CHAPTER TWO: CAN'T WAIT TILL SCHOOL!

“So you live with your mom, brother, and your fat cat?” Sango asked her. They were at the mall for 2 hours now and had a lot bags that they made the boys carry.

“Yup. That's right. My dad he…umm…” Kagome looked down and Sango quickly changed the subject. Inuyasha could sense the sadness coming off of her.

“Umm so what's you favorite color?” Sango asked.

“Umm definitely green. But I love how pink and gold look together. That's actually what I'm gonna paint my room when we move.” Kagome answered smiling at Sango.

“OMG! Can I come over and help! I love painting!” Sango said. Kagome started laughing and she nodded. Sango screamed and jumped up and down happily. Kagome laughed as she watched Sango jump around like a kid in a candy store. Inuyasha and Miroku were smiling looking at the girls.

“Hey would you mind us coming over to help you move too?” Miroku asked.

“Umm I don't want you guys to have to help me it's okay really.” Kagome said. Miroku shook his head.

“Oh no Miss Kagome we won't mind really it would give us something to do wouldn't it Inuyasha.” Miroku said then looking at Inuyasha for his answer. Kagome and Sango also looked at him waiting for him to answer.

“Keh. Whatever I don't care.” Inuyasha answered crossing his arms over his chest. Kagome smiled and gave them all hugs in thanks. When she gave Inuyasha his hug he was blushing.

“Hey guys my mom said I have to be home by 5 cuz I have to go out again. So ill see you around. BYE!” she said as she took her bags from Miroku. She gave Kagome one last hug and started to leave. Miroku also followed her.

“Hey Houshi where do you think your going?” Inuyasha asked.

“Well I took Sango and Kagome here in my car so I guess I'm gonna take Sango back. Besides I think you two should get to know each other more.” Miroku said and then winked at them. Inuyasha and Kagome both blushed. They watched as Miroku walked away towards Sango.

“So…what do you wanna do now?” Inuyasha asked nervously.

“Umm I don't know how bout we go somewhere else?” Kagome suggested. Inuyasha nodded and thought of something.

“Hey do you wanna go to like a café or something?” He asked.

“Sure. Sounds like fun!” she said and smiled. Kagome did buy some things at the mall but not too much. She had about three small bags. Inuyasha thought that they would fit in his motorcycle trunk seeing as that's the only thing they had at the moment. As the walked out side Kagome asked.

“Where did you park?” Inuyasha pointed to a parking spot next to a black Mercedes truck. Kagome didn't notice the motorcycle and thought that they were driving in the truck. That is until the walked right past it to Inuyasha's red motorcycle. Kagome watched as Inuyasha packed her bags in his small trunk. (A/N: The trunk is where you just flip up the back of the seat. I don't know if that really is there but I don't care I like it better this way! Lol.)

Inuyasha got on and looked back at Kagome who was just standing there looking at him.

“Hey are you gonna get on?” He asked snapping her out of her daydream. She nodded and got on slowly wrapping her small arms around his waist. He blushed a little but leaned down some so he could ride off to the café. When they got to the café Inuyasha got them a booth table for them to sit at. It was silent for a while before Inuyasha said,

“This is my favorite café.” Kagome looked from the window to him and nodded.

“I've heard that this place had really good food.” She said.

“When are you gonna start school?”

“I think November 3rd. Yea November 3rd.”

“So you have…13 days from now.”

“Yup!” she said then smiled. The waitress came by and gave them their menus. Inuyasha knew exactly what he wanted so he gave back the menu and waited for Kagome to order. When they both finished ordering they started talking again.

“So you excited?” Inuyasha asked.

“Yeah I guess now I am.”

“So before you weren't excited?”

“Well no. I didn't want to leave my friends but now that I've met you…I mean you guys I kinda can't wait.” She said. Inuyasha laughed and there orders came. They laughed and talked for a while then they went for a walk at the park.

“So you live with your brother, mother, and Father?” she asked him.

“Yup. My father owns the Takahashi Company and my mom is a nurse.”

“Wow you must be rich!” she said Inuyasha laughed a bit.

“Yea I guess you could say that.” Then they saw a playground and Kagome ran towards the swings. Inuyasha shook his head and went to her. He watched as she pushed herself gently.

“Let's see your favorite color is red right?” she asked. Inuyasha nodded.

“And you work at a mechanics shop.” Inuyasha nodded again.

“Your birthday is March 12th?” Inuyasha yet again nodded.

“And you're a half-demon with kawaii ears!” She said and then reached over and rubbed his ears. Inuyasha froze. He never let anyone but his mom touch his ears but the way she rubbed them ever so gently just made him want to stay like this forever. He leaned into her touch and closed his eyes. Kagome smiled knowing that he was enjoying this. Their moment was ruined when Kagome's cell phone rang. She stopped rubbing his ears to pick up it up and Inuyasha whimpered in his loss. Kagome laughed before picking it up.

“Hello?…oh hey mom…yea I'm fine I'm at the park with my friend…yea okay sure…bye.” Kagome hung up the phone and looked at Inuyasha.

“I have to go my mom said that they were about to leave.” Inuyasha nodded and took her hand as they walked to the motorcycle. When he drove her back to her house she thanked him and got off. He decided to walk her up to her door so he followed her.

“”Thanks for this, it was really awesome.” Kagome said

“Yea I had fun.” Inuyasha replied.

“Yea. Can't wait to move here and hang out some more.”

“Can't wait either. You think you could come by here sometime before you move so we could do this again?”

“Um yea I'm sure I could do that.”

“Cool.' Inuyasha looked into her eyes and leaned down and pecked her on her lips. He smirked and turned around and left on his motorcycle. Kagome just stood there shocked. She then smiled and put her hands on her lips. She then went into her house with thoughts about a certain hanyou.
