Personal Body guard

Kagome's eyes flickered open and got up from wherever she was currently. She looked around for a minute and found Kouga on the tip of her bed, only his arms and his face buried into half of her sheet. Her eyes stung her while tears poured down from her eyes. She sniffed, while trying hard not to so she wouldn't wake Kouga up, but failed.

Kouga quickly shifted up from his bed and stared right through Kagome. His eyes looked tired and yet angery. Kagome gasped at the look she was receiving. She shuddered when Kouga got up and walked up very closely to her bed.

He sighed then looked into her eyes. He began to talk. "Kagome…Do you realize that you were out there, somewhere without me past your bed time?? And worse! You were out somewhere who knows where! WITH that Inuyasha guy! I am warning you kagome! STAY AWAY FROM HIM! You can never know what he will do to you! He cam just be a stalker!" He sighed.

"I don't want to…to lose you Kagome! Please be aware of situations like this…I don't want anything or anyone to hurt you or…or come near you. I swore I would protect you and yet I feel guilty…I'm sorry…"

Kagome's eyes saddened with a mix of guiltiness. She quickly hugged Kouga (A sweet bear hug^-^) and cried in his chest. "Shh…Kagome I'm sorry. Nothing is going to happen calm down…"

She sniffed a bit uncontrollably while Kouga played with her hair calmly. She looked up at him then smiled.

"Thankyou Kouga…I…I'm terribly sorry I worried you and I will try to avoid inuyasha." She smiled before giving Kouga another huge bear hug. He couldn't find the right words for a moment, but just gripped a bit harder onto her shoulders.

"No kagome, please don't say sorry to me. Just try to be safe and let me protect you alright?" Kagome nodded without any sign of hesitation but quickly remembered Inuyasha's handsome face.

When Kouga and her talked a bit more, he left her to sleep since she would be going to get a new job to be a preschool teacher. She kept on remembering Inuyasha's face but quickly shook it off every time she thought about him.

"I'm sorry….." She whispered to herself while tears dropped down from her eyes. (A/N: She was thinking about inuyasha everyone! Sry….bak to chappie!)

Inuyasha have been up possibly for the whole night. Sesshomaru marched in without knocking once again. "Inu-" Before sesshomaru finished off his sentence Inuyasha burged in.

"Heavens brother! Where on earth are your manners?! Ma-nn-ers!!!!" He tried to sound calm but couldn't keep it straight. Sesshomaru chuckled.

"Something went wrong with Kagome huh? What? You got rejected?? That sounds uh, normal I guess…well for you…." He looked up to the ceiling, trying to make up his innocent face look.

Inuyasha growled then quickly got up and picked up his coats. "Leave, NOW…!" he pushed Sesshomaru out of his room then slapped him lightly on his head then ran for his life towards the door.

He chuckled when he remembered Sesshomaru's face when he slapped him hard on his head. He wanted to take a snap photo of it, but knew it was far from possible.

That's when her face hit him. `Kagome!' He quickly turned his steps around towards South then ran using his full speed down the alley towards Kagome's house.

"Kagome! Common lazy head get up!" Kouga got inside her room and pushed her a bit and shook her arm. She moaned lazily then flickered open her eyes. "hmm?? Is it time already?"

Kouga smiled at her then pointed towards her alarm clock. "Already 10 minutes have passed by you know…" She quickly Eeeped then jumped up, landing on the floor. He chuckled then helped her up. "What is it with you and the floor?" She smiled.

"haha, very funny Kouga!" She said, sounding sarcastic. He smiled at her then pushed her into the bathroom. "You don't want to look like a lazy teacher do ya? The kids will probably laugh at ya!"

She giggled then yelled back. "Not unless I make fun of them first! But don't take that too serious! Cause I love children!" He chuckled then left.

Kagome was running down the streets since Kouga couldn't drop her off to the preschool. She was almost there, about a few last blocks when she suddenly bumped on to someone, very hard.

She rubbed her ass then her chest lightly without knowing that the stranger happened to be a guy. He apologied first. "I'm soo sorry miss are you oka-" He stared into her eyes then realized who it was.

He jumped from his feet then kneeled down right next to her. "Holy! Are you alright Kagome?! Are you fine?? How many fingers do I have???!!! Do you remember me?! Is your uh…you know what Okay???!!"

Kagome blushed at his last words but turned into a giggle. Then laughed hard. He looked down at her then smiled before helping her up.

"Are you really alright Kagome? Why were you running down the streets so fast? Running away from Kouga??" She stopped laughing then stared at him, hard and bold.

