Sesshomaru:

So Kagome is a half demon like my little brother. "I see you two are mates. Well that's no surprise." "What do you want?" my brother asks tiredly. Why I think they just had sex, yes they did I can smell it now. "I'd like to speak to Kagome alone." "Hell no, no fucking way am I letting you get close to her." Gods he's going to make this difficult. "I'll ask you nicely then, please Kagome will you talk to me?" She looks a little hesitant but, "Ok, but any funny stuff I'll defend myself." "Fine deal, Inuyasha baby-sit for me will you." He stares at me in shock, "When in hell did you get a kid?" "Rin you can come out now." The little girl about five who saved me and I saved her as well runs out with flowers in her hands, "Here papa I picked these for you." I accept them and point to my brother, "He will protect you while I'm gone. I will be right back. Don't leave him." I walk away with Kagome behind me. I hear Rin ask Inuyasha, "Are those doggy ears? Can I touch them? How do you know my new papa? Want to play? Your eyes are pretty, they look like papas. Want to play?" I chuckle as Inuyasha stares at her dumbfounded. I guess I shocked him enough. I stop after I can't hear Rin anymore and turn to Kagome. "Did it hurt?" "What?" "When you turned into a half demon," I tell her. "No but I was exhausted for a week before I actually changed. Why do you want to know?" I stare at the direction we came from. "I want to change Rin into a demon." "WHAT?" "I want to change Rin because she has already died and now her body is rebelling against her. She has some disease I don't know how to heal, it's fatal and I can't heal that." She is staring at me with her eyes soft. "I think what your going to do is sweet. I guess I'll let you turn her." LET ME, I could kill her instantly and she mocks me. I start to turn back to where I left Rin and she follows.

Inuyasha:

She's HUMAN. I thought my brother hated humans and yet he is protecting and caring for this little girl. How in hell did this happen. She chatters nonstop and I losing my patience. "Want to play uncle Inu?" Curses, why did I admit that Sesshomaru is my brother. "Sure kid." "Put your hands like this," She holds her hands out straight her palms facing me. She teaches me something called Patty Cake. I play along and then I hear two laughs. I look around and see Kagome and Sesshomaru laughing. "WHAT? She wanted to play and I had to stop her chattering." "Sure I believe you," Kagome says with a giggle. I growl and get up. Rin grabs my robe, "Thanks uncle Inu for playing with me." They both start laughing again. I growl lowly so only they can hear me. "Lets head back Kagome, I'm tired and It'll be dark soon." Sesshomaru clears his throat, "Can we stay with you? I can't fly fast or I'll hurt Rin and I need to talk to that old woman." "I guess." All of us start to walk back. I listen to Rin who is in Sesshomaru's arms telling 'aunt Gome' how she met her new papa. It's a heartbreaking tale but she survived. I'm really curious about what Sesshomaru talked to Kagome about.

Kagome:

Ah she is such a sweet kid. Having to go through all that at such a young age. She calls me aunt Gome how cute. We walk in the hut and everyone stands up ready to fight when we tell them to calm down. Keade stares at Sesshomaru and Rin very interested. I listen to Inuyasha what has happened with Sesshomaru and everything. Everyone seems pretty satisfied. "Uncle Inu played patty cake with me," Rin announces. Everyone chuckles a bit as Inuyasha blushes. "Papa can I play with that fox?" "My name is Shippo and I'm a fox demon." "Sorry, papa can I please play with Shippo?" Sesshomaru thinks for a little bit, "No, it getting to dark but tomorrow you can ok you need to play with someone your own age. Shippo watch her tomorrow, she likes to sneak off." "Ok I guess I'll play with her tomorrow."

