"What? Don't tell me that your scared of riding this piece of metal!" He grinned even louder when he heard her gasp a bit. "I'M GOING TO RIDE THIS THINGY?!" She almost roared loudly enough to make him go deaf.

He covered his ears then chuckled. "Did you expect me to make you walk all the way? Common you can hold on geeze!" He placed a helmet on to her head, making her bangs go low so her eyes were now covered.

He chuckled loudly and soon began to laugh. She tried to shot a glare at him, but couldn't tell where he was. She sighed. "Ugh..This is going to be a long long night…" She sighed once more before trying to get on. Then she tripped.

"OWW!" She fell right onto the ground, and was rubbing her ass with full pain. He quickly sat up and shifted towards her. "Are you alright Kag?!" He lifted up her helmet a bit to see if she was crying or not, and was shocked to find her actually smiling and soon she began to burst out laughing.

"HAHA! We're you really that worried?! I fall almost every single day without breaking a sweat!" She giggled but stopped when he put a hand on top of her head.

"Feh! Of course I was worried! Wouldn't you be?! Now quit fooling around. We can't stay out all night long…Common!" He helped her lift up from the ground and tucked her into his bike. "Hang on or else you'll fall!" She gasped then held his sides with a deathly strong grip, making sure that she would never fall down. He grinned boyishly before taking off in full speed.

She was right indeed. This was going to be a long night, but of course a fun one…

CHAPTER 9; Is this a date? (part two)

Kagome was trying hard to not let herself fall asleep on this stranger- well, she couldn't say exactly a stranger, but a part of it. She yawned for about 100th time and was now extremely tired. She couldn't take it she was about to fall sideways when she felt a hand roaming around her waists and then pulled her close to him. She Eeeped then slaped his head.

"Quit touching me please! You're starting to really freak me out!!" She yelled louldly, making sure that he could hear her since the engine of the THING that she was riding on was making a lot of noise. She then noticed that she wasn't sleepy anymore…

`I guess the cure is to always argue with him huh?' She sighed. She wanted to sleep on her bed with her comforting pillow and of course, her warm blanket. Then the image of Kouga hit her. She quickly looked down at her watch. `Oh no!!! 11:38!!! Kouga must be really worried! Oh right…I made a promise with this guy that I would stay with him for tonight….I'm such a baka!'

Inuyasha heard her sigh once more then he sighed too, but in much of a annoyed tone. `Why the fuck is she sighing so much?! Gosh… She've changed a lot… is it even possible for me to change this girl back into Kagome?'

Then he remembered her cold, bitter words.

*QUICK FLASHBACK*

Quit touching me please! You're starting to really freak me out!!" She yelled louldly, making sure that he could hear her since the engine of the THING that she was riding on was making a lot of noise.

*END OF QUICK FLASHBACK*

He growled. `Why?! Why is she so afraid of me?! Am I really that much of a stranger to her???!!' He fought himself hard not to loose control of his temper and focused on his driving.

"Kagome, do you think of me as a stranger?" he asked, trying to find the calmness that is suppose to fit in with his gruffy tone. He continued to focus on the road, waiting for her answer but none came.

She was just shocked a bit that he asked her such a question. `Didn't he say he knew me? Wait…Did I say something that could've hurt his feelings?' She tried to remember her words from before then it hit her. `Oh no…I yelled at him for touching me. Ugh…I'm such a baka- wait! Why should I worry?! It's not my problem anyways…Right?'

She shook her head then replied. "N-no… Why would I think that you're a stranger to- to me?" Her words were not told properly, but in a shaky tone. He couldn't take it. He turned the motocycle then came to a near clear area with no cars around. He stopped.

He turned to look down at her but her head was locked somewhere else. `Kouga!' Kagome's mind was screaming. "k-kouga…!" She gasped the words out.

Inuyasha's ears snapped at that name. He sneered then curse under his breath. "Ugh…Stupid moron wolf! That's it! We're outta here!" He was about to drive them both out from that place when he realized that Kagome was already getting off his vehicle.

"No! Hey kagome!! You get back here right now!" He yelled. Kagome didn't look back at him. He quickly jumped infront of her and yanked her hands. She shot him a death glare.