"Don't you dare think that I hate kouga! He is my precious friend! My best friend!!" She stopped her mouth then realized that he of course was her friend also. She then realized his saddened eyes.

"But kagome! I am your best-" Before he could even finish, Kagome started to talk. "I am going to a meeting at preschool down there, because I need a new job." She then smiled. "Where were you going?"

He opened his mouth to talk. "I was just in my way to see you." He then quickly grabbed her arms then pulled her closer. "But I guess, since you found me there is no need huh?" She gasped then tried to escape from his tight grip, but wouldn't budge.

"So, where is this preschool? I hope the kids are going to be nice to you. Wait! Why don't I go with you? That way I can cheer you up when the kids make fun of you!" He smiled but noticed that she looked sad.

"Hey…What's - what's wrong kagome?! Wait…did I say something wrong?" He couldn't figure it out. She looked up to him with sad and yet mad eyes.

"Just because I lost my memories, doesn't mean that I'm insane!!!!! And no! Don't you dare following me! I said you can be my friend not a personal follower or a body guard you know!!"

He was shocked. "How could you ever think that?! I would never mean to say such a thing to you kagome! I- I was just worried about you and be quiet! I AM going to follow you and I can be your personal body guard so zip it!"

She was about to say something but he quickly linked arms with her then looked down at her. "Trust me, you'll need my support." Her mouth dropped open as in a unbelieving way then he grinned.

"Now you don't wana be late do you? Let's go!" They rushed down the streets and towards the preschool.

When they've reached the preschool ground, Kagome quickly linked off their arms then looked around for any sign of teachers or kids. She didn't want to be the laughing stalk.

He looked at her with a grin and was about to follow her into the building but she stopped him. "LOOK! A flying snake! Oh my gosh! Inuyasha! IT's it's hideous!!!!" He quickly looked towards the sky she pointed to.

"WHERE?! Where???!!!" He couldn't see anything but clouds. He looked down to where she was but couldn't find her. He saw her little figure, running towards the inside of the building and she didn't even look back at him.

"How dare she ditch me! Grrr…" He was about to follow her when her head peaked out from the door, and for a second he actually was happy and full of joy.

She smiled. "Wait here and never, I repeat DO NOT come in or else! I won't be your friend, and please leave!" she waved byebye and quickly locked the school building enterance door then smiled to herself.

`I hope he leaves soon…' She shrugged then left towards the office.

Inuyasha looked shocked for a moment but then grinned instead. "Don't you worry kagome, I will be right here, waiting for you…" He grinned once again then sat down near the grass.

"Miss kagome?" Kagome's head turned towards the direction her name have been called. "Yes? I am Kagome Higurashi." The old lady smiled lightly.

"You've passed successfully and you will start your job today. Please visit room 112 and you can start reading books to the kindergartners." Kagome smiled then bowed politely to the lady then took off, skipping down the long hall.

It was near recess time and Kagome was having a blast with these children. They all seem to like or say love her as much as they loved their own mothers. She was happy they gladly accepted her and yet was going to do her best. She was happy but saddened when she saw a kid being bullied near the corner.

The little boy looked like a demon. Yes a demon. A fox demon. He had fuzzy looking ears just like Inuyasha's except that his were brown and soft looking orangeish color of shade.

She took no hesitation and quickly jumped in the fight. "Hey hey hey! Cut that out all of you! Leave shippo alone and you two! That is no way to treat your fellow classmates. I am very disappointed in you two. Now apologies to Shippo now..!"

The two kids glanced looks at each other but one of them nearly drooled over Kagome's looks, and Shippo couldn't help but to growl lightly. The two kids quickly bowed to Kagome then apolgied to Shippo then left.

Shippo cursed a few words, now that they know his new teacher and that his not going to be the only one that was interested in her… He cursed again.

"Are you alright Shippo?" His eyes flickered open and he blushed. "Yes-yes I'm fine Miss Kagome! Thank you…" Kagome smiled lightly before patting his head. "I'm your teacher so don't worry about it!" She smiled then realized that he was the only demon around here.

She quickly saw tears drop down from his eyes and grabbed his hands and left towards the yard outside. She opened the door and sat down beneath a cherry blossom tree. She sighed.

"Shippo, I really really like you and I really love your ears." She rubbed his ears slightly and smiled. "You're perfect the way you are now. There is no need for you to be sad about who you are. I like you the way you are right now, so don't think about anything else."

He smiled then nodded happily. She smiled at him then brought him close to her and set him down on her side. She patted down his head. "Don't you worry about it alright? I like you the way you are and I absolutely think you're handsome the way you are!"

