bag Fluffy?" Kira asked smiling at him, I was afraid of what he would do next

"I do not carry bags Kira, you know this." he answered her surprisingly calmly

"That I do, that I do." she said then grabbed my bag "That's while I'll carry it, you lazy bum." she said giggling at him

Kira looked around and seemed to notice something, but I do not know what. She set my bag down

"I will be right back, you two play nice, or should I say Sess-chan play nice." she again giggled as her brother gave her a look I can't even describe

Kira ran off near the bar, I sat at a close by table, a moment later Sesshoumaru did the same. We sat there waiting for Kira, all of a sudden there was a loud scream. I looked up and saw Kira, a very soaked customer, and a horrified Kikyou standing there with an empty tray.

"Did I not tell you to be more careful, now this nice lady is soaked." I heard Kira yell at Kikyou, and a did a bit of giggling of my own

"What is funny?" Sesshoumaru asked, I guess for whatever reason he had not noticed what was going on with Kira. I simply pointed her out to him

He stood up and walked to his sister, at that same time he saw a pissed off Inuyasha making his way over to the scene too, so he stopped, at least that's the reason I thought he stopped.

"KIRA!" a very pissed off Inuyasha yelled

"What is it little one?" she asked him casually

"I told you too stay away from Kikyou." he said then folded his arms across his chest, like I've seen him do too many times

"I am aloud to walk here, am I not? I could not help that she was here, or maybe I can if that is what you would like me to do." she said not showing any sign of caring what he said

"Steer clear of her, if you see her coming get the fuck out of the way." Inuyasha growled at Kira, which she didn't care if he did or not, it was written all over her face, she found all of this very funny, I also found it funny

"Are you threatening your older and much stronger sister?" came the voice of Sesshoumaru, apparently he had enough of his brothers disrespect towards Kira, I also found this very funny

"So what if I am?" Inuyasha said then turned around, I wish I had a camera, cause the look on Inuyasha's face when he found out who was behind him was priceless

"I want to see you in my office first thing in the morning, is that understood?" Sesshoumaru said not looking to happy

"Hai, Sesshoumaru." Inuyasha said looking kinda scared, I really liked this scene

"Kira, Kagome, we are leaving now." I grabbed my bag and made my way towards Kira and her brothers, Inuyasha gave me a weird look, I brushed it off though

We made our way to Sesshoumaru's car, it was a black Mustang, it had black leather seats, I was now in love with his car. We got in and made our way to their home.

* * * * * * * * * * * Kira's POV * * * * * * * * * * *

The whole way home it was deathly quiet, I sat in front with Sessy, Kagome sat in the back by herself. I knew she liked the whole scene at the bar earlier, that's why I did it, so she would be at least a little happy. Sessy also enjoyed it a bit, because now he gets to yell at Inuyasha, that seems to be his favorite pass time. I was just happy to be going home, I was even happier because I got Sessy to come home earlier then usual. Sometimes he doesn't even come home at all, and it makes me a bit sad, he spends all of his time working, and never has any fun, he needs a girlfriend.

"Hey Sess-chan?" I asked cautiously

"Yes?" he said not even turning to look at me, but he was driving so I couldn't really expect him too

"Father is having a party tomorrow night, he wants us all to be there, and he's expecting us all to have dates." I told him knowing full well that he would rather shave his, or Inuyasha's head then go to one of fathers parties

"Another one, did they not just have one last week." he asked very annoyed

"Yes, but this one is his and her anniversary." I said, not saying the name of our fathers wife, for I knew Sessy would get pissed off at the mention of her name

"Very well, I will go, but I will not have a date." I knew that was coming

"Then father and his wife will just try and fix you up with someone at the party, either way." I said forming a plan in my head

"Yes, okay then, I will find a date." he said with obvious annoyance in his voice, he was about to explode with anger

"Why don't you just take Kagome, that way you won't have to worry about her getting to close, and father will not try and introduce you to every available woman at the party." I asked with an innocent smile

"That could work, if she would want to help me out." he said, with a hidden smile only I could see

"Kagome?" I asked looking at the girl in the back seat

"Hai?" she said looking up at me

"My father and his wife will be having a party for their anniversary, would you like to attend it with Sess-chan and help him fend off all the woman that with most-likely throw themselves at his feet?" I said with a smile at the girl, her face was also priceless

"Umm….I suppose I could, if I do not have a show that is." she said, I could tell she was a bit nervous

"No, you do not have a show that night. It's the night of that big magic act that no one really likes." I said shrugging to get my point across

"I suppose I could then." she said, which made me smile, I looked over at my brother, he was smiling a little more now

"Does Fluffy like her?" I asked myself

We pulled into the drive way of our home a few moments later, I was already forming a plan to get back at Inuyasha. I was going to do something to him everyday, everyday until the day I get him back the worst way possible. I had to hold back an evil laugh as we entered the house.

"This is gonna be fun." I thought as I showed Kagome her room
