'Thank god! Only half an hour more on this damned plane!' Manny thought as she popped in her "Songs from Instant Star 2" CD and began to let the lyrics from the song "Liar Liar” wash over her.

You played me like a radio,

You used to love that I had no shame,

Put my pain into words,

Hold my hand to the flame

At this point Manny was so into the music she didn't notice the lyrics slip by and remembered e-mailing the lyrics to her pen-pal Kagome before she and Alexz finalized them.

 

~*Flashback*~

Manny was about to explode from excitement, she was expecting the reply to the e-mail she sent to Kagome. As she waited a new song popped into her head and she almost missed the computerized voice saying "You've got mail," coming from her computer. She checked, and sure enough it was from Kagome.

The message read:

FROM: PinkMikoGurl87

Subject: RE: New Song

 

OMG! I love it! Don't let them change a word of it! How are you? Guess what! Mama says you can visit for a while if you want! I know it'll cost a lot to go from Ontario to Tokyo but it'd be awesome if you could come! Gotta go "Inu-Grouch" is calling for me.

'Holy crap! I can go to Japan! I must be dreaming. Okay Manny get a grip. Pinch yourself and see if it's real,' Manny thought as she pinched herself, "Owww! That hurt! Wait that hurt! It's not a dream! Yes! I'm goin' to Japan! Gotta ask Kagome when to come."

End Flashback

"Can't wait to get off and meet Kagome,' thought the only person sitting in first class.