He blushed then hugged her. She smiled. She was beginning to really like this kid now. He was like her…Mostly…

Shippo shifted when he heard a movement near the other side of the yard. "Miss Kagome, don't you think the other kids will laugh at you? Please go inside…" She quickly hugged him once more then smiled.

"Don't you worry shippo! Let them laugh and I know they won't because they also like you. The way you are." She smiled and he sbnuggled deeply into her hug.

"Thankyou Miss Kagome." He smiled brightly. "I really like you Miss kagome, I think you're the prettiest and the most I mean the bestest teacher in the whole entire school- I mean the whole entire universe."

She smiled. She liked the idea of being appreciated by one of her newest students. She was really enjoying her job until she felt shippo shift a bit.

"What's wrong Shippo?" Shippo quickly replied. "Uh…Miss Kagome, I thought that no one else was going to be out here in the yard?" She was confused.

Kagome looked around then her blood stopped directly. She spotted Inuyasha, standing there, smirking towards her and Shippo's directions.

She sighed then quickly helped shippo up and walked towards the enterance door. Shippo was beginning to freak out since the stranger was following step by step towards them.

"Miss Kagome, that stranger is keep on following us! I think his gone mad… Should we call the cops Miss? He can probably hurt you! I must protect!"

Kagome giggled nervously. "Uh… Shippo that's not actually a stranger, but you could uh say that I guess…" She looked behind her then cleared her throat.

"Stranger! Please go away..! uh… you're scaring one of my students and um, I would like peace instead of war." She glanced Inuyasha a look then made a run towards the door but Shippo wasn't with her anymore. She began to panic.

She stopped dead on her tracks when she saw Shippo communicating with the stranger or uh, Inuyasha. She quickly jogged to them and pulled shippo close to her. "Let's go Shippo! School is almost over and I'll walk you today!" Shippo stopped argueing with the stranger (Inuyasha) then blushed while smiling.

"Really…really Miss Kagome?? You are going to walk with me all the way home????!" Kagome giggled. "Yes Shippo I would, so let's get going shall we?"

Kagome pulled out her hand for Shippo to take and Inuyasha however wasn't very happy. He quickly huffed a bit then yelled. "Oi! Kagome I was waiting for you all this time and now you take that kid instead of me???"

Kagome turned to look at him, then grinned. "Well, I never asked you to wait for me did I??" She saw inuyasha's head turned down. She smiled.

"Well, Shippo say good bye to Inuyasha." Shippo evily smirked at Inuyasha's direction then smiled. "Good bye Inuyasha!"

They both waved and was about to leave when Inuyasha blocked their way and was now smirking like a mad man. Kagome knew Inuyasha wouldn't hurt her physically but was still terrified with that expression on his face, as he walked up closer to them.

Kagome moved Shippo back while taking a step back herself. Inuyasha grabbed her by the wrist then smiled infront of her face. "Why don't we all go huh?"

She looked disgusted for a sec then looked down at Shippo who seemed to be looking sad with his ears dropped. "Leave us alone Inuyasha! I will be walking Shippo home and look! You're scaring him!"

She stomped like a little three year old kid, which only attracted Inuyasha more. He looked down at the kid then at her. He smirked.

"Hm..Well to me, it looks like I've got a new companion other than Kouga…" He told himself. Kagome looked at him confusingly. Then decided to bud in. "Shippo is my friend and I really like him! His one of the bestest student you know."

Shippo looked somewhat happy now. He smiled up at Kagome. "Miss Kagome, you don't have to walk with me…I will be fine but thank you Miss Kagome."

Kagome took Shippo's hands then smiled. "Don't worry I promised you I would walk with you so let's go." She pulled her arm away from Inuyasha then they marched off but was only followed by a smirking Inuyasha.

She looked back at him as they reached the last block. "Would you pleaseeeeeee stop following us??" She twirled around to face the follower, Inuyasha who was still smirking, but this time even more.

"Hey! I thought I was your new personal body guard?? What happened to our deal?" He smirked then walked up to them and took her arm. He looked down at Shippo and holded his hand also.

"Let's go then shall we?" Kagome was being dragged but when she saw that Shippo seemed to now enjoy being with Inuyasha, she smiled happily then skipped along with them.

Inuyasha looked at kagome then smiled. `She could be really sweet sometimes…Maybe just maybe, this new Kagome wouldn't be so bad…I just have to win her heart later on I guess…I'm sorry Kagome, I would never leave you again.'

He then tightened his grip on Kagome's hand then when she looked up quizzically at him, he smiled at her and they took off towards Shippo's house.