Shippo:

"I'll catch you," I shout to her. I run as slowly as possible to give her a chance. I then sneak and touch her lightly, "Your it!" She twirls around and starts to chase me. We play this game awhile then we play hide and seek too. She's pretty fun. I smell someone and tense up. I know that smell, its evil. All of a sudden Kikyo is in front of us. "Hello little girl, you want to help me?" "You look like aunt Gome. Are you her sister?" "NO, Rin get away from her. Now." I run toward her but am struck down by Kikyo. "Now little girl why don't you help me and give me your soul." "Papa says I can't talk to strangers. You hurt Shippo, I don't want you to have my soul. PAPA PAPA, HELP." I jump and grab her quickly I try to make it to the hut but Kikyo shoots an arrow into my heart. I fall but tuck to protect Rin. "Run Rin, hurry." I try to pull out the arrow but it's no use. I can feel my body dying. I hear Rin scream and I jump up ignoring my fatal wound. Naraku! He has Rin in his clutches and Kikyo is next to him ready to steal her soul. Rin bites Naraku and tries to kick loose but his grip is strong. "My what a feisty girl her soul will keep me alive for a while," Kikyo says. "Why Kikyo are you with him? Don't you know it was him who AHHHH." I try to tell her the truth but Naraku slams his fist through my stomach. "SHIPPO!!" She starts to cry and hit Naraku pointlessly. "Now little girl give me your soul." "Over my dead body Kikyo." Sesshomaru! He leans over me and sees my wounds, "I'm sorry, I cannot heal these and you will die soon. My brother is going to kill you two if I can't." He starts to battle with Naraku. He fights well and manages to grab Rin. He picks me up and flies as fast as possible with Rin. He goes fast and hides Rin behind him from the wind. "I'm sorry I tried to protect her." "I know its ok." We get to the hut and I feel myself dying, it hurts so much.

Kagome:

Why did Sesshomaru leave like that. I hear them coming back. Rin is crying and Shippo is speaking too low for me to hear. Sesshomaru comes in carrying both of them. He hands Shippo to Inuyasha who looks shaken. I run to him and look at Shippo. OH GODS NO!! Shippo is barely breathing, he has an arrow in his chest where his heart is and a hole in the stomach. He speaks but it's like a wisp of wind and everyone is quiet, "I tried to get her back from her, she shot me. I told her to run but he got her. I tried to get her back, got punched in the stomach. I was brave this time, I tried to be always but I think I was this time. Sorry Inuyasha, I guess I can't live with you two. I love you all. I hurt so bad." "Damn it kid don't die! You were brave, I'm proud of you," Inuyasha cries out. "Please Shippo don't die. We love you too," I say. I feel tears going down my cheeks. He smiles and then stops breathing. I howl and start crying. Inuyasha sets Shippo down and Comes over to me and hugs me. "We were supposed to be his new parents. I loved him. Who did this to him. He was just a child." I babble into Inuyasha's shirt. I hear Mirouku, Sango everyone crying. I feel Inuyasha's few tears fall in my hair. "Who the hell did this to him Sesshomaru?" Inuyasha is yelling. Rin starts to cry harder, "The bad lady and furry guy. We were only playing." Sesshomaru holds her close and tries to comfort her. "Inuyasha calm down a little you're scaring Rin. It was Kikyo and Naraku. I couldn't win but I got them back but I was too late for Shippo." I stare at the arrow in Shippo, "Please will someone remove that so we can bury him." Sesshomaru tries but can't, "It has a spell on it, I think only you can Kagome." I shakily get up and slowly remove the arrow. I hug his body lightly. "Goodbye," I whisper.

Inuyasha:

We buried the little fox demon. "We have to move out of here," I say after a couple days. "We have to hide and come up with a strategy. I learned that much. Naraku is too crafty for just barging in." "You are actually thinking with your head and not your heart." Keade speaks. "I am thinking with both, I will not loose anymore to them." Kagome starts to cry lightly again, she is lying down by the wall. I walk over quickly and lay next to her. I wrap my arms around her waist and nuzzle my nose to her neck. "Shh, Kagome we'll get them back." "I'm tired of all this fighting, I can't handle it if I loose you or anyone." "You won't loose anyone. We'll fight and win." She turns and nestles her body against mine, "But what if we don't." "We will." I hear some new enter the hut and I turn to see who it is. "Count me in for the fight. I want him as bad as you guys do. What he has done to my family and yours is unforgivable." I smile when I see who it is. "Thanks for coming," I tell him.
