Chapter 2: A Mom Who's never there

"Kagome got to the front door of her house." Well mom's car isn't here so I guess once again she's at work. "Kagome walked into the huge house. Everything was so neat; everything was in its place." Kiyoko! What? When is mom coming home? How should I know. She could at least call us to let us know were she's at but she doesn't even do that. Ok, Kiyoko I get the point. Fine, some guy left a message on the answer machine for you. "With that Kiyoko went back to her room" Wow, I wander who left a message for me? (Message one: Hey you stupid wench, Sango and Miroku want to go have dinner to night. So be ready at 6:00 I'll pick you up.) God what makes him think he can order me around like that. I still have to ask my mom. Wait she's never here so why would she care if I go out any were on a school night. "Kagome walked into her room." Man I have nothing to wear! Wait I do have those blue jeans I bought a while back. Yeah, and I have that t-shirt mom gave me for my last birthday. Well that she mailed to me because she was a way for a meeting. "Kagome examined herself in the mirror" Yup, that a do it. "Kagome walked to her sister's room and knocked on the door. Kiyoko answer the door" Kiyoko, I'm going out to night with my friends. Whatever, just be careful ok. "Before Kagome new the door was shut" When did she start caring about me? (Knock, knock) Hurry up you stupid wench! "Kagome opened the door to see a very hot Inuyasha staring at her."

God you can wait. Well Sango and Miroku are already waiting on us. Well it's not my fault I wasn't the one running late. Just shut up and get in the car! Fine! "The drive there was quite. Probably because Kagome was still trying to figure out what made her sister say that. Its not like she didn't like it but her sister never really cared about her. {Flash back, God you never tell me anything! What's there to tell? "Kagome just stared at her sister." That's what I thought there's nothing to tell. I don't know anything about you. "Tears flowed down Kagome's cheek" Ever since the adoption! "Kiyoko just stared at Kagome and walked away"} God I still remember that day. The day we got into a fight. But I know nothing about her. Why won't she tell me? Kagome…… Kagome! Hello we're here! What….oh sorry Inuyasha.

"Inuyasha had been trying to figure out why Kagome was so quite. But then decided not to ask." God it makes me mad when I see that she's upset. "Inuyasha still had his own problem to figure out. It had been in the back of his mind lately. How much he had missed kagome over their vacation. How all he wanted to do was to hold her. But he new he would never admit it to himself that all he wanted to do was to be around her. As he watched her from the corner of his eye. He new she was upset about something." I'll be damned if I let her mop around to night. When we're suppose to be having fun. "With that in mind Inuyasha hit the gas."

"Back at home. (Ring, ring) Kiyoko picked up the phone." Hello? Kiyoko honey, how have you been? Fine mom, what about you? I've been fine dear. Well tell your sister I won't be home until three weeks. Mom, you're going to miss my birthday too. I'm sorry honey but your mother has to work. Mom, it's sad enough that you missed Kagome's birthday. Well honey I got to go. Bye I love you and tell your sister I love her too. "With that said she hung up" Great Kagome isn't going to be happy about this. I really don't care if she's not here for my birthday. I didn't have a birthday for nine years. Why should I care now? "Kiyoko hung up the phone and walked back to her room. Were she spent most of her time."