"Will you let my hand go?! And quit yanking my arms or hands or anything!! IT hurts damnit!!" He moved back a bit. He've never seen those glares from her at the past…Of course, she's not the KAGOME he use to remember…He had to change her.

He sneered than grinned. Kagome didn't like those grins… It did start to freak her out starting from the beginning. She looked at him in a disgusted way. "What are you grinning about?" She asked casually.

He smiled. "Oh well…I thought you made a promise with me saying that we were going to be together just for-" Before he could even finish his sentence, he noticed that kagome was no longer in his arms. `DAMN!' he cursed.

He looked around and found her, running after Kouga, who was just about to get on to a bus.

Without taking much of a chance, kagome screamed out his name. "Kouga!!!" she yelled. He couldn't hear her. She tried to yell again but when she took her deep breath, a clawed hand covered her mouth making her gasp.

"Shhh! He'll see me! And he'll probably think I'm going to kidnap you so just shut up kagome!" He quickly let her mouth go since he didn't want her to bite his hands again. Boy that was painful…

She was about to say something back at him, but when she saw the bus leaving, her mouth dropped open. She ran towards it, following and running after the bus. "NO!! Wait! Stop the bus!! HEY! Stop the bus!!! Kouga! Kouga!!" Her legs were tired of running. She slowed down a bit then the bus took off, leaving her alone with Inuyasha.

She didn't bother turning around to see if he was there. She could feel his hard stare right behind her back. She gulped loudly before turning around slowly and she was shocked to see that he wasn't there anymore.

For a moment she thanked the gods or whoever was out there in the huge, blessing sky. She giggled then turned around her heels and screamed. "AHH!" She was face-to-face with Inuyasha. He didn't look any happy at all. He had a slight frown across the top of his golden eyes. Then she heard something…Growling?

"What were you thinking?! Taking off after a bus!! And the whole reason being, just to go after KOUGA?!!" He grabbed her hands and yanked them once more, this time never attempting to let it go. She screeched a bit as she felt blood stop right on her arms.

"STOP IT! Let me go!! Just leave me alone!" He sneered then growled. He braced her into a hug and she stopped dead with her actions. "What are you doing?! You perv! Let me go now or I'll scream!" He sighed. Then began, "Look kagome, I just want things to go well tonight alright? Let's try to forget about who we are and have some fun hm?"

She stared at him with a confused and yet disgusted look across her face. "What? Oh yeah…That promise. But look Inuyasha-kun I-" He sighed then budded in. "Inuyasha. Not Inuyasha-KUN Got that? I'm the same age as you, you know…Just because of my hair, doesn't mean that I'm as same as your grandfather…"

She giggled then realized that he was now smiling down at her. She imidiately stopped laughing then began. "Eh-hem..Well, I never thought of you as my grandfather…Well! As I was saying, I know that I made the promise with you Inu- Inuyasha, but I really think I should be going home…Kouga might be worried about me…Who knows what he could be doing right now?"

She sounded scared and terrified. He could almost smell her nervousness once more. He then remembered her words. `SHE LIVES WITH KOUGA?! What are they?! Engaged?!?!??!?!'

He shot a death glare at her. "Are you and Kouga engaged?! Why are you two living together huh?! Answer me!!" She looked at him with fear in her eyes. She began to sniff.

"Kouga is my savior you dumb ass!!!! And it's none of your business, and NO! I am NOT engaged with Kouga! His my friend! How can I marry him if I don't even love him as um.. as a guy and a girl thing?!"

She breathed in and out, feeling exhausted. She lifted her both hands up as in `I give up!' pose. He grinned. `So, she doesn't like that Kouga guy? Boy why was I so worried then…Wait! I'm not worried I am not!'

"You didn't love- I mean like kouga?? But I thought you did." She sighed. "Look, you don't have to know anything between me and Kouga, but um… since you said I was your friend, I'll tell you one thing. I never thought Kouga as a boy and girl thing…Whatever it's called…"

She looked shamefully at the ground. He noticed her expressions then quickly letted go of her hand and put his arms around her shoulders. She was shocked. "What do you think you're doing now?!"

