Chapter 2: The Party

A/N:hihi! Itz kira here! Yes.. im the author… little tennyo here is my FAVOUTRITE editor..hehe *pulls tennyo into the screen* well yah.. tennyo and me here are goin to be editing most of the chapters ( yes.. I admit.. they ARE too crappy.. yah) y=well .. hope u like them!!!

Kagome starred out the car window, watching the world become a blur to her as Sango hit the gas again. “Why did you agree to go to that party Sango? We don't know anyone there, besides that Miroku person”
”Because we have nothing better to do anyway” Sango sternly replied. Kagome just groaned and shifted deeper into the car seat. “You know, your behaving like a five year old now. Act like your age Kagome! Your going to that party with me and that's it!” Sango said, irritated by Kagome's childish behavior.
”You know you act like my mum now, and she's thirty-nine … so you also better start acting like your age as well” Kagome mutters towards Sango.
”Just because you had a bad start with Miroku's friend Inu Yasha doesn't mean you should get your day ruined by it,” Sango slowed down as she entered Kagome's neighborhood, “And besides, it's a party, meaning that there will be other people as well. The chances are you don't even see Inu Yasha all night.”
Kagome looked up, suddenly realizing the fact Sango just told her.
”Yeah, your right.”
”And maybe mister right will come by and sweep you off your feet” Sango laughed as she pulled the car to a halt in front of Kagome's home.
”Yes and then we will gallop away on his beautiful unicorn” Kagome said as sarcasm was dripping down her tongue.
”Yeah … who knows” Sango giggled. Kagome gave her friend a weird look but started to laugh at her friend as she got out the car.
”After you had dinner change clothes and give me a call so I can pick you up. I'll drive us to Miroku's place!” Kagome nodded as she closed the car door behind her, “And bring some extra clothes so that you can sleep over at my place tonight!” Sango yelled after Kagome true the open car door window.
”I'll … I'll” Kagome yelled over her shoulder back at Sango and then started to walk the many steps leading her to the shrine she lived in.

Kagome stuffed her toothbrush and hair comb into the bag together with some extra clothes for the next day. Quickly looking in the mirror for her looks she grabbed the bag of the bed and started to walk out of her room to the stairs. Her mother walked out of the kitchen just to see Kagome come down the stairs.
”Don't you look just lovely,” Kagome's mother started, “You look beautiful in that red spaghetti dress”
”Thanks mom” Kagome replied as she pecked her mother on the cheek and then grabbed her black pumps.
”Be careful now and have fun on the party, tell Sango I said hi” Kagome's mother quickly said before Kagome closed the door behind her. Walking down the many steps Kagome noticed Sango's car coming down the street. Before she reached the end of the big shrine stairs the car stopped.
”Well hop in” Sango said as Kagome pulled open the car door, “Nice dress”
”Yours as well” Kagome replied getting into the car, dumping her bag on the back seat. Sango was wearing a pink spaghetti strap blouse and a black skirt beneath it.
”So you know witch way to drive right, to get to the party” Kagome said as Sango started the car.
”Well sort of” Sango carefully said.
”Sort … of?”

After twenty minutes of searching Sango finally remembered where Miroku lived again and pulled up into a parking lot. Walking towards the door Sango started to look more nervous with every step. “You okay?” Kagome asked.
”I don't know” Sango admitted.
”And here I was thinking I was looking up against this” Kagome said giving Sango a look.
”Yeah, yeah I know, hush up already” Sango told Kagome as she pushed the doorbell. A happy looking Miroku opened the door. “Hey girls, come in” he greeted as he opens the door more so they could step in. Kagome looked around, seeing nothing much but a hall, but she could hear the music in the living room. “What's keeping you Miroku?” Inu Yasha said as he walked into the hall, he looked from Miroku to Sango and finally to Kagome. Kagome just stared back. If looks could kill Inu Yasha would be ten feet under by now. “Well come on the party is inside” Miroku said as she pulled Sango by her hand into the living room. Sango quickly gave Kagome a look, her face a bit flushed by Miroku's touch. `What's up with her?' Kagome's mind wandered. Kagome gave a look to Inu Yasha and then quickly passed by him into the living room, only to find it full with people. `Nice Sango is gone …and I don't know who all these people are … just great' Kagome tried to spot anything that looked like her best friend but the place was to crowded to see anything. “Everything all right?”
Kagome spun around to the voice behind her, only to meet a pair of brown ayes. “Yes everything is just fine, thank you” she said and she tried to back up.
”You looked a bit confused there for a second” the guy sweetly smiled at her.
”Well I'm ok now” Kagome said she looked around for an excuse to leave this guy.
”My name is Hojo, what's yours?” he asked, giving her a smile.
”I'm sorry but I really have to find a friend of mine now, so if you'll excuse me” Kagome said trying to push her way to the crowd. “That's okay, catch you later” Hojo said and disappeared into the crowd. `How many people can you put in a tiny house' Kagome though as she pushed her way true people, `well I have to admit Miroku lives in a big house'. Tired of all the searching Kagome leaned against a wall. “Hey!” he she looked up at the voice only to see the guy named Hojo walk his way true the crowd towards her, Kagome groaned inwardly. Hojo just smiled at her, trying to balance his cup of punch in one hand, before he almost reached Kagome someone bumped into his back sending his punch flying towards Kagome.
”Hey watch it!” suddenly Inu Yasha popped out of no where pushing the guy named Hojo out of the way, “are you okay?” he asked the girl witch was covered in punch. As soon as she lifted her head he recognized her as Kagome.
”Thanks” she softly said, so soft that if he weren't a half demon he probably wouldn't have heard it. She passed him and started to walk outside into the garden, wringing the last bits of punch out of her hair. As she entered the garden she noticed it was less filled with people then inside the house. She shivered, the summer nights may be warm but the cool breeze made her chill in her punch covered dress. She sat down at a bench, muttering about how she wishes she wasn't here and never agreed to any of this. Suddenly remembering the extra clothes she brought with her she stood up and walked inside to the front door to go to Sango's car. As she finally made her sticky way (`cause of the punch) true the crowd she finally managed to get to the front door. Leaving the house she walked up to Sango's car, silently thanking that Sango sometimes forgot to lock her car.

