If you just sat down and analyzed the facts, you wouldn't go off and have a heart attack. The facts being, all my fics are Inu.Kag Plus, if you don't enjoy reading this fanfiction, please for the sake of the authoress and the other readers, stop reading this instant! It's as simple as that. If you don't read it, you have nothing to flip out about. Am I right?

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NOTE TO THE READERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:
Sorry, but your guesses are all wrong!
1. That IS Inuyasha with Kikyou
2. It has absolutely nothing to do with Kikyou stealing the shard
3. Kikyou didn't make a fake Inuyasha and she didn't cast a spell.
4. Nope. No illusions in involved
I bet I have you all wondering now.
Question: Would you like me to dedicate some of the next chapter to shout-outs? Either e-mail me or tell me in your review. Thanks! ^.^
That all said and done, Chapter Four will now commence!

Previously on Mai Aikou Taishite Maro:
Sprinting back to the well, Kagome checked to see if Inuyasha was there before disappearing into the forest. Stumbling over tangled, prickly brush, Kagome winced as some sharp thorns pierced her flesh. Looks like I'll never be a leg model. She thought wryly as she continued to comb her way through the forest. I hope that Inuyasha didn't go too far. And I pray that a demon
doesn't sneak up on me and. Before she noticed it, she had managed to discover a clearing and in it were Inuyasha and Kikyou. Inuyasha was completely shirtless and Kikyou was rubbing his well toned chest, while he let out small growls of pleasure and appreciation.
N-No it-it can't b-be!
As much as Kagome tried to hide from the truth, she couldn't accept the facts.
And they were?
Inuyasha and Kikyou were having sex.

(This chapter will begin after Inuyasha got sat for insulting Kagome before she went home)
"Stupid girl," Inuyasha hissed through gritted teeth. Damn this hurts. Of course, it was nothing compared to the oozing cuts, bruises, scrapes, and gnashes he had received in battle, but that fact didn't lessen the pain. That retarded rock that obviously had it out for him had gouged him pretty deeply. The irritated hanyou chanced a glare at the retched thing before letting out another growl.
"What is she trying to do, kill me?" Inuyasha pressed his hand firmly to his wound to lessen the blood flow as he got to his feet. At this point he didn't care that his hands were stained red or that he would have to ask Kagome politely if she would wash and sew his
clothes back up.
One day she might just end his life with those painful sits of hers. Whether it was intentional or not.
Suddenly a glimmering blue ribbon of light streamed across the sky, catching Inuyasha's attention. He knew what it was. How could he not, after seeing it so many times?
Only one word came from his mouth: Kikyou.
He would have to beg her to spare Kagome's life. If Kikyou was willing pull a stunt like killing Kagome to come back to life, then it wasn't worth it. He couldn't bear to put the girl's life in jeopardy, no matter how much he told himself that he didn't care a wit about her.
Inuyasha couldn't take that risk.
Sighing and silently praying that Kagome wouldn't stumble upon their accidental rendezvous, Inuyasha quickly followed the Soul Collectors to a small, tight clearing. Kikyou was there, waiting for him, as usual. But instead of reminding Inuyasha of her latest plan to earn another shot at his heart, she said placidly, "You're hurt. Who did this to you?"
"Um…Kagome."
"Wench. Did her jealousy really drive her this far?"
"Jealousy? What?"
Kikyou glided silently over to him and caressed his cheek. That simple action reminded him why he was even in his current predicament. Just hours earlier, Kagome had stroked his cheek, with genuine concern lurking in her eyes, and he pushed her away with harsh words. With the way things were going, he would have to give Kagome up and he would never be able to prove that he was better than Yoshiro.
"Can't you tell that Kagome is jealous of me?"
"She's…jealous." He let out a humorless laugh. "Yeah right." And why would she hurt me if she was jealous of Kikyou?
"Inuyasha. Are you truly that dense? Kagome has had eyes for you for years now." The hanyou gave a rude snort.
"Kagome told me that she is in love with Yoshiro, a boy from her time. She said that he always breaks her heart and cheats on her with a girl named Kiki, but she still loves him. She's too good for him." Inuyasha mumbled nonsense under his breath.
Kikyou's hand suddenly clenched in Inuyasha's haori.
"You idiot. You are Yoshiro."
"W-What?!"
"Kagome obviously thinks you're cheating on her when we meet, Inuyasha. And Kiki must be short for Kikyou." Inuyasha's cheeks flushed.
"No way." Kikyou nodded. "But that would mean Kagome lied to me." And that would mean that I was the one that made her suffer.
"Something that the little wench is well capable of," Kikyou muttered. "But enough of that. You're dripping blood everywhere. I will help that wound heal."
"T-Thanks." Inuyasha should have suspected a trap, but he was too awestruck by the fact that Kikyou actually wanted to help him, not hurt him. Kikyou brushed him off and stooped down to collected some herbs.
"I can't believe you still stay with that girl, even after all she has put you through," the dead miko murmured as she plucked some petals off of a peculiar looking flower.
"But she can sense the shards."
"And you're in love with her."
"What!?" the hanyou roared, a fierce blush spreading across his face. "I don't love her, Kikyou, I love you and you know that."
"I don't believe you," she said coldly, an icy hint of venom lurking in her monotonous voice. Her thin eyebrows narrowed and a look of anger crossed her pale, expressionless face. "Don't feed me falsettos, Inuyasha!" The half demon glared at her with equal ferocity.
"I think I would know if I was in love with the wench, Kikyou. I'm not that dense." If she wasn't so dry she would have laughed, but instead she continued to stare at him with her dull brown eyes. When he looked into them, among the usual emotions of anger, hatred, pain, and suffering, he picked up the expression of longing. Did Kikyou really desire him that much?
He did promise to go to hell with her after all, and he wasn't one to go back on his promises. Then there was the fact that she wanted to come back to life...Man this is confusing. Neither my head or my heart can take much more of this.
"Take off your shirt." Inuyasha flushed.
"What?"
"I have to put these herbs on your injury," Kikyou said, showing him the odd collection of plants in her palm.
"Can't I do it myself?" Earning another cold look, he shyly shrugged off his robes, a hiss escaping his mouth as his wound began to burn as it was struck with the cool air.
"It's worse than I thought." As soon as Kikyou pressed the plants against his skin, instead of the pain he was expecting, a warm, soothing sensation slowly spread across his body, racing to the tips of his ears and down to his feet. It was heaven…he gently melted into her touch and the action reminded him of when Kagome occasionally rubbed his ears.
Why he was thinking of Kagome when she injured him was a mystery to him, but he was to preoccupied with the diminishing pain to give it much thought.
Too preoccupied to acknowledge Kikyou's sinister smirk.
And he was definitely to preoccupied to notice Kagome, who stared at him with utter disbelief and pain dancing deep within her dark brown depths before she let out a stifled gasp as she turned and ran away.

Am I off your hit list now?