He looked down at her with innocent expressions then smiled. "Well, we are friends you know and since you don't really like this Kouga guy… I guess I could fill in for him." He grinned. She looked at him as if he was crazy then slapped his head lightly. "Hey! Are you feeling okay? Or did I turn you into a cyco…???"

He stopped with his grinning and laughing and truned serious with the girl. "Do I sound crazy with you..??" She nodded. He sighed depressly then turned to the girl.

He grinned once more, but this time in a more friendlier way. She looked at him with a confused look, one of her brows slightly risen up. He brought her closer to him then began. "Well, since you took me as a stranger, I guess we'll have to introduce ourselves again in a much better way."

He pulled out his hand out and she looked down at it. "Eh-hem…My name is Inuyasha. And I wish to be your friend." He pulled out his hands towards her even more and when she still didn't bother to shake it. He put it right infront of her face.

She giggled then sighed. She smiled as she took his hands and shook it lightly. "My name is Kagome and yes, I accept you as my friend." He smiled.

Then braced her into a hug. She looked bewilderment. "What-" Before she could finish, he began as he budded in. "Hey, did I mention that friends are also allowed to hug too?" He smiled, which didn't go noticed by Kagome.

She smiled then accepted the hug. She then pushed her self out from his brace and smiled. "Where do we go first?"

*AMUSEMENT PARK*

"The amusement park??" She asked trying to find the right tone for it. He saw her expressions then smiled. "Yup. An amusement park…" He then remembered their last time together as they rode the ferris-wheel and took pictures at the picture house.

She noticed his saddened expressions and suddenly took his hands in hers. She linked arms with him then smiled. He was actually shocked and looked down at her. `Did she just link arms with me??!! Does that mean she remembers???'

She stared back at him. "What's wrong? You don't like the amusement park??" He sighed. `Guess not yet…' He smiled down at her. "Hey! I love amusement parks more than you do ya know!"

He smiled when she looked at him with her annoyed and pissed face. She looked so cute in those expressions. "Hmph! Well, which one do we start with?" Her expressions suddenly changed into a huge smile, her angry ones all gone in a flash.

"Wel…hm…let's see…" He looked around the place, then spotted a ferris-wheel, the same one that he and Kagome rode together, 3 years ago. A quick flashback of their past came to his head. He wanted to hug her and touch her so much, how they always linked arms and were so friendly with each other…He could never let kagome go. Not this time and never again.

He smiled. "How about we check out that ferris-wheel over there?" He pointed towards that direction and stopped smiling when he saw her frown. She then took out her own comments.

"Uh….Why don't we check out something else…Let's say that roller coaster over there!" She smiled at him but her smile disappeared when she saw his eyes a bit saddened. She couldn't understand why, then it hit her. `OF COURSE! He must be scared of riding fast roller coasters! Man…He doesn't look like that type though…'

"If you're scared Inuyasha, we can ride that spinning cup tornado over there you know…" She smiled at him once more. He shot a look down at her.

"Why don't you want to ride the ferris-wheel kagome? Did…did something happen to you over there???" She stopped smiling imidiately then her brows turned down into a depressed sign. She sighed then turned around.

"You see…um…No. Nothing happened from the past when you, er….weren't here…It's- it's just that…I'mkindascaredofhights." She zoomed right through her whole sentence and he looked at her in a confused sign.

"You what? I couldn't quite catch that you know. Say it slo-wly. Please?" He did infact understood her sentence perfectly, but was kinda upset that she didn't want to ride the ferris-wheel with him. He loved and wanted to ride it so much with her all this time.

She sighed. "I said…Ok don't you dare laugh at me got that?!" She saw him nod up and down, and she began once more. "Ok…Well I'm kinda scared of…of….of…of…" He raised his brows and chuckled. "Hights?" He finished off for her this time.

She looked up at him and smiled. "Yeah! That's right-" Suddenly her head dropped down slowly. "Please don't think I'm as chicken or something like that…It's just that after what happened to me, I- I am kinda inexperienced about riding these things and whenever I ride the ferris-wheel, my head kinda hurts since well I guess I rode it before once or twice, before I lost my memories..."