“Leaving so soon?” the sudden voice behind her made her jump a little, turning around she looked straight at Inu Yasha who was a mere two meters away from her `how long has he been following me … and so quietly?'. “It's none of you business what I have planned” she harshly said and turned back to the car, hoping he would just go away. Pulling open the door to the back seat she started to rumble into her bag, searching for the clothes, finally finding her long dark purple skirt and black shirt she pulled them out of the bag before closing the door and turning around, only to meet Inu Yasha's gaze. Kagome sucked in a breath noticing that he was now only an inch away from her face, she could feel his breath going down her neck.
”What are you doing? I though I told you to leave”
”who ever said I gave a fuck about what other people tell me to do?”
Kagome felt trapped as she was now between Inu Yasha and the car.
”He Kagome, there you are!” Sango yelled walking out of the front door, “I couldn't find you, and then I remembered not locking the car again so I came here” Sango stopped dead in her tracks noticing Kagome and Inu Yasha being so close
”What's going on” Sango asked as Inu Yasha and Kagome just starred at her. Kagome saw Inu Yasha was distracted by Sango and took advantage of the moment to push Inu Yasha away and walking towards Sango.
”Nothing, that's what's going on Sango” Kagome said as she walked by Sango to the house with her dry clothes holding in a death grip.
”Riiiiiiight” Sango said as Kagome passed her, “you people keep doing “nothing” as long as you don't do it around my car” Sango said in a mocking sarcasm tone.
”Sango it's not what you think” Kagome fumed at her.
”Of course it isn't” Sango said again in a sarcasm tone. Kagome knew that Sango wouldn't believe her and just started walking towards the house, planning on finding a bathroom to change in.

Sango turned towards Inu Yasha who was still standing next to her car, looking into the direction Kagome just left to. “So what's really going on” Sango asked him, now in a serious tone. “Like she said, nothing” he replied coldly. “Why was she soaked?” Sango asked sternly, “I hope this wasn't by your `causes”
Inu Yasha just passed her, ignoring her last words. Sango just stared at him as he walked inside again, just before he stepped inside completely he looked at Sango dryly. “You may want to lock your car” and with that he disappeared inside completely. Sango suddenly remembered that that was the reason she was here, she locked her car and walked inside planning on finding Kagome and ask her what was going on for real.
Before she could walk any further into the crowd she suddenly felt a pair of arms wrapping around her waist, before she could turn around and slap who ever it was she heard Miroku's voice, “enjoying the party?”
”Yeah, but I really need to find Kagome now if you don't mind” Sango laid her hands on Miroku's arms, to give the hint to let her go. He just ignored it and laid his head on her shoulder. “He Sango how `bout you and me go out once. Just the two of us.” Sango could feel her skin burning up, “look I REALLY need to find my friend now!” she said peeling his arms away. This time Miroku took the hint and let her go, standing behind her.
”You mean Kagome? I send her upstairs to my room so she could change out of those wet clothes. Sango started to walk towards the stairs as Miroku pulled her back by her arm, “How about the offer I gave you?” he asked, his eyes becoming as big as puppy eyes. “Yeah sure, that would be nice” Sango said, Miroku just gave her a smile, before getting slapped in the face. “YOU TOUCHED MY BEHIND,” Sango started to scream and people started to watch, “AGAIN” she yelled. Miroku just grinned as she stomped off.

From the corner of the room Inu Yasha saw Sango walk around in search of Kagome probably. Inu Yasha was looking for her as well, but he knew that he wouldn't be able to find her here anytime soon. He watched as Miroku wrapped his arms around Sango's waist as they chatted. Suddenly he heard Kagome's name drop and something about changing upstairs. Well that was enough information for him, he made his was towards the stairs. Planning on finding Kagome. As he reached the top of the stairs, he could smell Kagome's sent coming from Miroku's room. He wasn't able to smell her downstairs `cause of all the people in the room as well. Without bothering to nock he walked into the room, only to find Kagome standing I her underwear. Kagome screamed and quickly grabbed something to cover herself with.
”Like that's going to help” Inu Yasha said. Kagome questioned herself what he mend before she noticed she was covering herself with a picture frame. Seeing no use in it she put it back at the little table. “Get out! Can't you see people are changing here!” she said.
”I've seen you in your bikini today, and I think that even shows more then your underwear” Inu Yasha replied ad she dodged the pillow that was suddenly flung at his head. “All right, I'll turn around” he said as he turned his back towards her, still eying her in a little mirror on the wall. “Can't you just leave the room” Kagome spat at him, as she quickly pulled up the purple skirt. “No” he replied as he watched her dress in the little mirror. “I wanted to talk to you”.
”Oh no you don't” Kagome said as she pulled the shirt over her head, “you called me names when you first met me and now you want to talk? I don't think so. Go bother some girl who are interested in you but leave me alone”
Inu Yasha turned around as he saw she finished dressing in the mirror. He eyed her, now having a better view then in the little mirror. Without saying a word he walked up to her and roughly started to kiss her. Kagome was surprised by his action and felt her legs go weak. Inu Yasha didn't care and simply fell on the ground with her, hovering on top of her he resumed kissing her, before Kagome even realized what was happening exactly the door went open and Sango stepped in.
”WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?!” she yelled, totally confused!
