I dont own Inuyasha or any of the characters from the anime, only Nisha, i made her up. ^__^ ok? so dont sue me, got it?!

Settling back against the couch, Kagome relaxed as she watched her brother Souta and his friend, Nisha play around the living room. Nisha was 1 year younger than Souta, but Kagome had always thought that he had a crush on her.

'He had always been like that' Kagome laughed. 'Just like Inuyasha, to scared to admit his feelings, then when he does he gets all protective'

Sitting up she walked down the hallway and opened up her bedroom door.
"Better get back to Inuyasha, we still have to get to that cave" Groaning Kagome picked up the red and black bag that she had just got. Her yellow bag had been stained with blood from the last attack of a fox demon. Inuyasha had suggested that she kept it to scare off any demons, but Kagome needed to use it for school. Thats why she was here really, they began to argue about a backpack when Kagome ended it with the usual words: Sit boy!

Sighing she walked out of her room into the living room. Walking past the training Nisha and Souta, she went into the kitchen to say her farwells to mom. Souta kept whining about how Inuyasha always got to use a sword and he didnt, and soon Nisha started talking about the same thing, exept she wanted a bow and arrows. Seeing how dangerous a sword and arrows could be, she bought a wood training sword from the Training School and got a bow from Grandma Keada. The arrows she simply made from wood, but replaced the tip with a suction cup. Walking onto the kitchen tile, Kagomes mom was humming a random tune while chopping carrots for the stew.

"Morning mom, im sorry i have to go so early but Inuyasha is having trouble with finding his way somewhere" Kagome really didnt want to leave but she had already gotten this far with the hunt for the Shikon Jewel shards that she felt it was her duty. Besides, Kagome liked having Inuyasha and the others around, mainly just Inuyasha.
"Its alright dear, i understand, just remember to bring your first aid kit and stay safe. Dont want to have to call in absent to school saying that 'Kagome has a slash on her arm, she needs to stay home' Now do we?"
Laughing shes answered with a quick "No mom, i wont get hurt. Bye!" Waving goodbye to her mom, Kagome ran outside to the shrine and opened the door. Putting both straps of the backpack on her shoulders, she leaped down the well into a blue light of nothingness.

Sesshomaru had spent hours last night trying to find a place for Rin and him to sleep. After a long search, he had found a old house by the river. The waiting was painfully boring. Since last night, Sesshomaru was waiting the effects of the mating to happen. Rin was suppossed to have grown longer hair, have fangs and claws, and have a change in eye color. But the only diffrence was her scent. Instead of smelling like fresh fruit, now she smelled like fresh fruit that a dog had taken a bite out of. Even if it did smell like that, Sesshomaru was proud that he had marked Rin, after all, that was the woman his demon side had chosen.

Rin sat quietly in the library waiting for the 'sudden change of appearance'. Sighing she closed the book she held but hadnt even started to read. She was to caught up in thought to read. Questions still remained that Sesshomaru had refused to answer, even if it was about whos going to cook.
'Probally thinks i will, just cause im a girl! Hmp! I'll show him how a girl kicks ass if he tries any of that!' Grinning wickedly as she thought of how she would 'abuse' her own mate.
The door opened and a frowning Sesshomaru walked in. His eyes didnt seem sad, more angry. But it wasnt a scary angry, more calm and tamed.
"Is something amiss Rin?" Taken aback at how right he was, Rin took a few seconds before she answered.
"You said that we wouldnt keep secrets, yet you still keep many from me. I can tell Sesshomaru, no use in trying to deny it." Smiling as she stood up and walked over to one of the many bookshelves. Putting the book back in, she turned around just in time to see the emotion run across his face. Guilt. Plain Guilt.

He hadnt once considered that he was being a bad mate. Mates were suppose to keep no secrets, tell no lies, like how his parents were. Sesshomaru had always looked up to his father and, even though he disliked the thought of his mother being a human, he even looked up his mother. The way when his mom had always made clothes that were so beatiful one would think they were imagining it. Sesshomaru's dad was like a never ending wave of power, always coming back for more and never giving up. But he never once saw them being bad mates.

