CHAPTER 3: BRING ON THE FLIRT!

 

Kagome sat in her new room in her new house and thought about the weeks that she's had with her new friends. After going to the store to buy some paint Sango and Kagome had an argument about what to paint her room. Kagome instantly said that she had to have pink. Sango could deal with that but she wanted a different color than gold. Sango suggested silver but Kagome couldn't picture it. After a lot of convincing Sango got Kagome to agree with her. Now that Kagome looks at her room she realizes that it was a good match and that it looked really pretty.

 

She kept her promise to Inuyasha and came over when she knew that school would be out back to her new house until she moved there. They hung out with Miroku and Sango all the time and Sango and her became best friends. They all had each other's cell numbers and house numbers. Kagome told them that she would give them her number when she moved. They even had nicknames thanks to Kagome.

 

Kagome smiled at that memory.

 

FLASHBACK (at the mall)

 

“I so think that you should get that one!” Sango told Kagome pointing to a black beanbag chair. Kagome looked at it but didn't seem to like it. They were shopping for other things for Kagome's room that she wanted.

 

“I don't know Sango I kinda like the pink one over there.” She said and pointed to a pink beanbag chair that had `princess' written in black on one of its side, and had a black crown with silver studs decorating it. Sango looked at it and smiled.

 

“That one is perfect! I love it!” she said Kagome smiled and went over to get it. Then Inuyasha fell out of no where right on top of the beanbag chair. He pulled Kagome down on him and started tickling her sides which he found out were her weak spots. She busted out laughing.

 

“Stop!…Oh…my…god!…YASH STOP…” she said in between laughs. He stopped when he heard what she called him.

 

“What did you call me?” he asked. Kagome was confused and thought back to what she said to him.

 

“OH! I called you Yash I like that nickname I think it's cute!” She smiled at him.

 

“Whatever. You have to have a nickname too then!” he said.

 

“Okay what is it?”

 

“Babes.” He replied smirking.

 

“NO!” she said back to him blushing a bit.

 

“Okay how bout sexy?” He said his smirk widening.

 

“NO!” she said again blushing deeper.

 

“Kay. Then Kags.” She thought about it then nodded and smiled.

 

“Miroku and Sango need nicknames too.” Inuyasha thought about it and said,

 

“You think then up.” Kagome thought then said,

 

“Miroku will be Roku and Sango will be…KITTY!” She said laughing. Inuyasha looked at her weirdly.

 

“Why would you name her that?” He asked.

 

“She loves kitties a lot so that's her nickname for me. You guys can call her San.” Inuyasha just laughed and stood up with Kagome to let her get her beanbag chair. When she was done she told Miroku and Sango about their nicknames and Sango laughed when she heard her nickname.

 

“Don't worry Sango I'm planning on calling Inuyasha puppy sometimes too.” Kagome said laughing with Sango. Inuyasha just growled as they all went to Kagome's house to start moving her in.

END FLASHBACK!

 

Kagome heard her cell phone ring and looked at the caller I.D. and smiled.

Inuyasha.

 

“Hey Yash.” She answered.

 

“Hey Kags. What cha doin?” he asked.

 

“Nothing much. You?”

 

“Same. Hey we're about to go to a restaurant wanna come down and be my date?” He asked laughing a little.

 

“Wha-? Um…I uh…” Kagome heard laughing on the other line.

 

“Na I'm kidin Kags we're just gonna go to the café I took you to awhile ago. Remember?” Inuyasha asked. Kagome immediately remembered the first day she met Inuyasha and how he took her to his favorite café. She would certainly never forget that day.

 

“Yeah. I remember. So when are we going?” She answered. There was a pause and then she heard,

 

“In about 2 hours I'll come pick you up kay? He said. She nodded but then felt very stupid because she knew that he could not see her.

 

“Yeah. Okay I'll be ready.” They both said their good-byes and hung up. Kagome then went to go take a shower.

Kagome had to hurry and choose what she was going to wear because she took too long in the shower. She decided to wear fitted jeans and a baby blue short shirt that showed off her silver belly button ring that had a martini cup on it and was studded. (Yes I got it from goggle so here is the site thingy http://piercingmap.com/product_belly-button-ring-with-dangl ing-martini-glass-p25734.html) She wore white and blue high top converse along with her outfit. Kagome never wore a lot of make up so she put on some shiny clear lip-gloss. She heard the doorbell ring and finished brushing her hair into a high ponytail and rushed down stairs to see Inuyasha sitting there. Inuyasha's jaw dropped when he saw Kagome.

Kagome checked out Inuyasha to and saw that he was wearing dark baggy jeans a blue shirt that said Sean John on the front, and black and blue Nikes on. Kagome could just drool.

 

“Now Kagome you go have fun okay. And don't be out too late alright?” Keiko said to Kagome. She snapped put of her trance and nodded, as Inuyasha led her outside to his motorcycle…. Wait what?

 

“Hey where are Miroku and Sango?” Kagome asked him. Inuyasha smirked and said,

 

“Miroku? Sango? Hmm I must have forgot to ask them to come to this little hang out.” He said slyly. Kagome playfully punched his arm.

 

“You know you could have asked me to come and not have to make up that story moron.” She said laughing.

 

“Yeah I know but where's the fun in that?” He said laughing along with her. He walked over to his motorcycle and got on waiting for Kagome to get on. He heard her sigh.