Inuyasha looked down at her. `She looks so hurt and yet so lost…About who she really is. Ugh! I feel like snapping her right out of all these nonsense!' He shook his head then smiled down at her.

"Kagome, you did ride that ferris-wheel with me. You did, and I want to help you bring your memories back…" He said trying to sound very calm with her. He saw her expressions still in the same mood so he continued.

"Look, kagome…I know you can't really trust me right now, but I can always fix you from hating to ride high vehicles. Don't worry. I'm always here you can tell me or express anything with me. Besides! I'm your number one friend, aren't I?"

Somehow, very strangely, those words of his, touched her very warmly. `I thought Kouga was the only one that could make me feel this way…What's wrong with me?!' She then looked up to his golden reflective eyes and locked hers in his.

They stayed like that, no one trying to find the right words to start a conversation. She ten began to giggle and linked arms with him. "Let's go Inuyash! We don't have all day remember!" She yanked him lightly and pulled him as they ran towards the ferris wheel.

As the people from the ferris-wheel number 2 came off, (MY FAV NUMBER!*^-^*) Inuyasha holded kagome's hands in his and they climbed on to the cage(DUNNO WHAT IT'S CALLED! Sry..for my bad vocabularies!>.<).

"HEY! Let's get off! I'm starting to feel dizzy and-" She sighed. They were already locked inside now and the door won't budge. "Help…….." she managed out very sorrowfully.

He chuckled a bit then stared right into her eyes. "I said I was here remember?" He pulled her closer a bit and holded her hands. "Don't worry kag…Everything is gonna be fine and you'll just love it, trust me…" Her eyes rounded. He called her Kag…Once more. This just felt so familiar, then she noticed something. `He feels so familiar also.'

Suddenly without noticing, she started to blush. She looked down at his hands and they were tightly gripping on to hers. She looked up at him and he was looking outside the window, enjoying the night-sky view. She then got the change to take a one good look of his face. The moon light reflected on his face, making him look handsome to her eyes.

She suddenly snapped out of her mind when she noticed that he was now staring at her back. Her cheeks reddened about 100 shades of blush. This went noticed by him and he chuckled and snickered. She then noticed something. He was blushing also.

She grinned. "Why are you blushing about? Hmm???" She asked sounding very mischievously. He then blushed even darker. "Feh! Who-who said I was blushing huh?!" He tried to pick up his annoying rude bitter words but just managed very weak and shaky tone.

She giggled then suddenly bursted out laughing. "You should know that we're the only ones here dummy! HAHA" He then frowned slightly of her new nickname for him. He grinned. "Dummy??????? Whoa..since when was I a big dummy to you? And I always thought you were the one…" He said trying to look like he was thinking hard.

Her laugh suddenly died out. "Why, aw..don't you like the name dummy for you? I think it really suits you." He then hit her playfully on the head. "OW! WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!" She was now rubbing her head.

He laughed. "Boy! You should've seen your face! You looked soo weird and soo cute-" He closed his mouth. `DAMN! I'm such a BAKA MORON MORON MORON! Now she's gonna slap me and probably jump off the ride!'

She looked at him, a bit confused but then smiled. "You think I'm cute? That's cool..Well thanks since you're my friend, I think your ears are really cute too!" Her smile even made things worse. He was now blushing 1000 shades of red and turned away.

"Hey! I don't feel scared of hights anymore! This actually feels FUN!" She was now jumping up and down on her seat, making the cart wobble a bit. He told her to stop and had to calm her down until the ride was over.

When they got off, they bought each other a tiny gift- inuyasha gave her a tiny teddy bear plushie and she gave him a stone carved necklace. (THE ONE he wears in the actual T.V show! But doesn't work along with SIT! LOL)

They were now riding back home and Inuyasha could feel Kagome's light weight and her arms around him. He smiled to himself. `We sure did get along fast and I think I kinda enjoy this new Kagome also. After all, she is my target, Kagome…'

He haerd her breath in and out as she fell into a huge slumber.