Sighing Rin walked over and sat back down. 'Great what do i do now, he feels guilty! Arg just when i thought nothing else could go wrong!' So far today, she spilled water all over Sesshomaru, almost killed herself by falling down the stairs, got death glares from all of the woman who wanted him for thier own mate, and now he feels guity. 'If anyone should feel guilty its me, im the one who spilled water over his new shirt!' Laughing at that thought, Rin walked over and gave Sesshomaru a peck on the cheek and hugged him.


Since last night she hadnt hugged him, kissed him, anything. Sesshomaru thought that maybe she lost her love for him. His body relaxing, it felt as if she was meant for him. Rins body went stiff and tense as Sesshomaru sensed her aura. 'Shes..why should she be nervous? Am i doing something?' Flying backwards Sesshomaru winced in pain as he hit the wall. Looking up he saw Rin glowing red. "Shes tranforming?!" Sesshomaru covered his ears to keep them from being hurt by the loud pitched scream that sounded like a growl. "Dammit i have to do something!!"


Rin felt like she was about to faint. Growling yet screaming every time a new slash appeared. She felt a surge of power. 'Is this--' Stopping her thoughts as blood streamed from the new wound from her stomach to her hip, she growled this time, less of a scream. 'im changing?!?' Noticing how her hair had turned a dark shade of red with silver streaks. Wincing as a loud soundwave hit her ears, she felt them flatten against her---head? Not the side of her head?? More cuts appeared but less pain happend, in fact it barely felt like a scratch. Lifting her hand up to examine it, she noticed how the nails turned a pearl white and had become longer, pointier, and definatly looked like they could scratch through brick.

Looking over to Sesshomaru, he looked alittle terrified. "Ehm..are you ok?" Chuckling he got up and walked over to her. Reaching his hand up towards her head, he started scratching something. Almost purring Rin felt started feeling joy and happiness surge inside her. Looking up, trying to see what he was scratching he chuckled even louder. Opening her mouth to speak but clamping it shut, her eyes widened as she felt blood spill in her mouth. Her tounge was bleeding, 'Dammit i have fangs to! Great, now i have to worry about biting my tounge!!"

"Sesshomaru i advise you to stop lauging like that or you'll get your first beating from a woman. Or should i say necklace from a woman. A killing necklace. Heh." Giving her a puzzling look, he looked at Rin in the eye. "Dont think i cant get Kaede to make me one of those necklaces Inuyasha has. I might even start saying Feh if you annoy me to much."

Pouting she gave him a smile, giving him a good look at her new blood stained fangs. Sighing, Rin walked over to the small table and picked up a mirror from one of the many containers. "Lets see what this 'demon version' of me looks like." Looking at her reflection, she liked what she saw. She was almost about a inch taller, had blood red hair that looked almost black with silver white streaks. Propped on the top of her head were black dog ears that much like Inuyasha except they were black with a white tip and had two red stripes on the left of each ear. In the middle of her forehead was a black cresent moon. Overlapping the bottom of the moon was a red X. Glancing to see if she had marks on the side of her face, suprisingly she didnt. Rin instead had one black X mark on each of her cheeks. Looking behind her she saw Sesshomaus eyes flash red as she smelled a demon near by.

"I smell fox demon Sesshomaru, a pack of them. Sesshomaru calm down, from all the fighting ive seen you do i think i can protect myself. Calm down."
Running over to him at demon speed, Rin gave him a quick kiss and hugged him. "Calm down Sesshomaru." Eyes going gold again, he hugged her back and walked onto the balcony connected. "Come here Rin" Already knowing there was going to be a fight, she said for him to wait a second. Running to her bedroom and getting her two daggers she ran back. As far as she knew, the more you trained with the daggers, the more powerful a demons came around.

"Can you fly like me Rin?" Rin looked at him like he was crazy. He sighed. "Just jump off the balcony, you wont fall." Walking towards the edge she gulped and leaped over the rail. Rin started screaming as she felt Sesshomaru came to her. "Are you trying to tell those foxes were we are or do you just like screaming?" Opening her eyes Rin saw that she wasnt falling. "Oh, ehm..sorry." Sighing he jumped through the air towards the forest and Rin followed.

Ok people i finally got the 2nd chapter up, and i know that i started the chapter with Kagome jumping thru the well and everything, but that was for a reason, even though the rest of the chapter was with Rin n Sesshomaru. Im trying to figure out what i want to do with this and what the fox demons will do n all so gimme suggestions please. I wont update until i get atleast 2 more reviews. Thnx!