 

“You know no matter how many times I'm gonna have to ride this I'm never going to get used to it.” She said as she sat behind Inuyasha and wrapped her arms around him. Inuyasha just smirked and they were off to the café.

Now it was time for Kagome's first day of school and she couldn't be more excited. She was even happier that she didn't have to wear any school uniforms. She decided to wear light fitted jeans, a white long sleeved shirt that had a halo on it and silver flats. She wore her hair in a half ponytail with some strands out. She got her stuff ready and was on her way downstairs when she heard her mom shout,

 

“KAGOME! THERE'S A REALLY CUTE BOY HERE WHO SAYS HE'S TAKING YOU TO SCHOOL!” Kagome was confused so she went downstairs in a rush and found Inuyasha siting there on her couch.

 

“What are you doing here?” She asked. Inuyasha had a fake pained expression on his face.

 

“What so I can't take you to your first day of school? That hurts babe.” He said as Kagome rolled her eyes at him. Then when they were outside she realized what he had called her.

 

“Whoa wait. What did you call me back there?” She asked curious if he heard right.

 

“Huh? Oh I called you babe. Like I said the first day we met, your pretty cute.” He said and winked at her. Kagome blushed and followed him only to see he had his motorcycle.

 

“Don't you drive anything else?” She complained.

 

“Of course. But yesterday you said you would never get used to it so I suggested to take you to school on it so eventually you would get used to it. We're even going shopping today to get you a helmet.” He said smirking. Kagome couldn't believe it. She shook her head and got on the motorcycle and they drove to school.

 

When they got there everyone was staring at her, she guessed that it was because she was new. But everyone was staring at her because she came to school with Inuyasha, the most popular guy in school along with Miroku. Inuyasha has been untouched by a girl after he went out with Kikyo. Sure he flirted with a lot of girls but none of them even came close to going out with him. Kagome spotted Sango near a bench talking to someone and she walked over to her.

 

“Oh hey Kagome! How are you today on your first day of school?” Sango asked politely.

 

“Oh I'm fine. How bout you?”

 

“Just great. Oh, this Kienna she's one of my friends.” Sango pointed to the girl next to her that she was talking to.

 

“Hi!” Kienna said.

 

“Hi Kienna!” Kagome smiled.

 

“Oh, all my friends call me Ki, so just call me Ki.” She smiled back. Kagome nodded glad that she already thought of her as a friend.

 

“Yeah and we call Kagome kags. So you can just call her kags.” Sango laughed. Kagome rolled her eyes and said,

 

“Yeah and I'm calling Sango kitty, or san.” Kagome said back. Kienna started laughing.

 

“I like kitty! Sango that is your official nickname!” She said laughing like crazy. Then the bell rang and Sango and Kienna volunteered to take Kagome to the front office to get her schedule.

 

“YAY! We have all the same classes Kagome!” Sango said.

 

“Awesome!” Kagome was glad that she knew at least one person in he classes. Kienna had 3 classes with them.

 

“Hey Kagome are you going to do any sports?” Kienna asked as they walked to homeroom. Kagome thought and said,

 

“Yeah I wanted to do volley ball and cheerleading.” Kienna and Sango smiled brightly.

 

“THAT'S WHAT WE'RE IN! SOOO COOL!” Sango said excitedly.

 

“Well except that I'm also in tennis.” Kienna said. Kagome started at her in awe.

 

“So you do 3 sports? Are you in any clubs?” She asked her. Kienna shook her head.

 

“Nope. Like you said I do 3 sports that's a lot already.” She said laughing. The day went by and Kagome learned that she had all but 1 class with Inuyasha. She also learned that he is the biggest flirt besides Miroku on earth! All day he kept calling her babe, commenting her on her outfit, and putting his arm around her waist. She also learned that there was a singing contest coming up. The winner gets to take 5 friends to Hawaii for 2 weeks! Now they're going to Sango's house to hang out for awhile. Kagome rode with Inuyasha and were there before Sango and Miroku because Inuyasha drove insanely fast, probably to scare the shit outta her…and it worked.

 

“Why did you drive so fast you idiotic moron!!!” Kagome screamed. Inuyasha was smirking and he shrugged. Then before Kagome could blow up again Sango and Miroku arrived at the house and they went inside.

 

“Kagome I heard you sing before when we were in Claire's! You just have to do the contest!” Sango protested.

 

“Yeah well we heard Kienna sing at study hall today and she has a gorgeous voice!” Kagome said. Kienna laughed and said,

 

“Okay how bout we do this, we be a band for a day and win the contest.” She suggested.

 

“Where are we getting a band?” Miroku asked.

 

“Dummy! Us! Miroku, you and Sango can play the guitar better then anything. And Inuyasha you can play the drums as good as any superstar drummer. Kagome and me can be the singers. How bout that?” Kienna said. Everyone was looking at her until Kagome said,

 

“I think that's an AWESOME idea!” Everyone else agreed.

 

“So what song are we doing?” Inuyasha asked. Everyone was thinking until Kienna said,

 

“OOOOO! I KNOW!!! LETS DO MISSERY BUSINESS BY PARAMORE!!” Kagome smiled and jumped up with her.

 

“OMG Ki that's brilliant! I love that song!!” They were jumping up and down and everyone else was smiling thinking that it was a good idea. They all couldn't wait for the contest.
