CHAPTER 1: I HATE MOVING…OR DO I?

 

 

 

“Oh…my…GOD!!!” screamed a girl standing in her kitchen fuming.

 

“Kagome please calm down. It's not that bad really.” Said her mother Keiko Higurashi.

 

“CALM DOWN???!!! MOM!!! YOU'RE MAKING US MOVE TO SOMEPLACE ELSE AND MAKE ME LEAVE MY FRIENDS AND EVERYTHING! WHY SHOULD I CALM DOWN!” Kagome screamed pacing back and forth.

 

Keiko sighed. “Kagome I don't want to yell but I certainly will if you do not calm down NOW!” Kagome pouted but followed her mothers' orders.

 

“Now Kagome you and I both know that we're moving because of this neighbor hood. It's just not safe for you and Souta here any more. Point blank period.” Kagome sighed and realized that she was right. Everywhere you go there is some kind of dangerous thing happening. Like one time Souta was walking to his friends house and some one on the Corner Street asked him if he wanted to join a gang and get all kinds of different drugs. Kagome was even almost raped one time.

Kagome shuddered at that memory. If it wasn't for the police that scan her neighbor hood every once and a while she would have been impure. Keiko had ordered Kagome and Souta up to their rooms to start packing. They would be leaving tomorrow just to look at the new house they were living in. They would actually move about three weeks later. Kagome was not looking forward to it.

The next morning came all too fast for Kagome. They had to had to get up around 7:30 to get ready so that by 8:15 or so they would be ready to see the house.

Kagome got out of bed and went straight to the shower for a good 25-30 minuets. She went to her room and pulled out what she wanted to wear today. It was Warm today so she decided to wear a denim mini skirt, a pink south pole tube top, and pink glittery sandals that laced up right below her knee. She put on shiny clear lip-gloss and brushed her raven black hair that reached mid back until it was shiny and decided to leave it down. By the time she was ready everyone else was to.

 

“Okay are we all ready to go?” Kagome's grampa said. They all nodded and they were out the door.

Kagome sighed in the car. She tends to do that a lot now and days. The new house was at least 15 minuets away from her old house. When they got there she had to admit-along with everyone else- that the house was beautiful. It was the most gorgeous house she's seen in her life! She was now eager to look through the rest of the house inside.

 

It was truly amazing! She loved her room that had white walls and a personal bathroom, with a walk-in closet. She thought this was the master bedroom!!! She looked around at the room once more. `I am gonna have to pain my walls for sure. Hmmm? Maybe pink? OOOO! I know! Pink and gold! Hot pink and sparkly gold!' Kagome became happy immediately! She then decide to check out the neighbor hood.

 

When she walked around she immediately found out that there was a forest not to far from her new house. She also noticed a red motorcycle zoom past her and saw it stopped at a house a little ways from her. She was curious so she walked over there slowly trying not to seem nosy. She gasped when the driver of the motorcycle took his helmet off. He was gorgeous! He had long flowing silver hair that went down his back and striking gold eyes. What had caught her attention the most was two fuzzy ears perched on top of his head. She bit her lip and continued to stare at him. Little did she know that he noticed her.

He turned around and met her eyes and smirked. She realized that she had been caught and she blushed and looked away.

 

“Hey!” he shouted.

 

“I don't think I've ever seen you here? What are you visiting family or something?” he asked walking up to her. She started blushing more when he was walking towards her. When he got up to her she took the chance to check him out. He had on baggy denim jeans and a gray muscle shirt. She just had to stare at those well-defined muscles he had! Inuyasha saw that she was checking him out again and smirked.

 

“See something you want?” he asked. She blinked back to reality and blushed again but an even darker shade of pink. Inuyasha couldn't help but think `man she looks cute when she blushes!'

 

“Well any ways you didn't answer my question.” She looked at him confused for a moment before remembering.

 

“Oh…um…no I'm about to move into the house just down there.” She replied and then turned to point to her new house. Inuyasha followed to where she was pointing to and smiled.

 

“Great. It should be fun having a hot girl living close to me.” He said and watched as she blushed again.

 

“So then this is your house?” Kagome said pointing to the house they were standing near. Inuyasha shook his head.

 

“Na I live a little further. This is where one of my friends live and we're meeting up here.” He answered.

 

“Hey you want to come in? I could introduce you.” He asked. She stared at him in disbelief.

 

“Um…I don't think I should…” he cut off her words and said

 

“No its not a problem come on.” Then he pulled her to the house.

 

“By the way my names Inuyasha.” She looked up at him and smiled.

 

“I'm Kagome.” Inuyasha smirked and said

 

“Cute name for a sexy girl.” He laughed when he saw that she blushed yet again! This was definitely gonna be fun! While they waited there in front of the door Inuyasha started asking questions.

 

“You goin to Shikon high?” he asked. She nodded and then the door swung open to reveal an angry looking female. She had long brown hair and chestnut colored eyes. She was wearing jeans and a blue tank top.

 

“Whoa Sango what the hell is wrong with you?” Inuyasha asked.

 

“THAT DAMN HOUSHI THAT'S WHAT!” she screamed. She noticed a girl behind him and calmed down a little.

 

“Hey who's that?” she asked. Inuyasha was confused but then remembered Kagome.

 

“Oh, this is Kagome. She's moving into a house a couple houses away. She was outside and I was talking to her so I invited her to our little hang out today.” He replied. Sangos face brightened.

 

“Oh cool! Come on in we're just waiting for Miroku to wake up.” She said and stepped aside to let them in.

 

“Why is Miroku sleeping?” Inuyasha asked looking at his friend on the floor. Sango started laughing shyly.

 

“Um…he's not really sleeping…um…I just knocked him out by accident…hehe” Inuyasha shook his head. He looked over at Kagome that looked confused.

 

“You see Miroku here likes to grope other women, Sango being his favorite, and when he does do that she tends to hit him but I guess she hit him too hard.” Inuyasha told Kagome. Kagome started giggling and at that moment Inuyasha fell in love with her laugh. It was a giggle but it was cute and he wanted to hear her laugh just knowing he would love it. `damn. There's something about this girl that just draws me to her. What is it?' He was snapped out of his thoughts by a moaning Miroku. When he woke up he saw what he always wanted to see. Two beautiful women leaning over him. He reached up and grabbed the woman that he didn't recognize chest. She screamed and the next thing you know he has a handprint on his cheek and I bump on his head.

 

“Miroku you pervert what was that about!” shouted Inuyasha as he blocked Kagome from him and started growling. Miroku sat up and rubbed his head.

 

“What?” he looked around and spotted the girl he had seen.

 

“Who are you?” he asked. Inuyasha introduced him to her and explained what he did to her.

“Oh I'm so very sorry Kagome I didn't mean to, I just thought I was dreaming…” Kagome made a face of discuss and Inuyasha and Sango laughed.

 

“Well now that that's over lets head out to the mall I wanna know about you Kagome!” Sango said as she hooked arms with her and they immediately started talking. Sango just knew they would become fast friends.
