InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Mental ❯ Discussions and the Flying Girl ( Chapter 6 )
By the way, my fellow otakus, please ignore my Word Processor heading in chapter three. I'm too lazy to go back and change it :P I would also like to apologize for my outburst in the last A/N although, Red does need to stop bashing. It's only a fanfic.
~*Faculty/Staff Brief Meeting*~
"Doc, personally I think that Higurashi's going to out do Yash's reputation. That girl's a fucking hell raiser." A soft voice rose from the back of the faculty lounge. "Personally I think she'll be that poor boy's undoing."
"Yes. I agree Kanna." Kaede glanced at the girl from her perch on the soft couch with a cup of herbal tea." That child was not here for more than ten minutes and we had to inject." She shook her head, stiff grey strands of hair shifted from the binding of an elastic band.
"As long as I don't have to deal with Yash so damn much I think I should be fine." Hiten spouted walking into the room, with a 20 ounce bottle of coke, taking a sip. "You can have someone else chasing Kagome. Cause I sure as hell ain't doin' it." The dark haired boy strode over to the couch and plopped down looking completely exhausted.
"Don't let your guard down Hiten, you know that with that girl around there's going to be ten fold the complications with that boy." The older woman interjected while shuddering at the thought. "I thought when Miroku came along and befriended him he would calm down a bit, but it seems to me that every time an 'equal' of his shows up he does everything in his power to out do them." She released a heavy sigh, brushing her wrinkled hand on the side of her face.
"Look at it this way." Kanna started, brushing away her near white hair, most likely from too many visits to the salon. "We know, for a fact that that Higurashi girl won't be here long."
"Eh? What makes you say that dear?" Kaede eyed her suspiciously, taking apprehensive sips of her tea.
"No relationships. It's just that simple." The younger girl finished with a sigh, nibbling on her bottom lip." Plain as that."
"I've actually never seen or heard of Yash ever having any relationship like that with a girl. Hell I've had civil conversations with him occasionally. Well..Kinda." The long haired boy commented, raising a hand as he continued to speak."I mean I don't hate the kid, I feel sorry for him cause he's practically homeless. And hasn't really ever had a damn family outside of the facilities."
No one spoke a word for the next few minutes, mostly to recollect their thoughts and figure out some possible solutions towards the particular issues that they we're face to face with. That InuYasha they spoke of they knew all too well, knew all of his tricks, his style , his planning. But that Higurashi girl was bold, rude, and for once they couldn't figure out what in hell to do. She didn't seem like she could possibly do much damage when the faculty saw her for the first time this afternoon. From what was said via the phone and other forms of communication, she may have had a smart mouth and an eccentric personality, but nothing to the extent that could have even been prepared for. She was the devil incarnate.
"What are we doing in here when the Suicide Lockdown is going on?" Hiten inquired, curious to why no one jumped at the opportunity to fix this unorthodoxed occurrence. His eyes skimmed over all the faces in the room. He just couldn't fathom it, unless.."It's cause of that girl."
"Hiten dear, why do you believe it's because of that?" Kaede murmured, sitting her tea down on the coffee table infront of her then proceeded to lock her arms over her chest.
"Listen. Just pretend I didn't say it okay Doc? I'm going out there to keep order. Eventually I'll need back up. " Hiten lowered his head, dragging a slick hand over his fair face. "I'm going to be slowly driven to the brink, thank god I already would in an institute." He mumbled, pushing himself off the couch and back up towards the door.
"Child, don't worry. Dismemberment doesn't come until they get to know you." Kaede smirked, nodding her head as she saw the fretful boy step out into all the chaos.
"Excuse me, Doc?" Another voice broke from around the corner, tearing away from his search for food.
"Hm?" She mumbled.
"So, what's the deal with this girl. I mean I don't get it. She's not all that tough, mouthy yes, tough. Once she's broken down that wall around her..then she's got nothing." He stammered making gestures of so-so and other oddities from behind the fridge door.
"Koga..That wall around her isn't coming down soon. And I know when you sound like this. You have become taken with her and that is strictly forbidden." The old woman scolded, focusing souly on the glint the boy held in his vivid sapphire eyes.
"Just sayin'" He shrugged, whipping back a loose pony tail."Hey, I know this is going to sound odd or extremely out of line. "He shoved something into his mouth."B-*smack*ut what if you made Yash into part of the staff?" Koga continued stuffing his face full of whatever he could get within his clutches before heading back out to the 'kids'.
"You do realize how that would turn out? Don't you?" The doctor questioned, arching a brow inquisitively.
"Hmph.Yeah. Sorry, forget I even mentioned the idea. We'd all be dead." He snickered, swallowing the last bit of food he had jammed in his throat.
The woman sighed glaring around the small lounge with a twinge of remorse for the boy. If worst came to worst. She would offer him the chance to be one of them, and help out the best he could. If, and only if this Kagome girl, kept getting out of line.
~*Two Weeks Later*~
"All I need now is a Vespa and a Bass guitar!" Kagome shrieked from down the hall jolting away from Hiten and Koga who were both stuck with the test of containing her. She smiled, and pulled her grey hoodie over her head throwing it back, her hair falling back through only to be swept away again." And only six episodes to kick some ass!"
InuYasha had been curled up on the main lounge couch, his head resting on the arm while he watched T.V. His head lifted reluctantly when he heard 'it' or shall we say her. A blur passed by the room, followed by two others trying to catch up. For once InuYasha spread a genuine smile on his face, for some reason even though it was only the second week he'd known her, she entertained him. God forbid he ever admitted that but he couldn't deny how happy she made him. Even with her constant harassment, perhaps it was because she was crazy, or the fact that she could act it. Either way, he'd let himself, and his image slide, now all he did was lay around in the free space zoned out. As long as he wasn't the one in pursuit the boy was ecstatic.
