Chapter Three: A Waiter named Hojo

"Name please?" said the waitress at the door. "Oh we're here with another couple." Inuyahsa said in a hurry trying to get past the waitress. "Man Miroku is going to kill me for being late." Inuyasha knew for a fact that Miroku hated waiting on him. They found Miroku and Sango sitting down at a booth in the corner of the restaurant. "Sorry we are late but Kagome couldn't find anything to wear." Kagome was about to sit down when she heard Inuyasha. She was about to say something then decided not to. "Yeah, sorry I didn't know what to wear" Kagome said eyeing Inuyasha." Good Afternoon." A voice said form the side of the table. "I'm your waiter. My name is Hojo." Kagome took one look and she was pretty amazed by how cute he was. "What would you like to drink?" Inuyasha eyed kagome as she smiled at him. "I would like a coke please." She said with a cute smile. Hojo had his eye on her ever since the couple arrived. He figured that they were going out then realized they weren't when she told the girl sitting across form the table that some guy named Koga asked her out to a movie. "Ok I'll be back with your drinks." Inuyasha eyed the waiter as he left. This whole time he had been trying not to growl. He was mad when she smiled at him and even madder when he smiled back. Hojo had brought them their drinks and took their order of what they wanted to eat. "So Miroku what made you want to go out to night?" Kagome asked with curiosity. "Well we haven't seen you guys all summer and we wanted to hang out." Inuyasha looked at Miroku. "Wow they really did miss me over the summer but what about Kagome. Did she miss me?" Inuyasha had been wondering about that all day at school. Did Kagome really miss him and when did he start caring? He couldn't figure out why he cared so much. "Inuyasha do you think you could get up please?" Kagome said with a cute little smile. "What for wench?" Kagome eyed him and said. "Because I have to go to the bathroom!" Inuyasha grabbed his ears in pain. One thing she could do was yell. Inuyasha got up and moved out of the way to let her go by. She glared at him while getting up from the table. Kagome was making her way back to the table when she heard. "Excuse me. " She turned around to see Hojo standing

behind her. "I really don't do this but do you think I can have your number?" Kagome was surprised that he asked and was more then happy to give it to him.

Inuyasha's ears picked up as soon as he heard Hojo ask. "Yeah, sure here you go you can call me any time." Kagome smiled at Hojo making him blush. Inuyasha got up from the table. "I'm leaving!" With that said he walked off.

Kagome smiled at Hojo causing her self to blush too. She walked back to the table with a smile on her face. "Where is Inuyasha?" Kagome ask really worried.

"I don't know Kagome. He just got up and left he was mad about something."

Kagome looked around to see if she saw him but didn't. "Why is he mad?" She thought to her self. Then it hit her that he was a half demon. He could hear far away. "He must have heard Hojo ask me for my number but why should he care." Kagome stood in front of the table trying to figure it out. "He's not my boy friend."

"Shit!" Inuyasha speed down the street in his car. "Damn it, why should I care about her giving her number away!" Inuyasha was frustrated. He couldn't figure why she's been on his mine and now he just walked out on his friends. Without even telling them why he left in the first place. "Damn I didn't even pay for my meal." Inuyasha said running the stop sign. He wasn't about to go home that was the last place he would go. He turned into a dirt road and sped off.

Kagome sat at the table quite. "Kagome I'm sure Inuyasha isn't mad at you. He probably forgot to do something." Sango said looking at her friend who happened to be deep in thought. "Yeah, you're probably right Sango." Kagome looked down at the food that was on the table. She hadn't even taken a bit. Inuyasha's sat on the table too. "Kagome don't worry I'll pay for yours and Inuyasha." Kagome looked at Miroku and smiled. "Thanks Miroku you're a true friend." With that she got up and left.

Inuyasha skid the car to a stop. He walked out and mad his was though the forest. He came upon a lake with beautiful trees and grass. He sat down looking at his reflection in the water. "I remember when I found this place. I was running away form home and didn't want to go back." He looked up at the starts and a tear fell form his face. "Kagome I'm sorry……."

A/U: Well guys that was the third chapter. I hope you liked it. The fourth will be up soon so look out for it. The fourth Chapter is called "Why are you mad?" Look for it. It will be a lot of drama. I guess that's it. Sayonara, Mesko
