Kagome stared in horror as the sticky red liquid dripping over the edge of the table an on to her usually clean floor. The copper smell offended her nostrils. She stared at the semi clear liquid pooling at the feet of her intruder. See looked up at the sound of music drifting from somewhere in the shadows of the apartment. She noticed for the first time that he was speaking to her.

The man smiled as he pulled his hand from behind his back. Kagome flinched thinking he was going to strike her. When she focused her eyes on him again, she noticed he was holding something dripping the same liquid that stained her table and floor upon closer inspection she notice that it was the necklace InuYasha had worn since she meet him. The man took a step forward and began to speak, "Kagome I think it's time you gave up on that lowly hanyou and came to me. There is nothing I, Hojo, can not give you. Besides it's not he'll be back to giving you his undivided attention anymore." He finished on a evil laugh.

Kagome jerked awake. She was panting heavily and heavy sheen of sweat coated her body. She failed to notice the females figure that lurked outside her window as she hit the speed dial for InuYasha's cell on her bed side phone. She calmed slightly as the phone begin to ring, but couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong.