"I take it you saw Energizer Higurashi just now?" Miroku a short haired boy with dripping pools of navy eyes stepped into the lounge to pull his friend from his reverie.
"Feh. I saw a blur." Yash smirked, raising his brows as his friend took a seat in the chair directly to the side of the couch.
"I've noticed since she's been here you seem almost sane, hell at least they don't chase your ass anymore." He grinned, taking an elastic band from his torn apart wrist and tied back his short hair into a low pony tail. "What's with that anyway? Not a fighter anymore?"
"Well if the bitch didn't go around doing my job for me, I think I'd have a purpose in terrorizing them. They know all about me, and they don't know shit about her." The long haired boy yawned, for once in his life being tired. His dark eyes flickered over his hands, fidgeting with his raw nails.
"I think you want to get down her pants. That's why I think you've been out of it. Personally I'd like to but my dear Sango would murder me, and I kinda wanted to do myself in." Miroku spouted, with a smirk curling on his lips. He couldn't help it due to the fact that the boy on the couch's skin had turned a few shades of red."Aww, look at you my little boy's blushing."
"What the hell?! No! What makes you think that I want to-" His eyes lifted to the door seeing Kagome standing there, propped against the frame.
"Want to fuck me." She spoke more of a statement than a question. Her clouded eyes scattering around the room, taking in it was only the three of them.
"Huh?" The boy's mouth went dry trying to clear his head from all the thoughts that ran across his tired head. All the while his pervert friend burst out into a small fit of laughter as he watched him become nervous. "No! I'm never going to touch you wench!" He spat hopefully to recover from his previous down fall.
"Pssh. You're probably too afraid. Puss." She retorted, crossing her arms over her chest taking a seat in Miroku's lap much to his surprise.
"You honestly think I'm afraid to have sex? Christ woman." Yash's brows furrowed, avoiding eye contact with her was hard seeing as she was glaring at him with those haunting silver eyes from his best friend's lap.
"I know you are." She muttered, leaning her head back onto Miroku's firm shoulder. Taking her hands and wrapping his arms around her.
"Uh..Fuck you bitch." He seethed, turning over until his was curled into fetal position, staring blankly at the musty couch.
"Wow. I must have really gotten to you otherwise I would have expected much more of a comeback.Hmm.I'm hungry. Here I go to the-"
"Snack Machine's right there moron." Yash interrupted, mumbling into the fabric and pillows, trying to get her to shut up. But the one thing that bothered him was, since she pissed him off so much. Wouldn't he want her to leave?
"No money my dear. Would you happen to have enough to where I could post bail? By any chance?" Kagome grumbled, pulling out of her chair's lap seeing as he popped a boner not to mention tensed up. She knew his girl friend and she frankly, liked her and wanted to keep that acquaintance stable. "And maybe give your friend some cash to pay for those over priced prosties he's so fond of."
"Hey! I have Sango for that!" Miroku chirped, then blushed when he remembered he had a certain problem as of right now and stepped out the door. "Yash, I'll talk to you about this later. Right now I gotta go get to Sango before bed checks start." He yelped as he hauled ass around the corner to find his girl friend. Not sure if it was the best decision to leave the death squad in the same room together but he had himself to worry about.
Kagome sighed, walking over to the large machine glancing over the glazed plastic with a hole torn in the corner. Her tattered reflection beaming off of the dusted covering, making her feel sick. Her skin was pale, her eyes tired and electric all the same. Long raven hair that engulfed most of her body, that was scarred. She'd vaguely remembered what it was like to wear her own unfacilitated clothing, all she had were the state issued sweats and shirts. The same distilled redundancy everyday, nothing new ever happened, why the hell didn't she just act normal long enough to be discharged. Hell, the girl wasn't completely insane, her views on life were different. No one seemed to understand that.
"Fuck!" The crestfallen girl mumbled to herself, as a slick stream of unwanted wet heat poured from her stormy pools. This was the last thing she needed, another break down. It'd been about four months since her last one and she sure as hell didn't have anyone there when it happened. The doctors and orderlies never gave her the time of day when she wept over something she couldn't control. Part of her not even remembering why she was first instated.
"What's the problem now bitch?" Yash asked from his couch perch, running his long fingers through his hair while he sat up. His eyes rested on the girl, next to the machine and over sized fake plants.
"What's it to you?! Fucking Cunt!" Her frail hands clenched into balls, with her right one going forward with all the power she had in her small body. breaking away some more of the hard plastic of the machine, enough so the left side shattered lacerating her arms and hands. The gashes slowly began to open, oozing a thick sludge of crimson seeping down her flesh and grey clothing, staining the fabric.
"Don't fucking do that shit! That's gonna get your ass locked in the secured rooms with the orderlies so they can watch your ass 24/7!" The enthralled boy pulled himself up to his feet, making his statement in monotone. He straightened his black shirt and tore apart jeans striding over to her. As much as he didn't want to he reached out to her, wrapping his fingers on her shoulder and watched her cry.
"What are you looking at?" Kagome gritted, trying to hold back a pained sob. Every now and then wincing at the pain.
"I thought you liked pain.." He spoke dryly, pulling his shirt over his head."'Make a mental note she says' " A deep sigh was heaved, as he glared at her. "Just give me your god damned arm."
"Fuck off!" The midnight haired girl mumbled, blinking away some of the burning moisture, only to have another bout of it while the boy his calloused hands around her arm, along with his shirt until the bleeding stopped. Her silver eyes radiated from below the deep sea of tears, shedding a slight smile.
"Well, I need to get outta here and continue what you were doing." He smirked, blushing a little from behind the blanket of black hair. "I'll see ya around Higurashi."
