Kagome smacked the ball with so much force it stuck in the fence directly behind Sango.

“Kagome are you sure you haven't played before?”

“Yea I'm sure.”

“At this rate you'll make the club hands down!” Sango smacked another ball Kagome's way and she hit it back with the same force. Sesshomaru walked up to the fence that separated the tennis field from the school, Bankotsu stood beside him. Sango stopped. Kagome turned around.

“Kagome, can I speak with you for a moment?” she walked over to him.

“What happened?”

“I need you to meet me in the locker area once you're done.” He turned and walked away. Sango stood behind her.

“Kagome that…that was Sesshomaru Tashio, the hottest demon in school.”

“Yea and…he wasn't that hot when he was younger.”

“What do you mean?”

“I've known Sesshomaru since we were kids.”

“Wow.”

“Well I better go, let me know if we made the club entries.” Sango nodded and watched her run off.

 

Tuesday 10:29 a.m. (Majori High locker room)

 

 

Kagome sat on the small bench in the locker rooms and looked out the huge sliding window that doubled as doors. She sighed.

`I wonder what I did this time.' She sensed a strong demonic aura coming from behind her.

“Is that you Sesshomaru?”

“How were you able to sense me?”

“Not too sure I just closed my eyes and I felt something weird. Kinda like your attitude flowing off you.” She giggled.

“Kagome I have had a very interesting conversation with Kerieu.”

“Ok,”

“I have become obligated to protect some one close to me. And I need your opinion on something.”

“Sure ok, who are you protecting?”

“That is only for me to know.”

“Ok what do you need to know?”

“How does one protect?” she was shocked.

`He doesn't know how to protect? I guess a person can change in five years.'

“Kagome?”

“Um for one thing always keep an eye on that person but not so much that you turn into a stalker, always have that persons back and make sure you have a growing relationship, this is very important if you're involved in a relationship, lastly but not least show that person you are devoted to them and there has to be some type of love, even if it's just friendship you have to care about that person, and finally you are willing to say and put you're life on the line.”

He nodded.

“I see thank you for you opinion Kagome it shall come to good use.” He left.

 

Tuesday (Majori High) 3:00p.m.

 

 

Kagome waited for Sango out side the school. She pulled up in her car.

“Kagome!”

“Hey!” Sesshomaru watched from a far at the girl that laughed and jumped in the car with her snickering friend and they pull of.

“So Sango when did you get this car?”

“I've had it for a while; I needed a new engine my dad was eager to find the right dealer for the job.”

“Oh.”

“You mind if we hang out for a while?”

“Sure.”

“Great! Let's go pick up Miroku and the others.”

“Sango is there a thing going on with the two of you?”

Her friend blushed.

“No not a thing.” they arrived at the karaoke/sushi bar around five.

“Ok every one lets do our best and have fun!” Sango yelled. Kouga threw his hands over kagome's shoulder.

“Kagome, I would be honored if you sang with me.” She eased his hand from around her shoulder.

“That's nice but I rather sing by myself.”

“Aw come on!” Kikyo smirked.

“Fine I'll do it!” they all cheered.
